I wished I would've checked reviews and did my research before spending nearly half of my pregnancy with these quacks. This business model doesn't work. More and more younger woman are moving to the Naples area and are expecting good Healthcare, as we should... we pay ALOT of $$$ for it. My experience was awful. I wasn't given the time of day. Felt like the Doctors were rushing me out of their office. I had genuine concerns, being a high risk and my first pregnancy. Every doctor had a different opinion on my health. This is very confusing to navigate. My suggestion, the doctors should have a meeting once a week and get on the same page with regards to the care of their patients. If you guys need a consult on how to run a successful practice, let me know. But clearly making money is your only goal. A smart practice should take this opportunity, and buy these guys out. Needless to say, if it doesn't feel right, run for the hills. There are plenty of Doctors out there that actually care about the health of their patients, not just how many people they can see and bill in one day. Location - Good, except you never know what floor you're going to be on that day so arrive early to take the elevator when you waited in the wrong lobby for 10 minutes until the front desk tells you... Front Desk- usually nice Checkout Staff - could use attitude improvement Officer manager Kristell- super nice but unable to do much Dr. Miller - HORRIBLE - she will belittle you and your pain and problems and rub your mistakes in your face and push you very hard to workout (even if you're in so much pain you end up in the ER). Will do unnecessary surgery, and not prescribe enough pain medication for recovery because yoga and tylenol work for her so it must work for all. If you have an ovarian cyst go to the ER because she won't help you with that either. Dr. Heitmann - rude and dismissive. Will deny any treatment you request, including hormones, even though that's what they do, will ignore your labs because you're "in the range", you have to research everything yourself because he will offer no options or suggestions at all. He's awful at replying to your emails, but don't worry his office staff will forget for 3 weeks and then misspell every other word when they finally reply at your further prompting all while refusing to do common insurance requests for medication you had to research and ask, no beg, for, and then still deny anyway because "he doesn't like it". Even though he's a HE and can't take the drug himself, so yeah he doesn't like it. Bet it's because the drug rep didn't bring them lunch...? Unacceptable care and customer service. I was not taken seriously after I expressed my concerns about my hormonal health due to my current birth control, and symptoms of endometriosis. They only seemed concerned with keeping me on an effective birth control, with absolutely no regard for my actually hormonal and mental health. I had to make an appointment with another office because they refused to remove my nexplanon implant after I explicitly stated what I had been experiencing and why I felt it should be removed. After I explained my symptoms and why I was seeking diagnosis and treatment options for endometriosis, I was then asked if my husband was "putting it in too deep"...and wasn't given any further opinion. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone who has any genuine concern about their reproductive health. read more

I showed up for my appointment last week and on the 50 min drive there I snagged my mask and tore it. When I got there I explained what happened and asked if they had any. The main receptionist said they don't normally give out masks and they were running low and that I had to leave, go get one, and then come back. She said we could easily reschedule since I'd most likely miss my appointment to hunt down a mast. Not taking into consideration my husband and I both missed work (this appt was special for my anatomy scan) to be there, and traveled very far to get there so it's not easy to reschedule over a 25 cent mask. Especially considering I am self pay and it costs me $300 for a 5-10 min ultra sound and 10-15 mins with the OB. Thankfully, a nice woman in the waiting room overheard my dilemma and gave me an extra mask she had. When I went back up to the counter the receptionist proceeded to tell me I missed my appointment. I showed her the 3 appointment reminder text messages I got all quoting 2:50 as my appointment time. She then told me that is to meet with the doctor and I had to be there 30 mins prior (2:20) for my ultrasound.... Despite all my reminders saying my appointment was 2:50. And all she would say was "we tell you ahead of time that the reminder is incorrect and to come early." Problem is I had to call and reschedule over the phone when I was sick and I am certain no one told me to "remember to come in 30 mins early on your next appointment scheduled 3 weeks away from today because we can't get our system to provide you with the proper time for your appointment." Funny thing is, I was certain I never had to do that on my previous appointments and I looked up last appointment history to see how I was reminded and I always received 2 reminders prior, one for the ultrasound time, and one for the actually OB appointment... they were so quick to blame me that there couldn't possibly be another explanation. And they weren't booking again until another 2 weeks out. I was so frustrated after missing work and driving far all to find out I would have to wait even longer to see my baby that I couldn't help but cry. I ended up moving to a new OB who could get me in sooner and the staff has been incredibly kind. If the staff at a Woman's place had just an ounce more compassion and thought about what it was like to be in their pregnant patients shoes I wouldn't be writing this. Next time an exhausted, pregnant mom misses work and drives almost an hour for an appointment- give her the damn mask if she happens to rip hers. And maybe fix the way your appointment reminders are set up for goodness sake. read more

