One star is being generous for these salesmen. My husband and I walked into the building ready to spend $200 on sturdy, expensive cases to protect our iPhones. We have a six month old who is at the "put everything in my mouth" phase, so we figured it would be a worth while investment. We went straight for the otter box and life proof cases because of their reputation and the salesmen said they were "military grade" and that "a hummer could roll over it and it would be fine." I then began to ask the people if the warranty covered phone or just the case. The gentleman helping us didn't know, so he asked the other man working. He went on to say that yes, otter box would cover both the phone and case. My husband found the Otterbox Amor for his phone and asked them to put the case on because we were interested in buying it. This is where things went wrong. The guy did not know (we found out later) how to put the case on and may have even sold us the wrong case for the iPhone 5S. (No where in the Otterbox case does it say for what phone it was intended.) Within seconds of handing us our new, super protect, can be run over by a car phone, my baby is sucking on the phone and drops it. I go to pick up the phone and it is SHATTERED. The phone was put in incorrectly and the pressure from the home button shattered it all up the phone. The guys were both in shock and knew that they had messed up, but all they would do was offer to fix our newly cracked phone for $65 instead of $85. At that point, the manager came out and told us that the phone was not covered. The little man who told us the phone was covered cowered into his little corner and avoided us at all costs, much less admitting that what he told us was wrong. I tried to reason with them and even agreed that it was a shitty situation, but I never felt that they were doing anything to go above and beyond to better the situation. They simply saw an opportunity to make money and took full advantage of it. After a bit of arguing, we left with no phone cases, a cracked phone, a pissed off husband, and a wasted Sunday afternoon. We ended up going down to t-mobile to fix the phone and buy a phone case. Ironically, the cases at the t-mobile store were cheaper (lesson learned!), plus I found a 30% coupon online that they honored in store! (I totally recommend the Tech21 cases!) read more

Due to the unforeseen circumstances of a family member's phone, we were informed by the maker it is best to purchase a brand new one! Not interested in simply tossing a few days pay to the wind, I objectively decided to seek another avenue. Fortunately I recalled this little store down the way. The worst that could happen is needing to grab something else in the easier price range. It doesn't take long for Sam (the manager) to understand the situation and diagnose an affordable option. The phone was dead. Nothing to lose, but my time for a phone out of warranty. 25 minutes later I reappear to find Sam using an associate's nimble hands along side his. Together they were finishing the job. With great shock, I am surprised the phone actually worked!!! Really!! #€¥|* amazing! Imagine the relief! No really, try! Yes, I am happy! Hey, I know it's not the original supplier products. Remember it's out of warranty. This baby works! Thank you, Sam! I'm happy to refer this location for service. If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE! FAULTY/ FRAGILE SCREENS! I came into this store for them to fix my shattered screen. When I got my phone back I was so happy & excited that it was fixed. A couple hours later though I realized the screen wasn't properly secured at the top. It was loose fitting/ raised. I figured I would go back the next day. When the next day came, I was holding my phone & it shattered in my hand!! There was no excess pressure & I didn't drop it. When I went back, the man who repaired my phone remembered me (I had my receipt as well) & he refused to refund my money or even fix the screen again! He offered me a twenty percent discount for me to pay him to fix it again! Clearly this place was a SCAM & the customer service was AWFUL. read more

I asked how long it took to get it done, and they said between 15-45 minutes. I don't mind paying a slight premium to go the mall, but $75 for 5 minutes? $100 for a pink replacement screen for my iPhone which broke a month later. When another servicer fixed my screen, they said A-Z didn't install my home button correctly (i did notice it was a bit raised) and left a few screws loose inside my iPhone which caused it to shatter easily. read more

While my phone was being worked on a sales guy from a different repair stand offered me a cheaper price, and warned me that A to Z uses the thinnest glass to repair phones. At the time I thought he was just trying to get my business, not anymore! A to Z is a total scam! Please don't waste your money! Wish I could give zero stars but I will settle with one. Bought a iPhone in June and the "salesman" told me that a tablet is only $10 more a month. So I ended up buying it. I deactivated it a month after, because I have another tablet. I had to pay a $175 early termination fee to Verizon and $200 early termination fee to A Wireless. Called their customer service line spoke to Stephanie, manager, she was useless. She told me the total is because I canceled the service before 6 months. Now remind you 6 months is only $60 (6X10). I asked to just pay $60, which is rational. Nope, she said it doesn't matter what the sales associate says because they give us 14 days to review the contract. Who reads the contracts? This is the worse customer service I have ever dealt with. Nothing like getting you coming and going. read more

I gave this place one star because it wouldn't let me continue without a star. This place is the absolute WORST place to get your phone fixed! My iPhone 5 needed a new screen because the screen was lifting off the base of the phone. I took it to get it fixed and was hit with $135 bill. Not even 24 hours later, I find out that the screen that they had replaced the old one with was dead. I went back and got it replaced again. Needless to say, it's been 11 days and I've gone back 4 times to get my phone screen replaced. If you value your hard earned money, DO NOT COME HERE. The guys are very rude and will give you shitty service and a cheap screen. The screens are from China (not apple) you are guaranteed a shitty screen and a very high bill. I brought in my daughters iPhone 4 that went through the washer. Although it had an otter box case on it, the screen was shot and so was the battery. To top it off, two days later my wife's iPhone 4s got water damage from the cup holder in the van. Needless to say I was not too happy about handing the Genius bar over $400 bucks (which is what they said it was going to cost me since both phones had water damage) so I walked over to A to Z. They were great. They took both phones apart to diagnose at no charge and tested both. As it turns out they were able to replace the screen and battery on my daughters phone for less than half of the replacement cost from Apple!! The other phone was shot- liquid got to the logic board, but they were honest about it and did not charge me a penny to troubleshoot. Quality work and everything was done in 45 min. I would highly recommend them as an alternative it you have major damage to your phone. read more

Absolutely horrible!! Do NOT take your phones there or buy anything from these guys!! One of the reviews said it correctly... they are a bunch of teenagers who are rude and have horrible customer service! They can also NOT be trusted! I took my daughters phone in to get fixed, when we got it back it didn't work properly. I had to drive back again and they re-did the screen change. This happened while I was on my honeymoon and couldn't get a hold of my daughter because she couldn't use her phone because of the screen. It took three tries before they got it right, which included a lot of driving back and forth and waiting. Then a couple months down the road we realized they swapped out our 32G phone for a 16G phone! It has now been months and many phone calls and visits and they STILL have not made it right nor given us our 32G phone or compensation for their mistake!! They are horrible and will be reported to the Better Business Bureau. Do NOT do business with these guys! read more
