Angel, my instructor, always promptly arrived 5+ minutes earlier than the scheduled time, and was extremely professional, encouraging and helpful. Under his instruction, I went from being extremely anxious to ready to drive on freeways and LA streets and take my exam. My actual DMV driving exam was extremely traumatic but I still passed the first time, and everything Angel reviewed with me was highly applicable. Thank you so much to Angel for being such an amazing and empathetic instructor, and I would highly recommend checking them out especially since they're a bit cheaper than the other driving schools in the West LA area!

Because It would be my third time after having bad experiences from previous exam preparations with another driving school that lots of people suggested the school to me. I don't have a car, and friends who have a car that I can practice with. I also had exam anxiety, because I failed twice before I met Westwood Driving School. Since from the beginning, everyone who works for Westwood Driving School is a friendly and professional attitude. When I explained my bad experiences about another driving school and with my friends' car, I talked to Laura on the phone, and she listened to me with patience and helped me to book for a lesson with Eduardo. After the lesson, Eduardo explained my mistakes on the paper, also on the road. He was calm and explained every detail for safe driving with great tips very well. At no time did we blame the instructor, however we wanted the school to know so that another student wouldn't fail. Instead of accepting the feedback Abraham became defensive, stated that within 6 hours not all could be taught, etc. Yes, I agree that not all can be taught in 6 hours, however something as big as when to use the center lane was big enough to cause my daughter to fail. Abraham minimized the feedback and stated an assumption was made that the instructor didn't teach our daughter. So he called my daughter a liar and our feedback as being a lie. Most companies would acknowledge the feedback and see how they can improve, if needed, their services. Not with A-1. We did not ask for a refund, extra classes or anything additional. We just wanted them to know about an important lesson that should be taught. Abraham do better next time! Nice try Abraham! Still can't accept that you handled both conversations poorly .
