Yesterday my truck had broken down. It was 90° outside. Not even 10 minutes after the truck breaking down, it was almost immediately after submitting my Aaa request. My truck driver came. He was extremely nice. He was outgoing and just truly wonderful. He genuinely cared. Instead of us, overheating outside he allowed us to sit in the truck. This was amazing service and I would definitely recommend Aaa because of him. He took a stressful situation and just completely removed all the stress. Zero stars for this AAA location. They don't answer phone calls. Got an endless automated phone tree that would not direct to a live person to answer a simple question about notary services. Drive over to office was wasted time. They were unable to provide the service requested. I cannot recommend this office location. Too bad, as a AAA member, I expected better than this! Upon arriving at an empty location for DMV services for what should be a quick 5 minute car registration payment, I was told the wait was over an hour, on my lunch break! I politely told the check in guy to cancel that as well, I'm not waiting around on my break just for that! I had been with AAA for almost 30 years they canceled my homeowners insurance because there is a tarp on my patio cover I showed them pictures of roof and a roof inspection when I bought the house 7 years and the roof was new. I was supposed to mail my registration renewal but the last time I did my registration arrived two weeks after my tags expired. And I mailed my payment six weeks out. So since I was in the area, I decided to save a stamp and renew my registration at this particular branch. They only allow 3 customers inside at a time due to social distancing. I waited maybe 10 minutes outside and another 10 inside. They set up chairs 6 feet apart so you can sit down while you wait which I appreciated. Since I wasn't planning on going to AAA, I didn't have my paperwork with me but I knew my license plate number. The greeter at the entrance said my license plate number was enough to process my registration. The lady (I believe her name was Mina) who helped me asked for my paperwork and I told her I didn't have it but knew my license plate number. I must have given her the wrong sequence of numbers and she got irritated. Then I recited the correct license plate number but she said it wasn't working. Huh? She kept insisting I was missing a letter even though I recited it to her. Maybe it was the mask? Maybe she didn't hear me? I have no idea. Also, she was wondering why I was at this particular branch when I lived across the bridge. And I told her I was visiting the area. Then she said she couldn't process my transaction. I finally said to try looking up my insurance policy and she replied, "Oh I didn't know you were insured with us." Mina said it would take a few minutes to look it up. I questioned her about it and low and behold my name popped up in 20 seconds. I really think she thought it was too much work to complete my transaction. Well if you had asked me maybe this wouldn't take forever. Most people who walk into a branch have insurance with AAA. I know anyone can purchase a AAA membership, but still. Ask the appropriate questions. I've been a member for over 25 years. This was probably the most frustrating transaction I've ever had at a AAA branch. read more

I just had foot surgery recently so I am temporarily handicapped. I went to AAA yesterday and I had to use my walker to get into the office and from the minute I came up to the door. AAA staff were very helpful and courteous and compassionate to me. They helped me find a seat, help me with my needs, and also helped me back out to my car. I'm very impressed with my experience and the way they treated me. I highly recommend this AAA branch to everyone, especially those who have a disability and may need extra help. They are cancelling policies for debris without warning so that they can cancel insuring ppl for fire protection all together. I have been a customer on and off with them for decades. My policy was cancelled without the ability to remedy the issues of debris which occurred while I was I'll and working 12 hr shifts 6 days a week for months. Even though I have several policies with them. Would not allow me to remedy the issue within the week and keep my policy and gave no warning before hand so I could before being terminated. They do not care about your business. For a car accident I was not at fault for they would not request video footage that would prove it delaying the claim and costing me money. They are not the company they used to be. Not worth the additional cost people would pay for better easier service. read more

