My father died in October during the Pandemic. The services, funeral and pre planning ran very…read moresmooth and with Covid precautions in place. The problem was when it came time to picking up my father's ashes. My sister and I both called several times to make sure we didn't need an appointment. We were having his ashes separated and bringing our own containers. I called the morning of our planned pick up to check again and was assured we could come any time before closing time. I took off work as did my 3 sisters, went as a family to buy containers, and after picking up my 80 old mother we arrived at the funeral home to pick my father's ashes. When we got there we were told there wasn't anyone who could separate the ashes on premise and we would have to come back the next day. When I pushed it and reminded the person we had specifically called about needing an appointment, and we were assured over and over it wasn't needed she snottily answered "I was expecting you earlier and I told you that we could do it if we weren't busy." (Which she did not and I told her we would be there late afternoon). So we were rudely dismissed and we left without our father. I had to go get him the next day, by myself with no support system and all of us found it very painful and traumatic. I will not use their company for services again and I find the handling of this horrible.
