We had been worried about starting such a big project alongside working/living at home, but the team on site were very professional, friendly and always left the site clean and tidy each day. We were really impressed with the high-quality work of all the tradespeople that worked on our loft. Mark visited the site regularly and kept us updated with the progress at each stage. It was always easy to reach Mark with any questions or queries throughout (before, during & after) the work. As for the final price, it was always as initially agreed, and any extras that came up were communicated to us beforehand. From the moment you talk to Mark face to face you can see that he is an honest, transparent, and trustworthy person. Mark guided us through all the 'red tape' that was involved in the build. The team were very approachable and we had a good rapport with them all. I have even made a new biking buddy in his brother sean! I have already recommended them to a friend, and if we needed work doing in the future they would be my first choice. (Just be careful what you say about the Seasiders to Michael the joiner, he's very protective over them!)

I was tempted to employ Mr Hall by a quote that was considerably lower than the others that I had…read morereceived. He ground out and repointed the front and side of my semi-detached house in January 2014. Whilst his work on the upper brick courses was satisfactory, the lower brick courses were repointed to a very poor standard. There was a great deal of mortar staining to the bricks, there were some small gaps in places where the mortar had not been replaced and some of the bricks that had been replaced were not straight. Some bricks that should have been replaced were not replaced. Despite his many and repeated promises over the last 12 months to come back and improve his work, he has failed to do so. I will now have to employ somebody else to put things right. Employ Mr Hall if you want a cheap job but not if you care about how it looks afterwards!

Over a dozen promises of start dates - after they had taken a cash deposit but couldn't give a receipt for it as "the printer is out of ink" - and then disappeared for a fortnight. I eventually had to blackmail them into coming to do the job ("£200 worth of work in return for the deposit or the cash back"). The work they then did was substandard and shoddy. Have fitted three gutters to the house - ALL of which they have left leaking. And despite many phone calls - and yet more promises to turn up - the gutters are still leaking three months later. If that weren't enough, the guy put his knee through our garage roof and rain now absolutely pours through it. All because he was too lazy or incompetent to put a board down. We are on the point of reluctantly having to take court action to get our money back. Don't put yourself in the same position. Don't let these people near your property!
