Joe did a great job evaluating the cause of my Mom's faculty furnace and used a simple fix to address the issue with the flame sensor. Working like a charm for another 20 years. Thank you Joe for ensuring my Mom is warm and comfortable this Holiday Season! read more

Amazing service. Owner was so quick to respond and show up. Fixed everything for such a reasonable price and was just a great person. The value and service was 110% what I expected. Problem was fixed within hours and we are happy customers. Thank you! read more

Joe installed a low profile duct system on an Eichler home + a heat pump system. The system works well and the are no issues. Joe is thorough, and he knows exactly what he is doing. The quality of work : 5 stars. However, it took Joe more than 2 years to complete the permit process. He did finally complete the permit after many repeated communication and delays. Over all review: 4 stars due to the long delay in the permit process. read more

I had Joe come over to re-route my condensate and build a dry well. What I like about Joe is his attention to detail and that he both explains what he sees and suggests improvement. I also asked Joe to tidy up my ducting, which turned out great. It now looks very tidy, the air flows more effectively and I have more room in the attic floor. He also documents the before and after which I as a home owner really appreciate. I'm attaching one before after. Finally, I think his pricing is fair and I'm very happy with the result, so I would definitely hire him again for future HVAC needs. read more

Jose is awesome! Woke up on the 4th of July sweating because our AC had broke down in the middle of the night. Though I hesitated at first, I was desperate and had Jose's number and I thought, you know what he might not be available, but he may know someone who is willing to do a holiday emergency call. I had called about 20 places at this point. Jose was nice enough to get out of bed in the morning and come to my house by 9am to fix our AC. He saved our 4th of July!! This is also during 2 week long heatwave in San Jose, so this quick repair was a lifesaver. He was quick and he even hosed down our unit. I will continue to work with Jose to keep our HVAC maintained and you should too! THANK YOU AGAIN JOSE! read more

Joe is an excellent guy. He replaced my Mom's furnace last year. His prices were great. He was patient with me and my family and gave my mom a senior discount (she's over 90). The job was done quickly, neatly and he had someone pick up the old furnace and other debris the next day. Thank you and sorry it has taken so long to post. Today is the first time a wrote a review! on Yelp! read more

Great value for money. Helped me remotely for a quicker resolution. Very honest and knowledgeable.

Jose helped disconnect and reconnect the AC compressor for us. easy to communicate and great work quality. very happy to work with Jose.

I reached out to Joe about relighting the pilot light of our floor heater, which involved going into the crawl space due to its unique configuration. He resolved everything quickly and made sure that the heater was operating properly. We are extremely grateful that he was able (and willing!) to come on the same day shortly after our call. He charged a very reasonable price. Joe is an honest professional and a kind, friendly guy. I enjoyed chatting with him and I also learned a lot about how this heater works from him. We will definitely reach out to Joe for any future HVAC needs and will recommend him to friends and colleagues! read more

Joe is amazing. I had an AC unit that was working sporadically. He came out to inspect, found the compressor had failed, and then adjusted his schedule to do installation of a new unit the same day. In the process, he also found a few other issues with my system that needed to be addressed. He sold me what I needed and didn't try to push anything I didn't need. His communication was amazing, his work was high quality, and his prices were reasonable. read more

I called Jose this morning at 9, he was here at 12:15, diagonosed the problem with AC unit, fixed it, and was gone by 12:30 and my AC is now cooling my house! Happy customer! Fast, efficient, and professional. HIghly recommend! read more

I contacted Joe on Yelp for assistance with thermostat installation after running into some difficulties while attempting to do it myself. He promptly answered to my request. Unfortunately, he was sick and couldn't come out to help, but he was able to advise me on what to do simply by exchanging a few text messages. I was grateful that he took the time to help me remotely. Very courteous and professional. I will undoubtedly employ his services again in the future. read more

I didn't go with A-Z (simply because another service was the fast to respond and can commit to going over in the afternoon) but I still want to write a review about A-Z Techs. The owner I assumed were conversing with me and told me it might be a capacitor issue. When I decided to go with another company he replied and reminded me to ask them to look at the capacitor. I really appreciate their professionalism and would recommend them! read more

He did an exceptional job. He was quick to respond, clear about what was wrong, what was needed, what our options are. He is professional and very very kind. We were glad that he had the time to help us with our broken hvac coil and leak. He solved the problem and we are all set again. We will definitely call A-z next time we need someone. read more

Quick, professional and affordable. I would recommend using this company if you need service.

