Too difficult to do business with…read more I traveled a bit out of my way to visit this location because they were the closest authorized dealer that had the 2XL Big Green Egg in stock. I spent time with the owner and we agreed I would follow up via phone or email with the base and accessories I wanted. Unfortunately, after calling three times (each time he was unavailable) and emailing with no response, I decided to return in person the following week. The owner wasn't there, and the employee present seemed more interested in closing up for the day than helping me complete the order. He gave multiple excuses for why he couldn't help. In the end, I traveled a bit farther to the next nearest Platinum Big Green Egg dealer and was able to place my full order in under 10 minutes.

Communication time has been reasonable and this is the chimney company I would personally prioritize in this area currently. They focus on parts being replaced only when absolutely necessary and will start/consider repair, the context of the situation, and be transparent with you. They are really good at explaining why you might or might not have a choice in your chimney situation with the work completed on it.

Could improve across the board. My experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch sales approach…read morecombined with poor customer service. I visited the showroom and found a hot tub I was interested in purchasing. The following day, I called ready to move forward based on the pricing and details I was originally shown. However, once financing was discussed, the terms changed. The advertised package originally included an electric cover, but I was told that if I financed the purchase, the cover would be removed and pricing/specifications would change. What made the experience frustrating was that the website promotes financing, but the final offer did not match what was originally presented. It also felt like pricing was being adjusted above manufacturer retail while still being marketed as a "sale." As a customer, transparency and consistency matter. If a product is advertised at a certain price with included features, those terms should remain clear regardless of payment method. The experience reminded me of seeing a car at one price and then being quoted something different when you're ready to buy. Disappointing experience overall.

PLEASE STAY AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS NIGHTMARE…read more This business took a $4,607.71 deposit from me 90 days ago for a 28 to 42 day lead time item. It does not matter how many times I call, I have not once received a return phone call since providing my payment. The phone mostly rings to no answer. The couple times I have reached someone I was told the manufacturer is having substantial delays and they cannot get any update from them - I received feedback from the manufacturer within 24 hours saying my experience with this dealer is not normal and I also cross checked with two competitors (oh how I wish I had done that back in November) and have gotten 2 week lead times quoted for the same stove from both of these other businesses. Upon learning this information I requested a refund but you can imagine how that is going. I even picketed the store front for an hour and forty five minutes today and still cannot get a return phone call or any movement on my refund - THEY JUST DO NOT CARE!!!

Unfortunately, with the 6 week install estimate and other delays, I'm past where I can get results via my credit card provider. Stay away from this company. Apparently, there is a new owner and the service of 30 years ago that was excellent is gone and out the window. You will notice that all the good reviews for this place are greater than two years ago. The new owner, Kevin, seems to have acquired the business about 2 years or so ago and that's just about when all of us started having negative experiences. If others are interested in filing in small claims court and reaching out to the local news stations with me, as well as doing some picketing of this place, please reach out to my email at annirbas@yahoo.com. We have got to stop this person from taking advantage of us. Matt R, please reach out to me if you see this. UPDATE 2025-03-11: After several in person visits to the Dreifuss showroom and being VERY CLEAR on what I expected (a full refund), I was finally given a full refund on March 7. Kevin kept indicating he was not sure when he could process the refund but that he would "as soon as he was able." That still was not good for me, so I kept pressing everytime I spoke to him or saw him. I must admit, I thought it would take much longer than it did to be provided with a refund. I would suggest that others also reach out and file claims with the Attorney General's at https://www.attorneygeneral.gov/submit-a-complaint/ so that it can be on record and this place can maybe be monitored to make sure it performs within the guidelines of the law and other consumer protection benefits that we, the consumers, are entitled to.
