100% recommendable!!!…read more We have recently had our loft conversion completed (+ extra jobs) by M A Wilson Builders Ltd and we are really happy with the new space created. We had been worried about starting such a big project alongside working/living at home, but the team on site were very professional, friendly and always left the site clean and tidy each day. We were really impressed with the high-quality work of all the tradespeople that worked on our loft. Mark visited the site regularly and kept us updated with the progress at each stage. It was always easy to reach Mark with any questions or queries throughout (before, during & after) the work. As for the final price, it was always as initially agreed, and any extras that came up were communicated to us beforehand. From the moment you talk to Mark face to face you can see that he is an honest, transparent, and trustworthy person. We are really enjoying the new space- thank you (Gracias) Mark & all the team involved on our loft!. I hope to see you soon for our next project

MA Wilson carried out a loft conversion at our house. The price was very competitive and the work…read morewas carried out to a high standard. Mark guided us through all the 'red tape' that was involved in the build. The team were very approachable and we had a good rapport with them all. I have even made a new biking buddy in his brother sean! I have already recommended them to a friend, and if we needed work doing in the future they would be my first choice. (Just be careful what you say about the Seasiders to Michael the joiner, he's very protective over them!)

If I could go back, I would avoid Leon & Gulliver Builders at all costs. I have wasted 7/8 months…read moreof my life waiting for this company to start a job which never happened. After I awarded Leon the job over other contractors, he made me wait months to confirm a start date. He told me repeatedly to call him but then he didn't answer - I am talking way over 20 times. The start date arrives, I've been providing Leon updates by text (since he hasn't answered the phone) on the tradesman I've booked. No answer. I call Leon repeatedly during the day and I finally receive a text. The start date has arrived, my laborer's are on site and an electrician has come to disconnect a cable, and LEON IS IN TURKEY! "Sorry I'm on holiday" - on the date that he clearly gave me and made me wait MANY months for. At this point, his failure to turn up has cost me hundreds of pounds. No a single text beforehand, just flew away with a date clearly marked in the diary and no notice given. He tells me he will be back in around a week and so I look forward to the work commencing then. A week or so passes, I contact Leon again, and he texts me that he's now in IBIZA! It sounds like he's having a great time, but what about the clients he's taken on work for and is screwing over by not turning up to on agreed start dates without any notice given? Anyway, the third attempt at completing the work arrives and Leon provides a date of the 15th August. The start date arrives, the stone mason confirms Leon has not placed the order for the stone (which was in the agreement), I call Leon, and this time he says his wife is wanting a divorce and things have been bad at home since Friday. Well, it's Monday now, once again, no notice given and laborer's + electrician paid for on site by me. If he's having personal issues, why would that stop 2 brick layers or laborer's from coming to excavate? Removing a half-brick wall is hardly a complicated task, why would the owner of the company need to attend? Just more wasted time and money at my expense. I feel completely messed around - I gave Leon this job in good faith and it's cost me nothing but time and money working with him - he obviously does not care about his customers, communication or his business and is more concerned with going on holiday. It has been EIGHT MONTHS. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID. My patience was all for nothing.