Dr. Clements and Dr.Krembs PA are amazing doctors. They listen, they ask questions, they really try to find out what is wrong and what is the root cause before shoving medicine down your throat. I love how they're so caring and so responsive. It's a really busy practice so if you're feeling something.. speak up. The office is clean, the main receptionist at the front is lovely. So sweet! The staff in this office have the worst attitudes toward patients. Phones are rarely answered. Medical records line is disconnected. The doctors are overwhelmed and one didn't feel comfortable doing a procedure. It was good they said that but still. Pretty basic. If you come from another state go back to your old doctor. I had an appointment with Vicki Traxler. I am nearing menopause and I wanted to do blood work and check all the things one would check for premenopausal woman. Everything was great up untill I told her that I had horrible experience with birth control pills I told her I have gained 25 lb in one month of taking it and years later I still can't loose that weight. I told her I don't want to do that again. As soon as I said that everything changed. She refused to do blood work after that. She said there is no point because I didn't won't to take birth control pills. It felt that her interest was not my well being. read more

I'm not sure if you were having a bad day back in October 2022 when I came to you for help or just annoyed that I didn't chose to get my BioTe pellets through you or you didn't want to be bothered since I was moving out of the area , which is completely Still MY right to choose. Meet and greet appointment with Christina Tzilinis.....this was my first appt at this facility and with Dr Tzilinis...it was supposed to be a consult to meet her and see if she could help with my hormone needs....to get the appointment took weeks to even get through, left countless voicemails, no return calls and once they answered I waited two months for the appointment. I asked for an approx cost of the consult and gave my insurance details and was quoted approx $200 with and $280 without. After seeing the dr for approx 15 mins.....chatting......I left with a scheduled appt for a follow up in a few months....then the bill arrived...... $360.....for 15 mins chat....so angry.....apparantely she coded me as med to high priority ???? so that means your bill is higher.......will never set foot on there again and I warn any of my female friends that might be thinking about going there.....absolutley shameful and daylight robbery... read more

I moved from Naples because I bought a house in Fort Myers but I still make the drive to see Dr. Parker because she is excellent. The staff are all amazing. They have the mammogram equipment and every piece of equipment needed in the building. There is no need to worry. I found a lump under my arm. Within a couple days I met with Dr. Parker for a tele health appt and then a mammo, ultrasound and pap. I called to ask for the medication for the cyst which Doc Parker offered because she looked at it over the computer with our speedy tele health appt. I changed my mind because I realized it may be a cyst like she thought. I had my mammo results in my inbox the next day. I honestly do not want to go into all of my concerns, mostly because I would be here typing for probably an hour or more to get those across. I will just caution any potential pregnant woman to not go here. Just trust me when I say I'm not even a woman and my experience was this awful just from being there a few times with my wife. My wife unfortunately had a worse experience with them and I'm also reviewing on her behalf. They do not care in the slightest about each person as an individual case. Every doctor dismisses every single concern my wife and I had with our first pregnancy and even postpartum. If I could give this place a 0 or Iower I would. I had twin babies in August of 2019. The whole experience from beginning to end was awful, but I'm a first time mom and didn't know what to do. At my first appointment they told me our twins were fraternal. They had separate placentas. That was not accurate, at birth there was only one placenta and with all of the multiple ultra sounds, no one caught it. One of my babies was getting less nutrients than the other ( risk if sharing placentas and again never caught). Dr. Clemens is a miserable human being and shouldn't be practicing medicine. First time I met her she went to listen for the heartbeats, but didn't even look at the chart and only listened for one. I had to remind her I was having twins. Second time I met Clemens, was a week before I went into preterm labor. I went into the birth place due to shortness of breath. I couldn't sleep, I was so out of breath. She dismissed my concerns and told me it was normal. She kept me in the hospital just to monitor my BP. That night I insisted something wasn't right and Dr. Clemens came in and reprimanded, told me to sleep sitting up. No one offered me oxygen all night. Come morning I brought it up again and Dr. Clemens told the nurses and I quote " because she doesn't believe me she's fine, let's do an EKG and chest X-ray." When the results came in everyone started running around and finally began to pay attention to me. They found fluid in my lungs. I had pneumonia. By this time I was running a fever and couldn't even get out of bed. Sunday morning, I went into labor and they were unable to stop it. My babies were born 8 weeks early and I left the hospital empty handed a week later ( they stayed in the NICU). After birth, I was given some extra big suite as if this would make up for their constant negligence. I will say Dr Holly Miller was my saving grace. She stepped in after Clemens left and was kind and helpful and I finally felt like someone there cared about our well being. She delivered our boys and they are doing awesome today! But please, if you're having a baby find somewhere else. To this day my heart aches when I think about that place and how I wish I would have chosen differently. I'm grateful someone was watching over us, because the ppl that are supposed to care ... don't. At least not at A Woman's Place. read more

