After being turned away from 8 clinics in our home area on a day we needed to leave for Chico from Gilroy. I decided to try to book an appointment in a town that was on our way. Luckily Pawsh was my first call. The staff were very helpful in accommodating our changing arrival time due to Friday traffic. We arrived only 40 minutes before they closed but they still were very pleasant and professional. They took Jade in and she had to be sedated because of the proximity of an artery near the cut. The doctor and staff never acted rushed even though they had to stay over an hour past closing time. I wish we didn't live so far away. I would definitely use them for Jades primary care.

I had a great experience at this clinic and truly appreciate the level of care we received. Dr…read more Singh was amazing -- very attentive, compassionate, and thorough during Maverick's examination. He took the time to address all of my concerns and made me feel reassured and confident about his care plan. The two veterinary technicians were also outstanding. They were gentle and professional while administering his shots and trimming his nails, and they took the time to demonstrate proper nail-cutting techniques so I can safely maintain them at home. That extra effort meant a lot. You can tell this team genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate veterinary care.

I've been a customer with this vet office since 2022 when I moved to Suisun and started taking my…read morechihuahua Benito here. At first I had no complaints. They even had one of the doctors fix his teeth. They took really good care of him during that procedure. About 2 years ago the team started becoming real sticklers about the heart worm medication I gave him every month. It was a nuisance but I figured it was a safety precaution as they explained to me. Then when my fiancé moved in with his 2 pit mixes it became pretty ridiculous. This vet office had policies that are incredibly strict around prescribing heart worm medication. And with 2 medium sized dogs and a little, the price of these meds is WILD. I know this inflexibility around policy is not typical since I've asked folks about their vet experiences and found that some vets will have you sign paperwork that says you understand the risk of not getting them tested every year in order to ensure the dog can stay on the flea tick heart worm meds. This strictness was also very different than my experience at Redwood Vet Hospital in Vallejo. I give my dogs their heart worm medicine every single month without exception. I never miss a dose. This vet office isn't really willing to work with dog owners and seems more loyal to their policies & money than trying to mitigate health risks & disease in dogs. They don't believe their customers who tell them that we don't miss a dose. They don't care if you understand the risks they're describing for a possible missed dose. They will proceed to talk to you like your dumb. I've experienced both Dr. Kafka & Dr. Brandwajn talking down to either me or my partner (over the phone) about how we care for our dogs. I used to work at a dog daycare and I understand that many, many owners don't really know how to properly care for their dogs. I feel for vets and what they have to see and deal with. But the way business is conducted in this office is not the way to make it better. I haven't seen Heather in the office for a while, I'm not sure if she still works there but she was one of the office staff who didn't treat me like I didn't know what I was doing and even leveled with me and said that if money was an issue I can get my 3 dogs vaccinated at the monthly SPCA clinic. She seemed to understand that the safety of the dog should be the priority, but when we took our dogs back for their next checkup at A4P after taking them to the vaccine clinic we were treated as if we were lying about them having been vaccinated. The amount of hoops we have to jump through just to get our dogs access to flea tick & heart worm meds feels like a scam. We've brought our dogs in just for a simple heart worm test or cytopoint shot and been quoted $1000+ for a wild amount of additional tests they wanted to tack on. I do not feel like this vet is trustworthy or has my dogs best interests in mind. Our experience at the last two visits has finally convinced us to change vets. Which is sad because I really wanted to support this local business that isn't owned by private equity. Please enjoy pics of the goodest dogs in the world

My three cats are long-time annual patients here. In late April 2026, my 12-year-old cat, Mia, had a healthy checkup. However, by May, she suddenly stopped eating and began vomiting. When I called, the office accommodated us with a same-morning appointment. Dr. Dhaliwal immediately recognized that something was wrong. While blood work confirmed diabetes, his professional intuition told him a deeper issue was causing her lack of appetite. He recognized that her specific symptoms indicated a more complex issue, advised checking for a tumor or foreign body and recommended an MRI before proceeding with diabetes treatment. Following his guidance, I took Mia to SPEC for an MRI, which revealed lymphoma. Though I unfortunately had to put Mia down, I am profoundly grateful for Dr. Dhaliwal's medical expertise, which prevented us from mistreating her or prolonging her discomfort. He is exceptionally gentle, kind, and comforting during difficult moments. The entire staff is equally helpful and compassionate, and I highly recommend their care.

I spent thousands with him and needed an appointment for a 4 week old rescue kitten and he could care less. Rude and insensitive only cares about how much money you have given him lately.
