All they are is contracting work to other companies and not standing behind anything they promise. The president of the company even told me that they couldn't hep me and said he would annul our contract. Then he stopped answering his phone and had his collection agency try to squeeze all the money for the rest of the year from me after only doing 3 months of work and almost destroying my web presence. The sales people are just trying to get you to sign to an agreement and will basically tell you whatever you want to hear. It's pathetic and a sad business taking advantage of hard working business people.

I was approached by Clever Consulting group Inc by means of a Sales Rep who walked into my…read moreshop.They were offering Consulting services and credit card services, that we didnt have to pay for up front. Being a small business owner I was very skeptical. I delayed making any arrangments until I felt more comfortable. I agreed to meet with them at their office which is 4 doors away from my shop. I listened to the sales pitch and saw their operation, they baited me with a job potential with a local church. I refused to sign anything until I did some research. After doing so. I decided If they signed a notarized statement giving me the flexibility to cancel then I would try it for 90 days as promised for free and they did Jan 23, 2019. I signed a contract over the phone for their financing company to pay them the money Jan 25, 2018. For their first meeting the consultant showed up late and brought a scratch pad a took some scribbled notes and left. I was not impressed. I called to cancel because it was so flighty. Th owner convinced me he would give me a proper meeting. I agreed to his effort. he showed up with a better presentation. However they failed to let me know originally I would need to provide them with $199 fee in order to execute the financing, but they would refund the money immediately. I signed on that friday, I paid them $199, they told me I would get a check from them on the folowing Monday. I received the check on moday and deposited it, and it bounced. Terry Dorsey paid the bounced check back to me in cash. I then received a letter a week later stating I needed to insure a credit card terminal, which i didnt have at the time, or i would need to pay the comapny $25/mth in order to have the terminal. I was furious because I was not in formed prior, So I cancelled again. they agreed to the cancelation by letter. I am still being charged monthly by the finace company, and they wont return the money they received. They did nothing and kept the money. Avoid at all cost they don't even derserve 1 star.
