Many (15+) people "found" the address of this sale the NIGHT before and signed up before the address was released to the public. At least 15 names were on the list by the time anyone arrived at 6 am (when the address was released). Then when they opened the door for the sale they picked up the unofficial (in my opinion illicit) list and began calling names from it. This being the list that started before the public was even given the address. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about why this would happen but none of the conclusions bode well for Donnelly in my mind.

After discussing for a while, she just left, having made more of a mess than was there before. I am including the "after" photo. Update: I got an email from the CEO threatening me for this review. It's unfortunate that her employee was upset with our appointment too. I stopped her to understand what her plan was and explain my needs, so that we weren't wasting our time. I'm sorry that my feedback hurt her feelings. My harshest feedback to her was, "I understand your piles, but I don't see how they are helpful," and "there are a lot of piles here - at some point they become superfluous." I have nothing against her employee. She seemed like a nice person. But I didn't see that her method was meaningful, and her explanation was only "this is my training" so I continued to not understand her plan, and I pressed to find out more, because I genuinely wanted her help. I tried to explain that all I wanted was someone to sit with me and say "do you need to keep this?" But she told me that her way was to make a bunch of piles, leave for 30 min so I could decide what to get rid of by myself, and then come back and put the leftovers away. I told her that if she did that, I would just feel overwhelmed and probably not do anything. So she told me she couldn't help. As she got up to leave, I even said, "ok we can do it your way. I'll try to trust you. Please don't leave me with this mess." But she left anyway. I wasn't going to even write a review until I realized she had scattered my sentimental box in an unfixable way. When I realized that, I cried. I had told her I wanted to work together, but she had refused, and if we had worked together in the first place, she wouldn't have destroyed the one thing that really mattered to me. It was a bad day for all involved. The CEO says I am a "bully" for articulating my needs, but I don't think my expectations were unreasonable. I wanted to go thru things together, and have the organizer be gently present as I made decisions about letting go. The organizer wanted to sort things herself and have me make decisions alone. Those ideologies are fundamentally at odds, so maybe it's good she left early.

The project came together, but not with a lot of back and forth that wasn't necessary. I had to do a phase 2 effort, that I wanted to match the cabinets, but I can't even get them to respond to a design request. I don't know about their past, but 2024 through the beginning of 2025 makes them a non-viable vendor. Consider others that will be responsive and prioritize your project.

There was something about Terence when I first met him that I really liked. I kept his business card. I ended cancelling my order with my cabinet maker and set up an appointment with Terence. I really liked the style of cabinets he was offering and really connected with him. I found Terence to be very hard working and honest. He really wanted to help me achieve the modern look I was aiming for. We connected and developed a great working relationship! I had quite a job for him, a kitchen, walk in pantry and 3 bathrooms that all needed cabinets. He was attentive to details and very responsive with communications in his emails and texts. Terence has so many years of experience behind him. He is so good in trouble shooting areas that might need a little help. He is also very hands on and did some of the install himself. He inspected every single cabinet and adjusted them where it was needed. Terence has a great attitude, happy and so easy to get along with. I really enjoyed working with Terence. I trusted his insight and judgement. I even would ask him for his opinion on decorating my home and he was so helpful with his design tips.
