Due to very poor and unprofessional communication, I cannot recommend Storage 2U. I filled out a…read moreform on their website a month ago, and also called on Feb 9th, requesting a reservation for a unit for March 11th. I was told on the phone by the Central Oregon division that yes I could have a unit delivered on March 11th. I did not hear anything further after that. I called again two more times requesting more information and confirming that a unit will be delivered on March 11th. I called on the day of expected delivery, March 11th asking when the unit will arrive and was told perhaps in the next few days. I reminded them that I was told March 11th was confirmed. The person on the phone at that time said no, they did not confirm a date for delivery at all because they never received a rental agreement. I was never informed that I needed a rental agreement to reserve. As a result, I had to search for another company to resolve the mistake made by Storage 2 U, they never admitted their error.

I had rented a storage unit from Storage Central in Redmond Oregon a while back. I came into some…read moretough times and was unable to pay the monthly rate for a while. Once I was able to start a payment agreement for the balance, the owner reneged and gave me 2 weeks to pay the balance, which I could not do. I then offered $200.00 to get my paperwork (US Government and Navy paperwork) and military uniforms out but they never returned my call. They auctioned the goods off 2 weeks ago and called me today stating that someone bought the unit and the person who bought everything returned my box of paperwork. She (Charlie the manager) told me that I need to pay $100.00 for this box of paperwork and that my military uniforms weren't in the unit. She stated that the $100.00 will go to the person who purchased the unit and that he wants the money for the box. I offered to send the buyer a check, but she said she can't give me his info. This place is full of scammers and liars. The owner cannot hold onto government paperwork due to its sensitive nature, and the fact that it is government property. I am contacting an attorney on Monday to resolve this issue. So if you have a storage unit at Storage Central, and you get yourself laid off from your job or have financial issues, just get your stuff out or else they'll screw you over.
