Eggplant parmesan lacked flavor
Vannessa W.

I recently ordered take-out from A Touch of Basil for a small game night, and it was the right call. The service I received was incredibly cheery and fast, the menu is varied and reasonably priced, and the food is tasty overall! I'm taking off one star simply because the eggplant parmesan was a little underwhelming -- it could've used some more flavor and definitely more marinara.

In the area running errands decided to stop by for a quick lunch, i've had good experiences here in the past we don't frequent this establishment because my wife enjoys a cold beer, They do not serve beer or wine, bummer, anyways upon entering the establishment (no one was there) except for the staff 2 waitresses and a cook. By the way looked directly at me and said nothing. I asked if I should seat myself they replied yes, So right off the bat they have every fan in the place along with a large fan on the counter at full blast! A wind tunnel, making it very uncomfortable to sit here and eat, so after eight minutes of sitting looking at a menu, which I picked up myself I go to the counter and ask the young lady if someone will be taking my order? Or can I order from the counter which she said u can order right here, I order a five count Buffalo wings and two slices of pizza, sausage and pepperoni, it arrives in 12 minutes together no problem however I bite the pizza and some of the sausage slices on top are cold? The pizza was hot, must've been a rush job because again the sausage slices were serve cold at least most, pizza was tasty, the Buffalo wings were also tasty however, not tossed, sauce was drizzled over the top, a little bit lazy but I digress, it seems the standards slip when the owner Chef is not in the building, slightly disappointed, again the food is good, but the details and consistency are clutch. I have spoken ..

I'm almost at a loss for words when it comes to explaining how awesome this place is. It's THAT good! Don't be alarmed when you walk into the tiny little pizza shop. Every single thing we tried here was amazing, and gave us enough leftovers for a whole other meal! The tables were clean; and the staff was incredibly friendly as well. You can't go wrong on the menu here, just pick something that sounds good and prepare to be satisfied. Pro tip: add some Parmesan and garlic to your fries (supplied on each table) and don't forget to order dessert!

A touch of Basil certainly delivers on their largest pizza. One is always greeted with the happiest staff and the pizza is guaranteed to make one smile. Between Bella Roma and Touch of Basil these are two best in Saint Cloud. If one is doing a birthday party Touch of Basil delivers in size

House Special Pizza 12"

The staff is super nice! We had the lobster ravioli and it was tasty. The house special pizza was good but I am not crazy about the sausage (I am picky about sausage since I do not like the flavor of caraway seed). The garlic knots are nice with lots of sautéed garlic and herbs. The place was hopping with takeout and delivery orders. Our food got to us quickly and the prices were reasonable. We will visit again if we get back to this neck of the woods. They have sodas but no fresh brewed, sweet tea, but I won't hold that against them.

The pizza is def not the greatest! If you're hungry it will suffice. They do have a few desserts that are pretty good though!

We were driving home from the East Coast back to Orlando and finally had the chance to stop in here…read moreand grab a Pizza. We called 30 minutes ahead and it was ready around 5 minutes after we arrived, and it was definitely hot and fresh. When we walked in, I was not expecting such a nice dining room. It had a nice elegance, more fancy than pizzeria, smelled very clean, and was decently busy for a mid afternoon Saturday. We only ordered a pizza, the Santa Pepperoni, which met my expectations. Cooked well done without asking, it was extremely crispy. The center had a small flop where the dough was thinner but it didn't take away from anything. They use cup pepperoni which is my preferred style and not too much cheese. Definitely in my top 3 central Florida pizza spots. I wish we had ordered other things as well. The pasta dishes looked spectacular and portions were generous. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

The pasta was cooked al dente, which I would've preferred it to be cooked a little longer but that's just a personal preference. Flavor was good! My favorite was the Santa Pepperoni pizza, I got the hot honey on the side and wouldn't change anything about it, it was delicious. I liked that it wasn't soggy at all. I can't wait to go back to try their mozzarella, garlic knots and meatballs. If you're in the area, definitely recommend.

You can tell they stick to that traditional style, and the portions are generous, so you won't leave hungry. They've got a solid menu too with calzones, pasta, subs, and garlic knots that are just as satisfying. What stood out to me is the atmosphere it feels like a true neighborhood spot. Family-owned energy, friendly staff, and that "welcome to the family" type of experience that makes it feel personal. It's not fancy, but that's the point. It's casual, comforting, and all about good food done right. Overall, if you're craving authentic, hearty Italian comfort food and classic NY-style pizza in Orlando, Tomasino's is a solid go-to. You can't go wrong with a nice pepperoni pizza!

I had to find out whether the pizza was as good as I remembered it. We came in the afternoon on New Year's Eve, and it wasn't very busy. I only saw a few tables being served. We were seated immediately to peruse the menu. My party ordered an 18-inch cheese pizza, ten-piece chicken wings with mild sauce, a chicken Parmesan, and some garlic knots. The chicken wings were good. They were cooked well, hot, fresh, and crispy. The mild sauce is spicy, but manageable. The garlic knots were okay. It wouldn't be something I would have to get each time I came. The pizza was definitely the star of the show. We actually asked if two of the slices could have some sausage on them so my mom and I could share some of the pizza. She wanted to try it, but prefers sausage. The only downside was that our waiter was a little slow. He would pop up every once in a while to check on us. It also took him a while to return to our table after we placed our drink order, so we had to wait to order our main meal. Getting our check and some to-go boxes also took a bit of time. That is the only nitpicky thing I could point out. Otherwise, I'd definitely come back!
