I've been here in all hours on different days and while it's not as busy as the one on Stadium Blvd. location, their crowd meter on the app vs the actual folks in the gym are off... not sure what kind of algorithm they use on that app, but some times it shows 1 bar when it's busy and show 2 bars when it's super busy. If you go in the evening - around 7:30pm, expect to run into a lot of the local high school students working out and unfortunately they like to spread out and it seems all the free weights and equipment's around that area are occupied. I also noticed they tend to stay on the equipment's longer than necessary as they are chatting with their buddies or on their phones. The ideal time to go is between 12:30-2pm. Not too many folks are here, maybe like 20 in total and you'll get a better chance of using the equipment's. I adjusted my visits now so I'm here around 1pm and out by 2pm and so far so good, no issues. I get to use the equipment's that I need. Yes, I go everyday :) For the weekends (Sat/Sun), I would recommend time frame of 9:30am to 12pm, I noticed that there's less people here during this time.... now, don't quote me on these times lol... things can change and probably has :) Staff are friendly and nice. Cyril White, Shannon and Reagan are coaching the Couch to Crossfit 6-week program; which is a special offered 6-weeks for $95. Talk about reasonable! Six weeks of personal coaching, scaled workouts and small class sizes for individual attention. This guy knows his stuff. Everyone is welcoming and upbeat. I didn't feel out of place at all - though the thought of joining an new elite level gym had me thinking I should have before stepping in the doors. My third class is tonight and I am really looking forward to getting back to it and working hard. The place is small but very effective setup and layout. Great equipment, bathroom/changing room and even bottled water and sports drinks at cost out of the fridge. Just like any Crossfit gym, there is loud music, and shouts of encouragement. They make the workouts fun with workout parties on Fridays and special events or classes here and there. Check out Country Crossfit webpage. You can check in, log your workout, and reserve your spot for the class you want. Country Crossfit will give you a free class to check them out, or if you get a referral from a member (me), then you get one month of free membership to take as many classes as you want and get a feel for who they are and what they do. They really do a great job of creating a comfortable, inclusive atmosphere. Don't be intimidated - come check them out. PM me if you want a referral - I don't get anything from it (just so you know). Come with a positive attitude, ready to work and you will like it.

I joined various gyms (i.e., boxing, spinning, yoga, kettlebell, and barre gyms) and running clubs hoping to find a place that would help me achieve this. Nothing seemed to fit....the workouts almost always started great but were so repetitive/impersonal that I eventually got bored and left. Anyways, I decided to drop-in to a free class at Joust and instantly loved this place. The trainers are kind, friendly, and know their stuff. They look at each person in a group workout individually - scaling the workout if necessary and pushing you so that you are almost always sore but never done so at the expense of form. Further, the fellow gym members at Joust are phenomenal, smart, people at all different fitness levels who are beyond supportive. As a woman who is almost always trying to lose 'just more 5 lbs,' it was so nice joining a place where my focus was completely redirected to learning new skills and getting stronger. I have only been a member for 6 months and am bummed that I am moving states (i.e., leaving Joust), but if you are thinking about joining, I can't recommend this place enough!

They challenge me to do just a bit more and do it better, but not so much that safety is compromised. They show us how to do the lifts every time. Some gyms just assume you know how to do it. Some are absolute Amazons, and some are lifting for the first time ever. If you need to shower before work, they have showers. I have enjoyed Crossfit gyms in several different cities from Maine to California. They are all fun. In some of them, you just jump on boxes, flap your arms some, and lift weights and everyone is friendly but no one pushes you to do better. Reach has been an integral part of my fitness journey. It's the only way I've been able to work out…read more6x a week (with 2 days in which I double up with 2 hours of working out) for going on 8 months now. How does a stretching/sports massage place factor in you ask? I've suffered from chronic injuries, pain since high school sports. E.g. I've had a back spasm last for 3+ hours (just from bending down to pick up something!!) where I couldn't move and I had to just lay horizontally the entire day. I've never been very limber and never really stretched, but now that I'm in my 30s my body will tell me REAL QUICK if I'm not treating it right. So, I decided I need to be proactive. I was first exposed to Reach from some of my gym members. Since then, Reach has offered 15 min sessions during our Gym Open House, In-House Competition, etc. Per their website, the method is a combination of techniques including high pressure percussion, myofascial work, trigger point release, and active assisted stretching. Based on this, don't expect a relaxing massage. It's going to hurt so good & you'll feel great after! You can choose either a membership (which gets you better value at 2x, 3x, 4x a month+) or a la carte packs. It's relatively convenient to book via the Mind Body app! Also, they have a fair amount of specialists so they great availability. They do get booked up but there are some last minute shifts -- all which you can see in the app!

It's almost sadistic, haha- it was basically a half hour of absolute pain, but I felt SO GOOD afterwards. I grew up a competitive dancer and have taught dance part-time for most of my adult life, so my body has been through a lot. Reach's techniques work through every knot and tension that has built up over the years; it's like a combination between massage and physical therapy. I went back a few more times after that due to specials they offered me. Unfortunately, I had to stop going after three or four times because it is just outrageously expensive. I would give this place 10,000 stars if I could if only it were affordable!!

I get why people give this gym five stars, but I look at it with a more critical eye than most,…read morehaving visited gyms all over the country for over 50 years - so the bar is high. Is it a five star gym, no it's not, but it could be. First off Courtney is a great ambassador for the gym. She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very friendly. She is also beautiful and in very good shape. Criticize me if you want, but those things matter. My review is more focused on the weight training/cardio side of the gym. There is a lot going on in this, what I would call, medium size space. The equipment is all in good shape, it's just not organized in a way to take full advantage of the space. Even still, some things are lacking like; a second rack of dumbbells...at least for the lighter weights less than 40 say, there we no small dumbbells either and a lot of people like myself, do high rep workouts so need those small hand weights e.g. 2#, 3#, 4#...up to 10#, a captains chair and/or dip rack would be a good addition as would a Smith Press. There is also a need for more mirrors. I saw some folks doing squats and there is no mirror for them to check form. A lot of the best gyms I have been in had 80-90% of the walls covered in mirrors - the more the better. There also needs to be a dedicated area with matts for people to stretch and do floor exercises. Or at least put some signs up so people do not use the area in front of the dumbbell rack for this purpose. Too be fair, some of the items I mentioned might be in the cross fit area, but if they are, they should be moved or duplicated. Again it's a layout issue for the most part. It might seem I am being overly critical, but I am not really. I am providing honest feedback from someone who knows his way around gyms. However, it does depend on what the owner's goal is. It could be possible Cross Training is their main focus and they want to stay away from, what I would call, a "power lifter" atmosphere....which is fine. Although some of the items I mentioned would still be beneficial. I also do not know how long this gym has been around, but I suspect it's relatively new so things could be in the works. Another thing to consider it the music played in the gym. Being 68 years old I am not a fan of whatever was on, but I might suggest a better mix/blend of different music genres. Personally, I think easy listening/soft rock is best since even young folks can relate. For some people it can be a deal breaker. On the positive side the gym is well lite, very clean with clean bathrooms and even saunas which were hot and and also very clean. it's in a good location and with proper signage and advertising could have a healthy membership. Owning and operating a gym is hard work and even harder to turn a profit. I wish the owners luck with this endeavor because you cannot have too many gyms in my book
