I honestly have never had such a great mechanic experience…read more I took my car in for some suspension work, but also had a few other things that needed looked at. I had been taking my car around to a few different shops in the area, and wasn't really having any luck, so I was pretty exhausted by trying to explain everything, but right away, they were just like "we'll just do a full inspection of everything!" I wasn't fully confident that they'd catch much (as other shops had not been able to catch anything going on). I took the car in right as they closed on a Wednesday, and by like 10am the next morning, I was sent a link to TekMetric - an app they use to document their entire process, including photos, diagnoses, and individual notes from the tech. The total on the repairs was MUCH higher than I anticipated, and I was a bit freaked out, but when I called them, I spoke with the person who inspected my car, and we went through each item individually over the phone, and discussed what was immediate safety concerns, things I SHOULD do but could get away with, and things that are more preventative measures that will need to be addressed down the line. They were very upfront with me about the timeline, which was a very quick turnaround. I've seriously have never been so impressed with a shop before. Their labor cost per hour was a little bit higher than what I saw from other local shops, but honestly, for this level of service, and how confident I was moving forward with the work, it was worth it.

Honesty, integrity and great service!…read more We thought we had a pretty bad gouge out of our plastic bumper. It looked to us like something had dug out a deep scratch. We hoped maybe they could fill it in and paint it over to at least make it look ok. Great service: they gave me an appointment time, and Derek was standing with me looking at the car within 5 minutes of my arrival. Honesty & integrity: he said "let me get the paint off to see how bad it is". He came back with a solution, rubbed the spot, and it wasn't a gouge at all. It was gone. I offered to pay him for the clean up (feeling a little silly to be honest) but he said no problem! If something really happens to the car I'll be back there for sure, and I recommend it for anything you need.

1 Star - Very Disappointing Experience!…read more I am extremely disappointed with B&L Automotive. I honestly do not understand how this business has received so many positive reviews based on my personal experience. The high ratings make me question how accurately they reflect the customer service and quality of repairs. My vehicle still has the same noise issue that I originally reported, along with several other problems that were never properly addressed. I have tried contacting Liz multiple times, but she has not responded. What is especially frustrating is that communication seemed to stop after the insurance payment was received. I trusted this business to repair my vehicle professionally, but instead, I have been left with unresolved problems and no meaningful follow-up. I cannot speak for other customers or the authenticity of their reviews, but my experience has been completely different from what the high ratings suggest. I strongly encourage potential customers to be cautious, carefully inspect their vehicles after repairs, and make sure all issues are resolved before considering the job complete. I wish I could give zero stars. I would not recommend B&L Automotive based on my experience.

The dealership charged me $550 for an oil change, while Autohaus would have performed the same service for approximately $250. I also had my front and rear brakes replaced, along with an alignment, and saved well over $2,000 compared to the dealership's estimate. Gary and his team of highly skilled technicians did an outstanding job. Their expertise, honesty, attention to detail, and fair pricing are exactly what you hope to find when servicing a high-end foreign vehicle. The work was completed professionally, on time, and with excellent communication throughout the process. It is refreshing to find an independent shop that delivers dealership-quality service at a fraction of the cost. I trust Autohaus completely with my Porsche and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service on European luxury vehicles. Five stars are not enough. On Wednesday, May 12, 2026 I reached out to Logan Square Auto Repair to get a "free estimate" on my…read more2019 Lincoln MKC to replace the rear trailing arms. I provided them with the information requested and was sent a text with the estimate. I then asked about the Costco 15% voucher and a time to bring the car in for repair. Their responds was I needed to bring the car in to the shop for a physical inspection to provide an accurate estimate. I brought the car to you on Friday May 14, 2026 asking for the estimate on the trailing arms and inquired about the dash board lights. They asked for 2 hours of time to prepare this. I received the estimate for the repairs along with an inspection report and quotes for 17 other "issues", I did not request an inspection of any kind. When I return to retrieve the car and finalize the repairs I ask a couple of question, first will they honor the Costco voucher and timing to have the repairs completed. Here are my challenges with the transaction, I had temporary access to these estimates and was locked out once I paid the fee of $81.00 ($77.,25 actual debit transition), your website states a free estimate but you charged me and then restricted my access. The garage has a deal with Costco to take 15% off the total bill but when asked I was told you would take 10% on part and 15% on labor. The texted estimate was $1610.00 prior to me asking about the Costco discount and the realtime estimate was $1750 as I recalling only being able to view it prior to lockout. Most concerning was your raid silent when I called to follow up on Saturday as requested by you, I called around 8:30 AM , followed up with a text at around 11 AM and another at 2:15 PM and as on this email there has been no response. The work has been completed by another garage and its is worth pointing out in this review it was completed at a cost of 1/2 what Logan Square Garage was going to charge me. Damage was severe enough that the car had to be towed. Fortunately, no one was injured. Fast forward roughly four weeks and I reclaimed my car today. It was exactly what I expected: impeccably repaired with a paint job--thanks to master painter and WBS owner Danny Avalos, Jr.--that matched the original finish perfectly. While four weeks seemed overly long, my insurance company's adjustor and appraiser were responsible for most of the delay. Throughout the process, shop manager Eric Villa keep me apprised. I later asked for clarification because I was concerned about whether the original problem had actually been diagnosed. During that conversation, I was told that the body computer/module was not responding and that this was something different from what was happening when I brought the car in. When I tried to explain that I simply wanted to understand what was wrong with my vehicle and whether he was confident in diagnosing and repairing the electrical issue, he became upset and told me that my questions were making him uncomfortable. He then told me he would have my vehicle ready at 8:00 AM and ended the phone call. A better mechanic PAID for my car to be towed to his shop at 8 am the next day. As a customer, I don't think it is unreasonable to ask a mechanic what they diagnosed, what caused the problem, what repair is being recommended, and whether they are equipped to perform that repair. I was not trying to argue or disrespect anyone. I was trying to make an informed decision about my own vehicle. My biggest concern throughout this experience has been the lack of clear communication and explanation regarding the diagnosis. I would have appreciated straightforward answers instead of feeling like my questions were being treated as a problem. I am leaving this review based on my personal experience and the communication I received during this repair. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ‼
