I actually rented on March 1, gave notice on March 14 that I would be moving the trailer in the next week, and moved it on March 18th. The owner refused to refund my deposit, so it cost my $199 for 18 days to park my teardrop there. Stay far, far away from this place! The owner will use any excuse to rip off your deposit. BEWARE!

I had rented a storage unit from Storage Central in Redmond Oregon a while back. I came into some…read moretough times and was unable to pay the monthly rate for a while. Once I was able to start a payment agreement for the balance, the owner reneged and gave me 2 weeks to pay the balance, which I could not do. I then offered $200.00 to get my paperwork (US Government and Navy paperwork) and military uniforms out but they never returned my call. They auctioned the goods off 2 weeks ago and called me today stating that someone bought the unit and the person who bought everything returned my box of paperwork. She (Charlie the manager) told me that I need to pay $100.00 for this box of paperwork and that my military uniforms weren't in the unit. She stated that the $100.00 will go to the person who purchased the unit and that he wants the money for the box. I offered to send the buyer a check, but she said she can't give me his info. This place is full of scammers and liars. The owner cannot hold onto government paperwork due to its sensitive nature, and the fact that it is government property. I am contacting an attorney on Monday to resolve this issue. So if you have a storage unit at Storage Central, and you get yourself laid off from your job or have financial issues, just get your stuff out or else they'll screw you over.

What they get is the hike they wanted, while most people will think they got something, when all you got was a rate increase without appropriate notification. They still got their price hike.