Quick, efficient, little wait, and we got everything done that we wanted in about a half hour - adding vehicles to our existing insurance, and handling all the DMV paperwork and fees right there on the spot. I came here after my smog check to get my car registration. The wait time is long, but what can you do when other people are also needing services? I'll have to admit the layout threw me off, not in a bad way. It reminded me of a hotel lobby/lounge. The office is clean, you don't have to stand in line. They have a monitor that puts your name up so you can see where you're at in terms of getting help. When it was my turn, the lady was friendly. I just realized that anything DMV related takes some time, probably since they have to verify and connect to the database etc. It still beats waiting at the DMV. read more

Came in the branch last night to renew my vehicle registration. Young lady in glasses who was the greeter was pleasant enough. Told me there were TWO people ahead of me. The TWO people ahead of me handled their transactions and left. ONE lady came in AFTER me and was taken care of!! Hmmmm. There I was, STILL waiting!! When I asked the receptionist why I was passed over, I was told the lady had to leave, retrieve some documents and return. I don't like being lied to. I watched the receptionist enter the lady's name into the system which allowed her to bypass me on the waitlist!!! Very unprofessional and a "rookie" move. Oh, the ladies in the office just tripped all over themselves lavishing all over this lady. Complementing her on her hair, her jewelry etc. They came from almost every corner of the office! I thought she was running for congress or something. Anyway, after a wait of approximately 40 minutes, I was finally called to the window. Yes, my jaws were tight!!! The only reason AAA is popular is because of their trendy advertising. If they were as awesome and convenient as their advertising gimmick claim, they'd have%100 of the market share. After being with State Farm Insurance for 20 years, I made a mistake and tried AAA services for 6 months. I'd call their billing practices, antiquated and not competitive and maybe a little sneaky. They'll offer you a discount in one area but charge redicolous installment fees elsewhere or not discuss a fee that exists elsewhere. They don't actually combine your policies, even though they claim to. You'll be billed individually for each policy, plus a separate installment fee for each if you decide to make monthly payments. The installment fees actually exceeded the cost of my renter's policy. Yeah, I could have paid the entire policy for the year and avoided the installment fees all together. My point is THAT NO OTHER INSURER DOES THIS and most people are to busy to realize they're paying fees aimlessly. So, if you like to be taken advantage of because you're too busy then step foot in the AAA office. AAA agents seem uniformed, and behind the times. They'd rather use preprogrammed textbook responses then actually use their brains and logic. The only thing triple a has going for them is that they have monopolized DMV services and of course nobody wants to go to the DMV. if you're responsible pay your DMV fees on time and only have one or two vehicles then the DMV can be convenient if you plan ahead and use your time wisely. AAA DMV services are for the unorganized and people who aren't thinking ahead. If they spent less money on advertising and spent more time actually being competitive with other insurance carriers and took care of their customers they might actually have a better share in the insurance market. read more

I received a letter from AAA stating that they were not going to renew our homeowners insurance. I am not upset about that. Two years ago our neighborhood had a fire. The reason they gave is that our home is showing signs of differed maintenance including our roof which is an unacceptable hazard and liability. That is far from the truth. We have a tile roof which is good for 50-100 years life span. Why lie? Just say, we are in a fire area and you no longer can insure us. You really don't know how good your insurance is until you have to make a claim, which we did. We only lost minimal things. Everyone of my neighbors who had AAA had difficulty getting calls back, had to constantly fight with them. Two of my neighbors sued to get their claims paid. I even spoke to two people at AAA, asking them to send someone out to see our roof and home. We take good care of our home and I don't respect or would not recommend AAA since they are deceptive. I have been a member for 43 years. Our other neighbors who had other insurance companies had no issues and were paid quickly. Shame on you, AAA. read more

I have visited this location for DMV services. Overall wait time and service are much better than the DMV. Most visits average 15 minutes wait time. Only wish appointment is available. Depending on the date and time, can take a bit longer. If you are not paying attention, you'll miss the building. Access to the parking lot could be better and no angle parking. There is one weird parking spot that is labeled "No Parking" . Serves no purpose, in between two parking spots. Waiting area is clean and comfy. read more
