GEICO offers good rates on their car insurance. I saved $$. I recommend them. Thank you! read more

My vehicle had the catalytic converter stolen. I filed a claim with Geico and what a disaster! The adjuster claimed my truck was totaled, I disputed this assertion and attempted to discuss the estimate for repairs. The rep did not provide an estimate to me before claiming my truck was totaled. I ultimately withdrew my claim and shopping around for a new carrier. The Geico app is useless and phone wait times are abhorrent. Spend your money elsewhere, this company is a joke! read more

Stay FAR FAR AWAY from them. They are always the lowest price, but you'll get exactely what you paid for. GRIEF, Pain, and screwed over by them. The WORST insurance company I've every dealt with in my intire life. LOOK at the reviews on them. Save yourself time, money, and headaches by shopping around, but don't let their low offer to beat ouot the competition to suede you to buy their insurance. Unless you want to feel the pain what others have felt dealing with their shady tactics. read more

This is a 2 part complaint one for geico for sending safeflite to come out and fix a small chip in my window about the size of the tip of a pen, and the tech completely cracking my window and then quoting around 900 to replace the window. This is ontop of getting my window completely replaced about 3 weeks prior, and uv tint applied 2 days before that. So according to geico I would now need to pay my deductible to get my window replaced. They take no responsibility for sending an incompetent company that made the situation a 100x worse. read more

Is taking almost a year to settle my accident/theft claim. Adjusters Dominic Lambert and Christopher Monheit have lied and and refused to pay legitimate estimates and costs. Refuse to honor estimates for damages. Dont return phone or messages. Very deceitful and unprofessional. Geico customer for 27 years. No longer. They are really despicable. read more

Absolute worst customer service. This company decided to cancel my insurance after 7 years with them without any heads up. Everyone I spoke to gave me conflicting and/or incorrect information. When I finally spoke to a manager (Hunter 237481) he was absolutely rude and condescending - reading me the letters they had sent as if I hadn't already read them, and constantly interrupting me and mansplaining rather than listening or answering any of my questions. He told me they don't have to provide information about what they don't cover nor let me know before they make a final decision to cancel my insurance. His attitude was basically telling me to f*ck off... Of course, a company can choose to do business any way they like, but this company would rather lose customers than do the right thing. Had this experience gone differently, I may have thought about returning; however, after this debacle of bad business practice, unprofessional and incompetent employees, and an incredibly rude manager, I will never return to Geico - and will instead be canceling my home owners insurance with them as well. read more

THIS LOCATION IS NO LONGER GEICO INSURANCE. IT IS NOW HOMERS INSURANCE. I say this because like me, if you thought Geico still had their doors open, you have thought wrong and would stumble upon Homers insurance instead. So this review is for HOMER INSURANCE. Taylor is a really honest and kind insurance agent. Long story short, my boyfriend and I wanted to conduct business at Geico but in person. We however, stumbled upon this business after having found out Geico closed all their doors in CA. First impressions of the business, very professional and presentable and for the front desk, she was very friendly and welcoming. Since first Impressions were good and we were already there, we decided to get a free quote. We were introduced to Taylor to guide us on our new auto insurance. I'm glad he was the one able to help us. Throughout the entire process, Taylor was very knowledgeable, patient, understanding, very helpful, friendly, and very professional. All the questions/comments we threw at him, he was able to have an answer while also giving us great recommendations. If you're searching for insurance for auto, home, plane, etc. come to this business! They are very honest people! I'm very pleased with the whole experience and wanted to say thank you Taylor and homers insurance for taking great care of us. My boyfriend and I can expect nothing but kind, honest, and helpful representatives at homers insurance and know that we can depend on them with our auto insurance needs! read more

I don't even have Geico insurance and I'm going to leave a bad review. I got a letter in the mail asking me to give them a call and I could save $500 / yr on insurance. I called, pressed #1 to say I wanted a quote and I was on hold for 40 minutes! Never got to speak to anyone. If that is what they do pre-sale, I can't imagine what it would be like if I had to talk with them about a claim. Quick update - I called them back, waited 5 min and got to speak to someone. Incompetent agent, I had to repeat things sometimes three times. Gave me my quote, 60% HIGHER than what I'm paying now. What a waste of time. read more

After many years, I parted ways with Geico today. Poorly managed customer service sent me over to USAA where my auto quote was one third of the Geico 6 month policy. Service member's and their family members would be better served with another carrier. I gave one Star because no stars was not an option. read more

I got rear ended on july 26. On August 2nd my car was in the shop starting the repair process. I used the other guys insurance to repair my car and so quickly my claim was handled. My State Farm agent said they would probably drag their feet and delay repairs and not contact me so I should go thru my insurance. Nope. The accident happened on a Friday and they called me to get scheduled on the following Monday. They serve up the repair and the rental car. Now, considering switching to Geico...... . read more

Hand down Geico is the worse insurance company I ever had , been with geico over 7years and they decided to cancel my service for no reason , wouldn't even give me a courtesy call or text , so I made the payment through the automated system and that was the only way i could get someone on the line , and after they took my money they informed me my insurance was still canceled !!! Advised me to wait 15 days than go online to the Geico app to see if they would qualify me for insurance again, they pull this right before the New Year and Christmas, worse insurance I ever had !!!! read more