Joe came, diagnosed the problem quickly, gave me a fair price, fixed the unit and left. Didn't try to oversell, didn't try to make up issues that didn't exist and best of all, no car salesmen tactic - just the way I like it. Thanks, Joe! read more

Our heater went out and I realized how much we took it for granted. We didn't have a working furnace for 3 weeks. I finally contacted Mr. Joe, the owner and he came out the very next day. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fix my furnace problem. He was very patient in explaining my HVAC unit to me and even taught me how to clear a clog drainage part. I will definitely use the info for other problems. The heater is working great. He took the time to make a follow up call to make sure everything was still in order. I highly recommend A-Z Techs Mechanical. read more

Joe arrived within the time frame he gave us. Joe did a great job fixing our heater. I highly recommend him.

Joe helped us with our air ducts as we had just moved in and found that all of the heating was being lost due to gaps and cracks in the air ducts. He was able to replace and repair them quickly and without mess. He was also able to help re-install ducts to the lower level that were removed by previous owner to put in cabinets! read more

Professional, quick and fair price. I never met a service person as friendly as Joe and he does an excellent job. He helped to replace an old wall heater with a new one, but when he did a test run, it didn't work. He quickly identified the problem was in the wire connecting to the control, and opened the baseboard, found the broken wire by a screw (a job done by the floor guy). He fixed the problem, tucked the wire in the gap between the floor and the wall, so no more screw in the baseboard can damage the wire. When his buddy didn't pick up the old furnace in a timely manner, he even refunded me for an apology. I wish every business is as honest and good as Joe's. I recommend this business with all my heart. read more

I saw a recommendation on another site for Joe and after having other companies out, who we felt were only focused on selling us a new system, I called Joe today. He and his co-worker came out within a few hours, did a review of our systems and provided recommendations that made sense without a complete system purchase. We authorized and they did the following - cleaned out the A/C unit, coils, fan, put insulation on one of the outdoor pipes, cleaned the inside unit coils, reviewed the duct insulation and reconnected a pipe in the system that had come undone. They did this with clear explanations as to what was needed and why. Did not try to oversell us - did make sure we were satisfied before leaving. Friendly, personable, professional and reasonable with their charges. I would highly recommend Joe and his team for a great customer and repair experience. read more

I had a water leak issue from our furnace. I had never had such issue before so I just wanted it repaired asap. I text Joe almost at midnight and he responded that he can be at my home between 10-11. He arrived the next day as stated. Checked furnace and explained and showed me what was causing issue. He fixed it all within an hr. I appreciated his quick response, and thorough explanation of issue as well as how to prevent future incidents. I will keep his contact handy and will happily refer him as dependable and honest. Happy to have found Joe and team! read more

Joe is a fantastic HVAC guy. He came out to inspect our AC which of course stopped blowing cold during the heat wave of July 4, 2024. Within minutes, he diagnosed the problem. Joe came out on short notice in the middle of a heat wave to fix my home A/C unit. He quickly diagnosed multiple issues with the unit and provided different options to fix them. I left a phone message and Joe called back in a short time. He was able to come in about an hour and a half. Was friendly, efficient, only took about 1/2 hour to fix my furnace. (Pilot light wouldn't stay on...no heat.) Joe was knowledgeable and efficient. I so appreciated that he got my heat back on, and in a very short time. His fee was very reasonable...much less than most of the others I contacted. (Others won't even work on a mobile home unit, or charge $135 dispatch fee...that's just a tech who diagnoses the problem. Not the tech that comes to fix it.) He said he had given me a discount since it was a fairly easy fix and didn't take long. I am a very satisfied customer. Will use A-Z Tech again, if needed. read more

Joe is the real-deal Christian Business man. Joe spent hours looking for the AC leak and then repairing my 20+ year old HVAC system. I've lived in the house 20 years and it was built abt 8 or 10 years prior so this HVAC is super old. Another company's estimate was more than double to pressure test and repair a leak however if the coil leaked then I would have to buy a whole new HVAC syatem said the other company. Joe saw my worry about money and he helped me out big big time. True Brother in Christ. Somehow I found Joe's phone number. Maybe Yelp? Other internet search or Next door? A God-thing? Joe answered and came by a few hours later today and now I am sitting in a nice cool home thanks to Joe. God Bless you Joe! I will pay it forward Brother. And thank you for bringing me the message that I needed to hear. read more

Joe was great. Responded right away, was flexible on schedule and arrived on time. He checked for all the inexpensive fixes first but eventually found my compressor was shot. Joe really went above and beyond. Our heater broke on right before the holidays and he wasn't working. He stopped by right before Christmas with his wife and kid in tow to see if he could fix it quickly but couldn't. He came out after the holidays and fixed it, for a VERY fair price.
