What I especially liked is how Kevin, the owner, double checked whether the old unit could be repaired, provided two quotes (standard and high efficiency), and installed the new Bryant unit. There is no separate sales and installation teams. It was clean, eventless, and done in 4 hours. Another co, recommended by ConsEnergy, gave a quote that was more for a standard unit. Instead, we had to call every day ourselves just to check if the part had arrived. There were no proactive updates. When the technicians finally came, there was no courtesy call, just loud knocking and confusion about why they were there. After the repair, comments were made about "issues" in our area, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I'm thankful the heat is back, but the communication, urgency, and customer care did not match what we expected from a DTE home protection plan.

I called Fahrenheit for a second opinion and George came out and assessed it, figured out the issue (why it kept needing charged) and he repaired my AC and it kept working perfect until I moved. He was so kind and honest and professional . Since then I've moved and will not use anyone else for my future needs. I am soon going to be having them install a whole home generator. I think people look for a perfect service based company that runs like Amazon...but do not understand that most service based companies are family run and are locals with their own families and are not robots running on AI. In my experience (from referring George to friends...and having him help service my parents home as well) they are honest and caring and do great work. I read a couple of the 1 star comments below and after dealing with George I can't quite believe them. If something is wrong or done incorrectly, George will make sure it's righted. He's a good guy who cares about his clients and cares about doing things right.

Unfortunately for me, my setup is non-compliant with current code specs. Fortunately for me, Al was able to come check it out in person the next day. He was then able to get back to me and upgrade my system, install a new water heater, and take the old one out... all within 72 hours of my original request. I thought they should be able to diagnose better than a guess. I called Crain and they were out to the house the next day. They plugged in a tester and informed me that it was the motor control module that was bad. The cost to repair was $1200.00 and the system was 18 years old. I elected to have a complete system (furnace and AC) installed. Crain was there the next day and did a complete install in one day. There was some miscommunication about Lennox financing but that issue falls to Lennox rather than Crain. Workers were prompt and courteous. They covered my basement carpet with a tarp and even covered my wood flooring steps with a tarp trying to be overly cautious of my home. I thought the tarp on the steps was dangerous for them but that's what they did. I don't believe the cost of the system was out of line. Prompt service, good pricing, courteous workers, steps taken to protect my home, and the install went smoothly. Not sure what more you could ask for. There is always someone who will find fault with some minuscule detail but they did a good job for me. The most important question, Would I recommend this company to you. Answer, Yes. I was pleased with their service and would like to use them in the future.

Working with Salesmen Ayuob was stress free at all times. Install went flawlessly and the new HVAC system was installed in my home 1 week later.
