After that, I received the email, what I found particularly disappointing was the tone of the email. I felt that I was being unnecessarily pressured to sign a release form, and the wording of the email made it sound as though I was causing difficulties for them. It came across as if I were the problem, when I was simply following through on my decision not to renew the policy. I believe the agency should review how its staff communicate with customers and ensure that they have the proper knowledge and training. The agent I spoke with on the phone was not professional and seemed inexperienced, and the email I received felt dismissive. My overall experience with the agency, including a previous situation which was unable to assist me with my request or provide a solution, has been disappointing. That is the reason I chose not to continue with this agency. I was not satisfied with the communication, professionalism, or customer service I experienced. We pay the california premium rates but the coverage is treated at the national average - which is ridiculous, unfair and deceptive. Wen Ling and Pearson - have answered our calls ONCE in the past 2 weeks regarding this whole process. They email us at 5pm saying we will call tomorrow - right as their offices close. In addition, our insurance coverage allows for a rental car when your insured car is unavailable due to covered issues - the daily limit is $50. There is not a single car rental place in the bay area that is renting out ANY car - economy, compact, whatever - for less than $60 before taxes. What's the point here?

Aside from noticing that they seem to skimp when dealing with tow companies. Like every time we've needed a tow it has been an absolute nightmare, including 4 hour average wait times. But the real reason for my review is the following: we recently added a new car to our policy and it shot up from $250/mo range to $650/mo. Now I was not advised of this until it was too late and my autopay had gone through. And this is because they were all off for like 3 weeks for the holidays. Now first of all, who is going to pay $7500/yr for auto insurance ? Secondly though, how can you not advise a client of this increase ? If you have time to issue the policy, find the time to reply to emails and give a price. And why would we, a family with homeowners, umbrella, and already 3 cars insured, have to pay this much/mo ? No claims, nothing. And the real kicker is that we can't be reimbursed because we don't have evidence of other insurance going back to that time ? Seriously ? They are simply not taking care of their clients. Don't go here. A consolation, Simone ended up helping us out and at least left a decent note on the experience.
