My shower was leaking at the shower head and needed a simple washer for bathroom sink. He took about an hour for what he did. Then he lied to me about he said he was done and told me the water would stop leaking in about an hour. He presented me a bill for $690.00 and I was aghast, I at no time was paid it with my Visa card was there an estimate of cost. Which I would have found an alternative plumber. He just started on the job. I should have my pants down as if I was getting screwing by Garden City Plumbing. One star for service requested. One star for quality. Minus 5 stars for value.

Will came and took a look at the situation, sent us a quote and we scheduled a time that was mutually agreeable. He was very methodical and purposeful when removing and replacing the pipes. This process took about a week to complete and we were only without water for one day. Please know that a plumber and a pipe fitter are different and Will is a pipe-fitter and truly gifted in his craft. Many Montanans live under the rule "leave no trace" and Will did just that. He removed and disposed of all of the old pipes and cleaned up after the job was done. If you are looking for someone who is meticulous, Will is your guy! We couldn't be happier and now our home is ready to welcome updated bathrooms!

I scheduled a service call for a propane fireplace that wouldn't light. The technician diagnosed a…read morefailed gas valve and quoted $1,620 to replace it. This was suspect for a number of reasons. First, the fireplace is 3 years old. Second, they would not guarantee that this would fix the problem and the part was not returnable. Third, after the technician gave me the part number, I looked it up and it was a $200 part. Nothing added up about this experience. I didn't feel confident in the diagnosis and got a second opinion. The second company (Energy Partners) found the actual issue: a bad thermopyle, replaced it while there, and the entire repair cost $225 including the service call. I shared these details and asked Hellgate to review their misdiagnosis and refund the $200 service fee, but they refused. This was a significant misdiagnosis with a nearly $2,000 unnecessary repair recommendation. This level of misdiagnosis undermines trust, and customers deserve far better. I cannot recommend this company.

We hired Shawn to replace our jetted drop in bathtub that cracked, most likely because it wasn't…read moreinstalled correctly when the house was built several years ago. Shawn did an amazing job with what turned out to be a difficult installation because of it being a retrofit, as well as a different brand tub that was shaped somewhat differently than the original. He improved the infrastructure that supports the tub so that it is now properly installed. We also added the complication of moving the existing plumbing/faucets and drain to a different location in the new bathtub. It quickly became clear that Shawn is an expert and has extensive experience. We are extremely pleased with the work performed and his reasonable rates.