They are great for GEICO but the homeowners Insurance they signed us up for is TERRIBLE and they won't help us get our claim processed. When contacted for assistance on our claim they replied -"we don't do that" ! Really? You don't stand behind a service you sell? What kind of agent are you? Terrible service and switching now!!!! read more

It was a typical Sunday summer afternoon in Sacramento, which meant dealing with 100 something degrees of dry heat as a couple of good friends from out of town were running around to get some errands done. One of the errands included going into Big 5 for me to pick sandals for my white water rafting trip the next day, which I was excited about. Just right after I paid for my sandals, I searched for my keys in my pockets and they were nowhere to be found. So, I go back to my car and check - and I come to find out that my keys are safe as they were locked in my car! I managed to lock my friends and I out of my car while it's still running! I'm still not sure how I managed to pull that one off. Could it be the heat? Could it be the long hours put in at work? Could it be the debauchery of celebrating my 30th birthday all weekend long? Or could it be that I'm just sly!!!! No matter what the case, I knew what was sensible to do. Call my insurance and get a tow truck to open up my car - after all, I have GEICO! You know with the commercial with a gecko with an Aussie accent. I mean there are many good things that come out of Australia - i.e boomerang, the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, and crazy chant! Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi! So, I did not doubt that my insurance will come through and save us from the Sacramento valley dry heat. I made the call and was informed it will take about 45 minutes for the tow truck to come, which was pretty standard from my experience in the past. No big deal, so my friends and I get to hang out and I hear the a little flack from them from my sly move! No big deal, I mean that's what good friend are for making fun of you for your stupid actions. So we wait and wait. After about 50 minutes of waiting, we saw about 3 or 4 tow trucks pass by wondering if that was the one. Nope! Then at the 1 hour 15 mins mark a man with a wireless earpiece pulled by in a 1991 maroon Acura Integra with a non-matching white hood and backside.... Hmm... sounds suspect! Then, he asked "Did you guys call for a roadside assistance?!" Puzzled - I said yes. I mean GEICO, really?!? really?!? The freakin GEICO Gecko sent a beat up 1991 Acura Integra to save the day! I expected a tow truck... I guess at the end of all this, I got my car door opened and my car keys in hand. But, I can't help to think about another GEICO commercial where there's a stack of money with googly eyes on top of them and the motto of "that's the money you could be saying with GEICO." At that moment, I realized that I didn't see the GEICO Gecko, but I did see the stack of money with the googly eyes yelling SUCKA! read more

Ever since I first opened up my auto and renters insurance policies nearly two years ago, Rachel has showcased her exemplary professionalism and capabilities every single time I've reached out to her and her office for something related to my policies. Due to her exceptionalism, I have nothing but great things to say about Geico insurance, which has resulted in both my maxing out the policies I have and purchasing additional insurance, and in referring friends and family to Geico because of my great experience thus far. Great job, it really matters! read more

I paid for my auto and motorcycle insurance 6 months ahead, I got a letter from DMV that I my motorcycle is not insured, I called GEICO inquiring what is going on, they reassured me that GEICO will take care of it, a month later I receive another notice from DMV stating my registration on my motorcycle is suspended and to reinstated DMV needs proof of insurance and $14 for their fees, I called GEICO again and request to talk to a supervisor, they couldn't explain why so the supervisor reassured me he personally will follow up and call me back the next day, NOTHING! no call back nothing! 3 weeks goes by I got another letter from DMV stating they did receive the insurance but I still own DMV a reinstatement fee of $14, so I go online and paid for it and called GEICO to reimburse me back they refused to stating it's not in their to adjust or reimburse any money to customers! read more

Still waiting for someone to contact us about the vehicle your insured hit. Lousy service!! 11days and counting??

Absolutely amazing experience! I was shopping for new car/home insurance and got reasonable quote from Geico. Davyd Valuiskyi gave me a call to talk specifics. After hearing him out and working out the finer details of the quotes, I opted to close the deal. Davyd walked me through the change process and helped with outlining what I needed to do in terms of canceling existing policies as well as reaching out to my mortgage servicer to update escrow details. The whole process took less than an hour and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Davyd and thank you Geico! read more

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM GEICO!! THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!We were policy holders who had our auto and recently homeowners insurance through them for over 15 years. I ran over a ladder on the freeway and guess what? Our auto insurance DOUBLED!! Are you kidding me? They love taking money from you but you better PRAY you don't need them to pay for anything if you have an accident because they will make YOU pay dearly for it!! What a terrible company. We cancelled and went with a major outfit. Guess what? We saved 25%! Guess they have to pay for all those cute lizard commercials somehow....YOU are paying for them. Surprise! read more

Service was cool. Good price. Polite workers. Personal insurance is good. But commercial for trucks ‍

Don't do it. My car was parked while hit and run on 02-28-21 and today is 04-19-21 and nothing has been done. I can never get a hold of my claims rep. or any managers, I've escalated to a supervisor and have never heard back. They are still asking for information that I already provided weeks ago to my claims rep. - directly to her email. My file is not being updated properly and I still have damage to my new car. When I gave my statement the questions were very interrogative, I felt like I was under arrest. I am not a happy customer and as soon as this is done, as I am searching for lawyers now, I will be getting a new insurance company ASAP! Don't do it, thank me later! read more
