Just stopped for lunch after reading other yelp reviews. Was absolutely not disappointed. They are very much using the kitchen while they are building it, but the food is fantastic and the people are very nice. We had samosas and paneer pakora. Both were great but the pakoras were the best I have had. Fabulous batter, perfectly fried. The Dal Makhani and garlic naan were delicious together. The dal was wonderfully spiced and buttery. Can't wait to come back again as they continue to make this truck stop one of the best places for Indian in Indiana. read more

Well with much skepticism I finally made the trip .. I have to say I knew nothing of what to order so with the hell of the owner I settled on a chicken dish with a red gravy and rice with some type of bread, I have no idea what was in the spices, but it was very powerful and it was absolutely delicious. I do know the bread was fried on the steel top grill with some white rice... with everybody the flavor was so powerful and delicious . I'm not much into the constant talking from their country In the background speaker playing so I was so concerned illl admit but it worked out .. ps my upbringing and culture definitely is different from those, but I was impressed with the food and flavor .. I will definitely return.and recommend this establishment. The only negative thing I can say is going into this type of establishment which used to be a huddle house which feels like I'm in a truckstop which partially is definitely needs a makeover for a food establishment.. read more

It's really nice to see an Indian restaurant in Scott County. I've been there a few times and the food is outstanding. I recommend the Nam bread to go as a side dish or just to go get for snacking. Food is great but imyhe time estimates they give and that DoorDash gives are significantly off. Everytime they say 20 minutes it usually takes about an hour for them to finish the food. On the other hand the food if pretty great. My favorite combination is the Butter Chicken with garlic naan and rice. read more

The food is good, but.. the portion sizes suck for how much they make you pay. If you were to order 3 main courses, you'd be served 3 side dishes. My dog gets fed more than the famine rations we were given here. And you'd think everyone would get their own platter of rice, but we only got a small plate of rice. FOR THE ENTIRE PARTY. You aren't even given entire drumsticks, you get 1/3 of a drumstick with your meal. We had to pay 60 dollars for 3 "courses," (side dishes) which is insane for the bits and pieces we were served, And don't even think about ordering a mango lassi... or anything for that matter because theh don't have half of their menu. Anyone that follows my reviews, knows I can't say no to Indian food. So when my Indian friend told me about this place (located in the middle of nowhere), I was skeptical. Their goat curry was excellent as was their butter chicken. They make their own bread and it shows. We were there on their second day and service was great. The restaurant is clean but old style. What we had was perfect and I look forward to experiencing more dishes there. read more

We went to this restaurant yesterday. It was awesome. besst allo paratha I have ever had. We ordered alloo paratha, very good. samosa, excellent chole bature excellent and mango lassi awesome.We also got chicke I forget the name. We alsog got garlic naan and rice. We were very disappointed with the quality of food and the service we received. Our meal for 3 people was almost $60! We wanted to support local and try something new, but our experience was awful. I was served a pile of bones with very little meat. The portion sizes were very small for $15 a person. My husband got 3 pieces of lamb in his briyani and a pile of rice. My husband asked the waiter for something not spicy, and what he was served burned him up! Still has all the old Huddle House decor on the walls and plates were gross, pitted, and stained, my husband scraped food off of the corner of one of the plates we were given (that we didnt use). After using the parking lot, my car is going to need new shocks! We will not be back. read more

Very good saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, paratha. It's right by the highway and so easy to get to. Yes it's attached to a gas station but they are fully separated by two doors and a hall. It feels like a regular restaurant inside and is not loud. I've had good service from the same young man every time I stop there. He told me they make their own bread in house. read more
