This is an old report but I figure I should share - Really wanted to Love these guys as they're personable and probably trying to do a great job but I had them ruin a set of $1000 batteries when they left lights on and my rig was unplugged. I came in the shop and found the batteries at 0%. They said if I didn't want my batteries dead I'd need to get a solar charger. This just didn't make sense since I left the rig in their care for several weeks. At least own the fact that the batteries were nuked! read more

I say don't go near these people. In May of 2021, I was beginning a trip to Alaska but my teardrop had a tire that kept blowing out because of a bent axle and a taillight that would not work. As a woman traveling alone, I was very worried about having trouble on the Alaska Highway in the middle of nowhere. I contacted Done Rite and they said they could get me fixed up and on the road. I left teardrop with them and received a call later saying that the axle was not bent, that the tires just needed to be greased and they were having trouble getting the tail light to work. Didn't seem right and I questioned how a lack of grease could cause a blow out and the guy assured me this was the case and I did not have a bent axle! For some stupid reason I believed him (he was personable and made me feel as if he were doing me a favor by getting me back on the road) so I acquiesced. The lights they said had to be rewired (whole trailer) and a bad tail light and greasing wheels was $800!!!!! Yes, you guessed it--on my return trip in July, in less than 3000 miles, I had my brand new tire blow out on the Alaska Highway and was I pissed. Fortunately, a guy pulled over to help and he was a mechanic! He knew nothing of the history but told me, as he put my spare on, that the wheel needed to be greased!!!! When i returned to Missoula, I called up and asked to speak to owner to discuss the trouble--I was told he would call back. Nothing, I called several weeks later and got the same treatment. They DO NOT STAND BEHIND their work as stated--they are dishonest and dishonorable--stay away! I never was able to ask what happened or have them try to make it right. read more

We are on the road in our trailer moving from Washington state to Georgia. We discovered our entire trailer didn't have 12volt power which meant our fridge wasn't running because it couldn't start. We called when we were an hour west of Missoula to make an appointment for the next morning. Dale met us at the shop that night and was underneath the trailer in the dark, dirt and 33 degree weather. He couldn't find the issue so we met him the next morning at the shop. He found the issue and we were on our way within thirty minutes with a very reasonable bill. Going to give these guys the benefit of the doubt! We called them & made an appt for following morning to come check our Rv. We called them based on reviews & also from the rv park - who said they come out there We had a 9:30 am appt. they didn't show up. We waited until 10 or so & called them. Got a recording. Waited until 11 & decided to go ahead & leave to see some attractions we were there for. They finally called back about 2:30. He said his office should have called. They didn't. Anyway. For 3000 miles we had nothing but headaches between our motor home door and slide slipping out while driving. There was a young guy who cussed a lot and wrenched on our RV for a few minutes and then said it would take weeks and thousands of dollars to repair. Ended up taking my couch to a welding shop and they foxed it for a few hundred dollars. These guys really just want insurance or warranty company jobs where they can over charge. They told me to call my insurance company cause the knew the adjusted and could get is the money. Just beware. read more

Had an electrical problem while camping in Missoula with our travel trailer. Done Rite Mobile RV came out right away and diagnosed a bad charge connector. They had the part in stock and were able to get back to us with the part and get us on the way to Glacier by early afternoon. They were very professional and courteous. Had an issue with my motorhome in Missoula, called my Good Sam Extended Warranty. Their closest help was in Thompon Falls a good two hours from here. Searched the web, found a mobile service, Mark, at DoneRite RV and he is the very best I have seen in my travels. From the lady that runs the office to Mark's visit, which he fixed in less than an hour. Knew his stuff! Very personable and experienced. Came with a trailer, well organized inside. Owner, Mark, and his cast and crew (Greg and Rae, to name a couple) go out of their way to get it "Done Rite!" Took our 2020 Jayco Whitehawk camp trailer in for a repair to a sizeable ding on the upper right corner from when I backed it into the gutter on our home. Not only did they fix the damage by putting it back together with materials far superior to the original panels from the factory, they went through it and fixed anything and everything that was amiss. For example, they noticed that the electric rear stabilizer feet worked sporadically at best. They crawled underneath and found that the control switch had been installed without protection from the road spray and the wires were corroding. They replaced the switch AND installed a plastic cover to protect it! This is just one of many things they did besides just fixing the damage I had created. I laughed and said to Mark, "I am going to tell people to bring you their new rigs so you can go through them and make better what the factory built!" Mark and his crew are outstanding, even through the rigors of COVID. First rate work. I highly recommend them for your trailer or coach needs. read more

Previously Mark had worked on our camper and at first everything was good. They did what they said they would. Then in May 2020 we had a blow out that took out part of the undercarriage, hot water tank, skirting, plumbing lines, and more. We made arrangements to bring in the trailer in September. Nothing happened and we had little contact with Mark. We would call and he would promise to call back, but never did. We did understand that with Covid supplies were harder to get. However, when we went to the shop in November to grab something out of the trailer, our slide was open, we had mice on the inside, and the battery was still attached. He had promised he would take off the battery and put it in his shop to keep it from freezing. We said call us when the parts come in. Again nothing. We started calling and making a fuss. We were told that since we did not leave our camper on the lot, our job moved to the bottom of the list. It took from May of 2020 to April of 2022 to get our camper back. Overall, it was a horrible experience. We sold the trailer this spring to find out that the new hot water tank was not a new one. Be leery. He charged the insurance for a new hot water tank and did not deliver. read more