I loved coming to my appointments but my labor experience was a nightmare! Dr Emily Clements was the worst doctor to have in the delivery room. She kept trying to scare me of a c section, after I refused pitocin and them breaking my water. At one point she told me if I don't start pitocin I will have to go home so I was ready to go home, and told her that, but then she said no she doesn't feel comfortable sending me home in my condition!! Her nurse was happily apart of her circus as they made me cry numerous times and I asked them to leave multiple times. This was my first baby and they completely ruined my experience in the delivery room/; if anyone knows how I can actually get someone important to see this complaint let me know, I don't think her behavior was a appropriate and I would like her to feel as uncomfortable as I did. Forget it go elsewhere, I was referred to Dr. Parker and it was a joke. I went there to get more information even if I wasn't going to go through any procedures with them, I would have at least liked to have left with some form of insight or knowledge rather than regret and back where I started. I waited two weeks to get in, just to wait 30 minutes in the lobby and have Dr. Parker not even want to deal or conversate with me. I was inside a total of 4 minutes and that's only because I kept asking questions, not because the doctor had any interest of sticking around. As a woman I searched for a female doctor to be able to understand me and want to help me rather than pumping me with hormones and pills like everyone else but no this is just another place and another doctor who has just lost the want to care about their profession. I understand that offices get busy and sometimes they run behind, BUT I should not feel rushed by the doctor and I should at least leave the office feeling somewhat satisfied and understand what's going on with my body. When I'm in the room, the doctor calls me by a different name or she says "wait you're not a new patient?" EVERY TIME. I've never had an issue with the front desk...the ladies there are nice. However, there was an incident of inappropriate touching by their male physician, and none of the staff listened (even my husband said he was extremely uncomfortable when this happened and knew what he did was inappropriate - and he knows nothing about OBGYNs!). I ended up transferring to a different doctor at 30 weeks pregnant because I felt so uncomfortable with my care. Besides the male physician, there were previous incidents of insensitivity while getting procedures done with one of the highly reviewed female doctors (of which I later found out was "rough"with patients - these patients were hers as well and have had procedures done as well). Overall, even having a generally uncomplicated pregnancy, I never felt heard or cared about at AWP. I cant imagine the struggle for parents who have more struggles throughout their pregnancy... if you decide to go here, proceed with caution. I will never be going back. read more

Was not a fan of a women's place. PA seemed very rushed and I was barely able to ask her some questions I had. Then she just walked out of the room and didn't say anything so I wasn't sure if I was finished or not. So after sitting there for a little I figured I was done and walked to a desk. I did not think it was very professional. Also said they were going to email me my portal information, never happened. Two weeks have gone by and I haven't heard anything from them. So I just called today and waited 17 minutes on hold! Needless to say I will never go back there. read more
