Do not trust this company!!!!!!!!!!! Rena Thompson left the company owing over 4 months of payments for services rendered. Declines our calls and doesn't respond. Very Shady business going on.

Heitmann is amazing in the delivery room! He is very knowledgeable and informative. A very experienced dr & it shows. Super happy with how our delivery went and the care we received.

I showed up for my appointment last week and on the 50 min drive there I snagged my mask and tore it. When I got there I explained what happened and asked if they had any. The main receptionist said they don't normally give out masks and they were running low and that I had to leave, go get one, and then come back. She said we could easily reschedule since I'd most likely miss my appointment to hunt down a mast. Not taking into consideration my husband and I both missed work (this appt was special for my anatomy scan) to be there, and traveled very far to get there so it's not easy to reschedule over a 25 cent mask. Especially considering I am self pay and it costs me $300 for a 5-10 min ultra sound and 10-15 mins with the OB. Thankfully, a nice woman in the waiting room overheard my dilemma and gave me an extra mask she had. When I went back up to the counter the receptionist proceeded to tell me I missed my appointment. I showed her the 3 appointment reminder text messages I got all quoting 2:50 as my appointment time. She then told me that is to meet with the doctor and I had to be there 30 mins prior (2:20) for my ultrasound.... Despite all my reminders saying my appointment was 2:50. And all she would say was "we tell you ahead of time that the reminder is incorrect and to come early." Problem is I had to call and reschedule over the phone when I was sick and I am certain no one told me to "remember to come in 30 mins early on your next appointment scheduled 3 weeks away from today because we can't get our system to provide you with the proper time for your appointment." Funny thing is, I was certain I never had to do that on my previous appointments and I looked up last appointment history to see how I was reminded and I always received 2 reminders prior, one for the ultrasound time, and one for the actually OB appointment... they were so quick to blame me that there couldn't possibly be another explanation. And they weren't booking again until another 2 weeks out. I was so frustrated after missing work and driving far all to find out I would have to wait even longer to see my baby that I couldn't help but cry. I ended up moving to a new OB who could get me in sooner and the staff has been incredibly kind. If the staff at a Woman's place had just an ounce more compassion and thought about what it was like to be in their pregnant patients shoes I wouldn't be writing this. Next time an exhausted, pregnant mom misses work and drives almost an hour for an appointment- give her the damn mask if she happens to rip hers. And maybe fix the way your appointment reminders are set up for goodness sake.

This month we are back in the states (we flew in from New Zealand). I found a recommendation on Yelp for Dr. Thompson and was able to get an appt. with him on very short notice, and his fees were absolutely affordable for a "self paying" patient like me. All his staff were friendly and helpful and he was able to diagnose and treat and prescribe medicine for me, and I was on my way in less than one hour. He was everything you want in an ob- gyn doctor--competent, sensitive, kind, thorough, interested, and above and beyond that, affordable! All his office staff were great from the first phone call, making an appointment for a new patient, giving good directions, taking good medical notes, standing by during the exam and following up with lab results and additional Rx requests. Highest praises to Dr. Thompson and his office. I tried several other doctors' offices on the phone before I found YELP's recommendation, and I couldn't get an appointment for several weeks and they all cost a fortune for their services. I am grateful to YELP for your services and I am so happy to offer this review. Thank you. Gloria Smith

Since I moved to Florida 4 years ago, I have been Dr Amanda Schultz's patient and she has been…read morewonderful. I would always recommend her. Today, I had an appointment for my daughter for a well visit and birth control. We got two text messages confirming the appointment at 2:30 PM and both times replied yes to it. When we showed up, it was 2:40 PM, since my daughter's school did not let out in time. We were told that the appointment was at 2 PM and the doctor can't see her any more. After showing them the text messages from the office with the 2:30 PM times, they told us, that we should have been here 30 minutes before the appointment time... ???? They told us that they make it a priority to tell new patients that on the phone. Well, we were not made aware of that and I was not a new patient myself, so maybe the lady on the phone got that confused. The presumed office manager got up and went to talk to us telling us it is now 2:40 PM and Dr. Amanda does not have any time to see us today. I explained that I took off from work, got my little girl out of school early just to get to the appointment for my oldest daughter. The office manager said that another doctor might be able to see her. We were fine with that. I filled out the paperwork for my daughter and was called back in to speak to the office manager. Now she told me in a rude tone that this visit would not be covered by my insurance, because it was considered a sick visit not a well woman visit and she is not 18 yet. It would only be covered, if she was sexually active. It would be $300. Now, I asked her, if she really recommends me to reschedule a well visit after she is sexually active to get on birth control. That does not make a lot of sense to me. She went in the back to talk to a nurse and came back and said that now they can do the well visit and it would be covered 100% by my insurance. However, the birth control discussion would be an extra charge.... ???? Not as much as the original $300, but still a charge. I asked her to explain that as I was never charged extra during my well visit 4 years ago when I first got birth control prescribed. At this point, I knew the office manager just tried to charge me for something and I told her that her behavior was very rude. I will never come back to this office again with an office staff that treats their customers with such disrespect and clearly takes it in their own hands to come up with different charges. What is it now? $300? less? or 100% covered? We walked out and went right across the hall to another gynecologist office, where we were treated very respectfully from the entire staff.
