DON'T HIRE ALOYSIUS!! I hired Aloysius for a second job and I am so disappointed! There was some drywall patchwork that needed to be done as well as installing a wall mount for a flat screen TV. The drywall patchwork was horrendous!! The painters were coming the next morning so the walls were painted as he had left them. Aloysius promised he would come back after the painters to correct his work and finish hanging the flatscreen TV. I paid him for the job because I had such a good experience the first time, I trusted he'd come back and correct his work. I have reached out to Aloysius SEVERAL times with NO response. The job was never finished and I have horrible looking walls from his shotty work!! I will never hire him again! BEWARE!! read more

* POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND JOB DONE INCORRECTLY* I support black owned businesses. This one I will not support again. I contacted the owner through the website for services to have my son's loft bed put together. There wasn't an option online to provide the description.. we scheduled for that day which the owner had to reschedule for the next day. I did tell him that my son has already started before he came. The next day he was more than 30 mins late to the time he suggested and I agreed to. He finally gets there (my son already tried to start but wasn't successful) all pieces were available minus two screws which he said he would work without. I agreed. He got the bed together. It took longer than he quoted. Once he finished he said that he couldn't put the shelves on due to a defect of the parts to the bed. I didn't question him because he "is" the pro. And I was in a rush to pick up my son because I was late due to the owner being late. I paid him he left. I was finally able to complete the rest of my son's room when I took a look at the bed and what he mentioned. I noticed that he put the bed together incorrectly! There were two pieces swithced. I then contacted him asking that he come back and fix it or reimburse to accommodate me having to either pay someone else or not have the shelves attached which was part of the price of the bed. I sent four messages and received no response. I messaged his business page twice and his direct number twice. Almost two weeks pass and no response. Today I sent a refund request for the payment (people respond to money) as he declined it and finally responded to my messages. All I asked for was an answer. A yes or no. So I could proceed with getting it corrected by someone else. He didn't have the common courtesy to respond when his work was completed incorrectly but also tried to throw a jab at me by mentioning the state of my seven year old son's room (which wasn't in any condition other than his mattress and box spring and the pieces to his bed) and continued to blame me for his poor customer service and his less poor workmanship. The $150 I paid him was nothing. It's the principal. I'm a very nice and very supportive customer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND a1dvanced services and will not be using him again. He lacked the skill of reading the directions obviously and has poor customer service from the beginning. This was my first negative review and hopefully my last as I try to settle any grievances with the businesses without public knowledge. In the end... I was not given a refund, he didn't come to fix his mistake, and wasn't accommodated in any way along with the jabs he tried to take. read more

Aloysius just mounted 2 televisions for us. He ensured the work was to the highest standard and even left to purchase the correct equipment for installation through our walls with steel studs and a metal plate. He provided a wire containment kit and even offered to return after we purchase a floating shelf. Great service!! read more

I needed a painting hung on an interior concrete wall and didn't own a hammer drill (nor was I entirely sure what a "hammer drill" even was), so off to A1 I went. Aloysius was outstanding. He listened and asked me what I wanted in terms of positioning, centering, etc, then took the time to do the job right. Highly recommended! read more

Don't waste your time!! I found out about the service through a friend but after he came to mount my TV. He was suppose to come back and hide my wires along with mounting my floating entertainment center. HE NEVER CAME BACK & IGNORED ALL MY TEXTS AND DMs via Instagram. I was given excuses over and over as to when he would come back but never reached back out but was still positing about the work he recently did. This was the worst experience. Don't get the TV service either, I had the highest running internet (changed my whole package) & this service just buffered back to back. Texted him about that & he never got back to me. hard to support a business when they don't take their own work serious ! I will definitely be looking for better service once when I move into my home. read more

I heard about this company through a friend. I have to say I was anything but disappoint with their service. That were quick to respond and scheduling was super easy. I have been trying to get my nursery set up for months but being pregnant and putting furniture together by yourself is not fun.. especially when you get exhausted easily. They gave me an amazing deal and they were so friendly and quick you didn't even notice they were working hard to make my dream nursery come true. After a crib, dresser and baby monitor installation later I was finally able to set up my daughters stuff with out feeling overwhelmed.