Sorry to say, I liked the people but the quality of work done and not done left much to be desired. Had it in twice to fix two leaks only to find the repair people broke even more plumbing and charged us for the repair of what they broke.Water line was shabbily rerouted and unprotected and while driving down the street in another town the strap holding gray water fell lose and drug down the street and twisted. I spent hours in. Walmart parking lot straightening the strap and reattaching. The initial cost was in the thousands. Find another repair shop. read more

I never asked for a quote- Big Mistake!!! Part cost was doubled or more - I was charged $95 to diagnose a fan motor that I told them was the problem in the first called. I waited a month for the motor to be delivered. Then two days with my furnace disassembled while we waited for a squirrel cage. Total cost- $585 with an hour and a half attributed to labor!!! This is a scam artist. Never again. I talked to owner (Mark) about his exorbitant charges and offered him the option to make corrections. The check cleared today and he is now on my "do not EVER recommend or use again " list. They have the honor of being the only company I have written a review for. Never again! read more

Had a problem with generator...Mark came out to my RV site and spent about an hour trying to figure out what was going on..however, he was unable to resolve the issue. I knew he didn't repair generators but he was willing to come see if there was a battery or electrical issue that might be the culprit. He was a pleasure...I knew right away he knew what he was doing...and, I felt sure that if he could have resolved the issue, he would have. Fair, honest and reliable....thank you. Mark! read more

We had one of the worst experiences dealing with the owners, this is the worst company to work with, they made every excuse not to do the work on our RV. There parking lot is a joke, broke down cars and trucks every where, looks like a junk yard. We wasted one whole day for them to do absolutely nothing to help with our problem. Very impressed by Done Rite RV. They got me in same day I called. I had 110, but no 12v in my 17' Nash so no refrig, water pump or lights and 5 hrs from home. I was in a bind. Rangitch Bros were booked out till September!! Was at the Done Rite yard by mid-afternoon and found them very busy which made agreeing to see to my problem even more amazing. After some diagnostics, slots for battery fuses were found empty. What? Recently, converter had been replaced by out of state dealership. Obviously, they'd forgotten to put the fuses back so no power past the converter. Can't say how relieved I was. Done Rite RV made a miserable week end much, much better. Btw, the charges were reasonable. read more

Customer Service is not Dead!!! Done Rite RV Mobile Repair was absolutely great to work with. We pulled our travel trailer into Missoula, MT on the way to Butte and realized there was something wrong with our LP Gas system (we smelled propane at the tanks). We contacted Done Rite and they took care of our problem and were fast and professional the entire way. It turned out to be a small repair and Mark was done in less than an hour and a half. Jerilyn was great on the phone and worked around out sightseeing. Not being from MT, I am certainly not use to the excellent level of service we received but truly appreciate it. This place is amazing. I called because my RV slide-out was binding up. I was sure I was going to end up in the middle of no where and the slide wouldn't move in or out. Not sure I can say enough good things about this company and the people that work there. We have what I would call an upper end Rv that is a 2018. We are full time in it for a a couple years and are about 4 months in. Anyway, the hot water heater stopped working about a week ago and anyone who has ever had to have work done on an RV knows what a pain it can be ... weeks to get the most basic repair done...just not an option when you live in your Rv. I called Jaralin last Friday and explained the situation and told her we would be in the Missoula area on Saturday and be staying for a week. She called my manufacturer for me, set up a claim and arranged for a technician to come out to our site to evaluate and repair the hot water heater. Spoke with her on Saturday when we arrived in Missoula...yes Saturday! Told her my sight # and she said they could probably get out here Wednesday or Thursday...which was awesome in my book. In the meantime...on Sunday our AC broke...and it's HOT. I call first thing Monday morning and speak with her again and explain the problem. She said give me a minute and let me see if I can rearrange some things. She called back in a half hour and said they would be here tomorrow between 12 and 2. WOW! Almost unheard of in this industry. Not only was she very professional and pleasant, but being very familiar with where we were staying suggested several places to check out and hot spots to fish...yes. She told me about some great fishing spots!!! Can't say enough good things about her. Absolutely awesome. The tech (Mark),showed up shortly after noon and had the hot water heater and ac fixed in less than an hour. It was nothing major on either, but he knew right where to look and how fix. He was also very professional and courteous. The price was very reasonable and every point of contact with them was absolutely AWESOME!! They took a really horrible situation and made it much more tolerable. If you are EVER in need of Rv repair, and don't call them, there is something wrong with you. After picking up our fifth wheel there was an appreciable difference between the quoted estimate and the actual bill, which I reluctantly paid. The repairs were completed on time which I appreciated, however, not the unexpected increase which was nearly double. Mark (owner) contacted me and negotiated the bill "down" which was very close to the estimated cost. This was totally unexpected. I so appreciate his honesty, business ethics, and integrity. The front furnace on my rig stopped working. Between You Tube videos and a mobile repair guy in Butte I'd already spent money and replaced pieces - enough to know that whatever was not working would take more. The big RV sealer in town couldn't handle it for a month - but these folk had me scheduled the day after Labor Day. I was out within an hour with a new circuit board and a working furnace. Along the way they were friendly, thorough and conversational. I might consider letting every pile up until next year when I'm back in the area - these folk are that good! read more

I was completely pleased with the work that Done Rite Rv did on our 30' 5th wheel roof replacement. Mark did additional work that was not in his estimate at no charge. He took time to patch our roof so we could use it during the summer until he could get it into his shop. He also winterized our 5th wheel at no extra charge. He made multiple trips to our location in Stevensville to work through the project. This was a big job by anyone's standards and Done Rite RV was completely up to the task.
