Sonny and his crew showed up after we canceled his service. with no authorization at all, they removed a large portion of a tree that fell on our house, again WITHOUT permission, and did not notify us of doing this work until it was completed. not only this, but they successfully punctured the roof in another area, and are now claiming no responsibility for their actions. they are not willing to accept any responsibility either, leaving us with a hole in our roof now needing additional repairs. this happened after we told him not to come, he still came, did non-authorized work, and created more damage and issues along the way and will not accept ANY responsibility. will be pursuing small claims. read more

This is an update to my review on A to Z Tree removal and Landscaping. A month after Sonny and his crew removed 7 trees and a large shrub and agreed to the stump grinding and chip removal, I had to hire another professional to come in and dig out the chips that Sonny refused to take out. The person I hired had to use a bucket loader and dump truck to remove the debris and chips left behind by Sonny and A to Z Landscaping. Large pieces of debris from the tree removal were buried with the chips and ran over back and forth to give the appearance of a complete job. After a month of back breaking raking and removal from just the surface. The attached picture illustrates a fraction of just how much was left behind. Get several bids before you take A to Z's bid because unless you want to hire another professional to finish what A to Z leaves behind, well that's on you. read more

A-Z Tree service removed a 12 inch thick storm damaged oak tree and ground the stump out. Removed an 8 inch maple limb split from the trunk and leaning against a hickory tree. Trimmed and pruned the maple and hickory, and topped the hickory to reduce its height. Cut and stacked limbs and trunks in firewood lengths. Removed and hauled debris, and cleaned up yard work areas. A-Z is well manned, with all the right equipment and tools. This is the third time A-Z has done work for us, and we will use them again. I am really impressed with A-Z Tree Service. It pays to hire licensed and experienced professionals. I had two 16" gum trees taken down and was surprised how big Sonny's crew is. I thought maybe 2-3 people but I believe there was at least 6. I liked the fact that Sonny was careful around the yard and even laid down plywood to protect the grass. Everyone knew exactly what to do and when to do it. Even though these were not the easiest trees to remove, nothing was damaged and the cleanup was excellent. My First Review ever for household services. I took four (4) bids on a medium residential tree service job. There was a dead oak in the front that had to go and some difficult trees overhanging the back fence line along a drainage ditch and open forest that have to be done too. A to Z was quick to schedule a time and provided a respectable estimate. It turned out that I was also responsible for my left and right neighbors' encroaching oaks and I had to get another bid. The same day, the company returned to bid this upgrade, and they were willing to add in removing some three (3) dying myrtles and trim two others. All this and still came in the lowest bid. Scheduling was quick and when the weather reports showed severe rain and thunder, Mr. Sonny (Owner) had the team come early and start/finish the job including disposal before a drop of rain hit the ground. I am not saying he does this for everyone but my back fence gate was off-hinge and he took the time to center and aligned it.
