My insurance company called them to jump my car when it wouldn't start. He promptly called me with an ETA and arrived when he said he would. Had all the equipment he needed, was very friendly, and seemed quite knowledgable. When a jumpstart didn't work, he tried a couple other things and asked several questions trying to help figure out what was wrong. Ultimately he wasn't able to get my car running because it had some electrical problem, but I really appreciated his help and experience. It later turned out (after towing it to a shop) that a fuse was blown in my aftermarket security system but this is a pretty rare thing that he couldn't have been expected to know about. I couldn't have had a better experience with Anthony. After getting a screw in my Porsche's tire (718 GT4), I was looking for a trustworthy mobile service to replace the tire at my house. Anthony responded immediately, recognized it was a specialty vehicle, and told me his plan to take the wheel up to his warehouse where they have plastic tire removal equipment that wouldn't damage my wheel. He arrived at my house, removed the wheel and came back about 2 hours later with the fresh tire mounted and balanced, and even looked up the Porsche pressure and torque specs for my car. I was having difficulty charging the electric car battery and have not yet made it through the learning curve totally. As this is my first experience with driving an EV. They were dispatched to me by roadside assistance and refuse to change my tire to my spare because they tried to obligate me to pay for a patch on my tire that was total unrepairable in the area that the nail was in and I do not need to give them any sort of payment because they already getting paid by my insurance. I was connected with Anthony through State Farm roadside assistance, I had the battery light flickering on and off on my dashboard and it turned out that my alternator was no longer functioning and my battery was draining, I was half an hour away from home and had some other people with me and Anthony came and fixed the part right there on the side of the road. He came and checked the alternator with me and then when it was determined that it was broken he went and got the part and then came and installed it. Anthony saved my trip to San Francisco! I was driving from South Bay up to SF and ran into some kind of nail on the 101. I noticed when I started getting tire pressure warnings on my car, and it would drop 1 PSI every couple min I was driving. When I stopped, I could clearly see the nail in the right rear tire as well as the sound of the air coming out. The timing couldn't have been worse because I wanted to replace my tires anyways, but now I was worried that I would be forced to replace my tire on the spot. Keep in mind that this was on Saturday evening so a lot of shops were closed and would also be closed on Sunday. I tried calling my insurance for roadside assistance and they assigned me to a tow truck as I didn't have a spare for the car since I have run flats on. They assigned a place to get my car dropped off, but it was closed and the towing truck person mentioned that they have no way of dropping my car off there. So I thought I needed to leave my car in the city for the weekend as I wasn't sure where else to get my car dropped where I would be covered by insurance, instead of having to have it delivered 40 miles to my home. I came across San Fran Mobile Tire Guys, so I decided to give them a call. Anthony picked up and mentioned that he can come to my car in 2 hours, and that I didn't have to be at the car so I could go get dinner. He also mentioned that he had it covered by insurance in the past, so that there wasn't anything I needed to worry about, especially after I confirmed with insurance that it was a place on their list that I could get the service too. He gave me a call when he was on his way to my car so I was able to give the credit card over the phone. By the time I came back from dinner, he was patching my tire. He explained how he works with a few others on that San Fran Mobile Tire Guys due to the number of requests that are needed in the city and there is usually someone 24/7. He made sure to top off the air in my tires, and also gave some tips on what tires to get and that if I had taken the tire to the shop, they would have refused to work on it because they are already legally bald. Leave to Anthony for literally saving my night! I was worried I needed to leave my car somewhere and take Bart/Caltrain home, but instead it was all taken care of while I got some dinner with my friends. I had a flat on the 17 and ended up driving on the flat till I got off the exit. In hindsight, that was a bad call but I lucked out and the rim was not damaged. The tire was a mess though. I got help from A.W who changed the tire for me. The guy who helped me was gruff but very efficient and gave me good advice. At a restaurant, I look for great service but when you are waiting for a tow truck or someone who can change a tire, I am looking for someone good who comes quickly which is what happened here. Late Saturday night my car gets a flat tire in San Francisco, luckily someone warned me before I got onto the freeway. Did a search for emergency tire repair, Anthony diagnosed the issue from some photos, communicated with me the whole way and showed up 45 min later. He immediately found the issue with a nail stuck in my tire and patched it up in no time. He also checked and filled air in all of the other 3 tires (of which all of them were low). The whole thing was done in less than 30 min and the price was super fair. I don't think I have had this kind of service in a very long time. One of the perks of off-site catering is that it's a different experience, every time. One of the disadvantages of off-site catering is that it's a different experience, every time: ie getting a flat tire at 10 pm on a Friday night, on the shoulder of 85, in Los Gatos, when we have to go back to the kitchen in San Francisco. After the insurance telling us that it would be an hour and a half wait for a tow truck and another company telling us that they don't tow to San Francisco, we were defeated. We came across Anthony's glowing Yelp, called him, and within 20 mins, he came in like a knight in shining armor. We found out that the van didn't have the proper equipment to change the tire, nor did the van have a spare tire. Without giving up on us, Anthony took the time to see if the tire was repairable and it was! 15 minutes later, we were back on our way. I drive an ancient BMW that has needed a lot of help during the lockdown, and AW Roadside Service has helped me multiple times and always been absolutely fantastic! First off, they don't treat women like we're morons who know nothing about cars--that's huge in my book! They're always very fast to contact you and make sure you're safe and give you an ETA. One time I needed a jump start and the driver asked me where I was headed, so I told him the gas station a few blocks down. I didn't realize my car would die again when I turned it off to fill up, but he did so he generously offered to follow me and wait while I filled my tank and then he jumped me again. Anthony is phenomenal! 20/10 stars! He goes above and beyond like no one I've ever experienced before - he literally restored my faith in humanity again. My car battery died and Anthony was sent by my insurance to jump my car. It was the 2nd time that same week my car battery died (My dad was out visiting and jumped my battery the first time). Anthony provided amazing customer service. He encouraged me to get my battery checked by Autozone since it was still under warranty and had died 2x in one week. 6/5 stars for our first encounter and his great service. I followed his advice and went into 2 different Autozones. I was told my battery was fine at both. The following week my battery died once again, which was really frustrating. I contacted my insurance again to jump my battery... and to my luck, Anthony showed up. He recognized me immediately and I explained my experience with Autozone (No hate to Autozone btw bc the location on Hillsdale, SJ really pulled through - great store associates and manager)! But truly all thanks to Anthony! After I explained my prior encounters with Autozone, Anthony asked me if my schedule was free for him to go to Autozone WITH me. Like what? That is some top level service I have never encountered before. I'm an idiot when it comes to cars and get taken advantage of almost every time I go in for car maintenance or have to deal with anything car related. My car was stranded in the Wheel Works parking lot b/c after replacing 4 tires, the WW mechanic left the lights on all day! By the time I got there, Wheel Works was closed so I was stranded in their parking lot. I called AAA (1.5 hour wait) so I called roadside assistance through my credit card and they sent Anthony from AW Roadside Service. Ironically, AAA and Anthony from AW Roadside both showed up at the same time. Anthony was incredible!! He went above and beyond the call of duty. The AAA service person was going to jump start the car, but Anthony went above and beyond by charging the battery and then rechecking it to ascertain the battery's health. That gave him the insight to advise me that the alternator is fine, but I should drive the car around for 30 minutes before turning it off. He took the time to explain everything. After months of not driving my Prius, it is out of battery, and I simply needed help jump-starting it.
