I was pleased with this taxi service…read more My driver arrived promptly, and he proceeded to get me where I needed to go. Also, he refunded me a couple dollars on the fare because of a delay caused by a drawbridge being out (something beyond the driver's control, as it were). I had no problems with my ride. My thanks goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service.

Dennis, a full-time driver and son of the owner, has "anger issues" and "road rage" according to…read morepeople with whom he works. After my encounter with him, I feel unsafe at work and home without a weapon with which I can protect myself. Friday evening, he chased my 18-year-old son to a dark cul-de-sac and assaulted him, shoving him into the side of his car twice before my son was able to free himself from Dennis on his back. Because my son didn't want to press charges (!), Dennis was not arrested. I don't want to lose the point here by including too many details, but the incident started after Dennis pulled out in front of my son, they both locked up brakes, my son drove around him, Dennis rode his bumper (my son was going 20 mph, which is the speed limit, and which apparently angered Dennis further) until my son turned off, at which time my son gesticulated out the window. Instead of proceeding on to Road Runner's office, which was literally yards away, Dennis followed my son, in Dennis' own words to me, to "teach him a lesson" for flipping him off. When I confronted Dennis at Road Runner shortly thereafter, he called me disgusting language and told me he knows where I work and live. I've gone back to the office a couple of times, and they've told me there that there is nothing anyone can do because his mother is 50% (I believe?) owner, and that she "needs to make him get back on his meds." I've mentioned the incident to about ten people so far, and was shocked to learn that TWO of THESE people had bad experiences while passengers of Dennis! (One said he was terrified because Dennis was screaming and cussing out the window and trying to get another driver to pull over, and the other said Dennis slammed on the brakes and forced him and his friends to get out on the side of the street, saying they think they're [expletive] comedians. My co-worker said nothing precipitated this outburst.) In my opinion, it's only a matter of time before this man seriously hurts someone. I don't know whether it will be a passenger or another driver, but either way, I would never get in a vehicle with him or allow anyone I care about to get in a vehicle with him!
