I had called the store to inquire about my 81 year old mother and what they would suggest would be the easiest way to renew her license, and became a AAA member. I have to say I am so disappointed in AAA Saugus' insurance team. Not a SINGLE person knows what they are doing there. Every time I try and do a simple thing like submit a piece of paper for a discount it never gets done until I call 15 times and fight tooth and nail. I wish there was something less than 1 star I could give because the insurance agents are the most incompetent people I have ever met. read more

We called AAA roadside at 8:00pm. They said it would be 90 minute wait. At 10:00 we called to follow up and they said our service call was cleared at 9:36. No one showed up or called. The service person said they wouldn't be able to come again until 12:15am. Nothing they could do to expedite. So so disappointed in AAA. This is not the service you would expect of a well established company. read more

Was the only place open on the weekend to get a license renewal! I arrived an hour before closing. There was a line, but the woman doing the renewals worked extremely efficiently to get as many people thru as possible (including me). It was much appreciated! read more

I hesitate to write this review because it means letting everyone know about this amazing "secret," but this is absolutely the best way to renew a driver's license. I had to get a new picture for my license, so I filled out the forms first on the RMV website, then brought them in with me to AAA Saugus. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes - picture taken, forms completed, and license paid for. The people who worked there were friendly and helpful, and there were no crowds or lines. I'll never go back to the RMV. read more

needed travel help for my wife and daughter going to Europe as we already went on the AAA site and found flights and prices, first there is the women sitting there doing nothing at all as pretty much most of them were doing the same. we had to sit and wait for a half hour watching them looking at the clock 4:15 finally an older women from out back walked us to her small cubical with two seats and outdated p/c, told her our destination and she typed in the Gettysburg address and had an expensive flight, I told her we typed in AAA at home and it was hundreds cheaper and it took seconds, her response was a gruff " that's a third party AAA, we make a commission when you come in" her monitor was old and small and we saw nothing. the whole office is outdated as the employees. just use AAA if you need a tow read more

I went here last Monday to get my license renewed, I was in and out in about ten minutes and everyone was so helpful and friendly. I walked in and was greeted immediately and told where to fill out my paperwork and then brought right over. 100% would recommend going here, everyone was so nice and really helpful. read more

Yesterday I called AAA because my car wouldn't start. It was 8 degrees out. NO answer on their phone number-all day. Just a busy signal. I went online to request service. They had a 5 hr wait!! After 5 hrs of waiting, I get a call from them (first time actually talking to a human) only to be told Oooops! We sent them to RI instead of Mass! It will be another 6 hrs till we get someone to you! At this point it was after 8pm. I said forget it. Send someone in the morning. I was then told that they can't do that. I need to call again in the morning! Needless to say, I called someone else in the morning to jump start my car and drove to Advance auto parts and bought a new battery, where they were happy to install it for me. I have been paying for AAA for a few yrs now and never called them for help before. What the hell am I paying for? They don't even have another number to call if you can't get thru to the one they automatically route you to. And no complaint line, or anywhere online to file one. read more

Went in to purchase Six Flags New England Tickets. The process was very quick, the line wasn't long and I got a great discount. The AAA representative was very friendly and accommodating. Also, come to find out they have a mini registry in there which I am definitely going to take advantage of when I need it. Thanks AAA. read more

I like the office in Saugus because they not only provide the regular AAA services, but they also have an RMV service there. I had to renew my driver's license and I didn't have to go to the Registry. It is very convenient. read more

Went for license renewal. Women doing the renewal were fantastic but person at the desk as you enter was not at all friendly. I arrived prepared with my paperwork and got in line. The woman at the front desk, Janet, was her name, loudly and in an accusatory tone told me I was not in the line as I had not done my paperwork. When I quietly said I had it with me, she loudly replied that I could get behind two other people as they had come in before I had. The two people in question were not in the line when I came in and I was certainly not trying to cut. This woman was totally out of line, and the two men she had me get behind apologized for her remarks. As those in line continued to wait our turn we were stunned to hear some of her other remarks to people as they came in. It's unfortunate that one person can make an otherwise pleasant experience so unpleasant. read more
