Had a great time rafting with Josh, Hunter, Iz, Rob and Colin. These guides were easy-going, knowledgeable, helpful, and overall entertaining during our rafting trip on the Cache La Poudre river in Ft. Collins. From check-in to the bus-ride to the rafting itself was a great experience with the whole staff at A1 Wildwater Rafting. I highly recommend them for a great day on the river.

This was our first time whitewater rafting and we absolutely LOVED it! Tyler was our guide and he was professional yet kept us laughing. His knowledge of the Poudre River was outstanding. This company will leave you smiling and satisfied. TEAM TYLER!!!

We had our white water adventure this morning. I have been on many white water trips, but this one takes the cake by FAR! Our guide, Rock, was great and very personable. When my sister fell in the water he was quick to take action and get her to safety! This was the most fun, most exciting trip! We haven't stopped talking about it since getting back to our VRBO. 10/10 recommend, and ask for Rock!

S/O to MaTT our tour guide! What a great experience and the tour guide made things so much better for all that were rafting for the first time. Did the (Wild Scenic Canyon Rafting) about 2 1/2 hours on the river. The staff goes over Quick- Simple safety instructions. Instructions on how to to raft if you've never done it before which is very helpful. Went the last weekend of the tour/river that was available for this tour- since they were getting ready to close the white water rafting for the season. Low tide, and a lot of rocks, but plan to attend next year for an adrenaline rush In May Or JUNE! (Higher water seasons) Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and I am recommending this activity anyone. Especially those who have never done it before!

    Our awesome guide Andy!

Pros: The group booking process was easy and the staff was super friendly and accommodating for our big group. Upon arrival the presentation was organized and thorough, especially the video that covers all of the safety instructions. Shop is big, with two restrooms and a comfortable outdoor seating area which is nice, as we waited almost an hour before getting on the bus. The guides were fun and energetic, especially Grace who engaged our group of teen girls and got them hyped up on the bus ride for the trip, banging their paddles on the bus roof! Everyone had positive feedback and was happy with their first rafting experience through RMA. Cons: We did a level 3 trip and it seemed a bit calm. Not too many "rapids", water level was low, and the two legs of the trip we made seemed short, under an hour each. Towards the end of the trip I asked if we could have some time for the girls to swim in the river the head guide abruptly said no and that we were out of time (likely because a raft had overturned and we spent 15 mins+ docked and waiting for them to regroup). Would have been nice to have maybe used that time to swim instead of just sitting in our rafts. Oh well. Overall, our group was happy with our trip and all said they're ready for a level 4. I would def recommend RMA for your group adventure, assuming most trips are the same duration. I'm especially thankful to Grace for making it so fun and memorable for our softball girls. Thanks guys!

It was 3 of us, including my 8-year-old son, and the conditions couldn't have been better--just a little snow, some mud, and plenty of opportunities for big splashes (which my son absolutely loved). We did a 5-hour rental, which felt like the perfect amount of time to explore without feeling rushed. The equipment was in great shape, and even the truck used to haul the ATV and trailer to the trailhead was well-maintained--everything felt professional and dialed in. The team really made the experience stand out. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic, and Andrew in particular was a superstar--he handled both checkout and check-in, made everything easy, and clearly cares about making sure customers have a great time. Everyone working here was friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations for what trail to choose. They suggested we log in to CoTrex so we had access to the off road trail, which was very helpful. It was an expensive option and included a driver and personal guide and 2 nights accommodation. However, it the itinerary sounded very good so we decided to spend the extra money and have such luxuries. However, it was completely not worth the money and the trips that were included were very average and we could easily have arranged ourselves once there. Plus the personal guide (Giovanni) was very complacent and really explained very little to us, especially when we saw other guides there who were much more engaged and knowledgable it seemed than ours. Furthermore, there were a number of things that were set out in the itinerary that did not materialise - we had an inferior vehicle than the one promised to us, we were supposed to have private transportation all the time but this was not the case, things went wrong and we had no apology, some pf our tours were not private at all even though they were sold as such. The bottom line is that this company will promise you one thing and charge you a fortune for it and then deliver something inferior and they think that is perfectly acceptable. They market themselves as one of the best tour companies in CR but this is very far from the reality we experienced. They are very expensive and you get very little for your money. It is also not necessary to have private guides and pre book activities through agents for CR - it is easy to do so yourself and you will save yourself at least 50% by doing so.

Sarah picked us up at Stonebrook Resort, where we were staying, at 5:10 a.m. Since it was early on Memorial Day, we did not need to pay an entrance fee or schedule timed entry into the park. Sarah took us up to Many Parks Curve and pointed out the numerous peaks in the distance to the northwest while describing various points of interest below. The sun rose quietly in the east, making the entire experience peaceful and beautiful. She drove us as far as Rainbow Curve, where the road was closed, then walked us farther up the road so we could take in additional views. Throughout the trip, Sarah shared local history, explained natural events over the past century that have shaped the park, and answered our many questions. We were also lucky enough to see several bull and cow moose near their calves, bull elk, bighorn rams, and even a Colorado pika. The tour lasted approximately three hours and ended back at our lodging. We highly recommend Sunrise Tours of Rocky Mountain National Park to anyone looking for a quiet, memorable experience of RMNP in all its natural beauty. Sarah was an amazing and knowledgeable guide, and her insight, warmth, and familiarity with the park made the tour even more special.
