He met with my husband the same day to give his estimate. Not only was his pricing the best around but he was the most reliable and did what he promised. He and his crew arrived on time. Their service was the best I have seen. They were very professional, quick and thorough and took care to take down the tree while avoiding any destruction to my existing plants. They cleaned up all the little branches throughout the yard and on the street. You would not even have known they were there. We also had the stump ground. He arrived not long after they left. Was a very polite young man and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend Absolute Trees to anyone in need! Nancy and Fred E.

They did the work without letting me know they were coming. If they did I would have seen what they were doing. The tree pruning was very poor. It is barely noticeable. I am paying the tree pruning since I was out of town and cannot prove what they did or didn't do other than the trees seem full. They removed the stumps except for 1 and they destroyed my irrigation system. I called and they were supposed to call me back with information. They disappeared. They sent me emails and letters for the payment (including the stump not removed) so I called them again. The person whom I spoke with was no longer with the company and they told me that they would call me back. But they didn't. I kept calling and finally there was a follow up. They asked me the pictures for the tree and I sent them. No response to that twice. They then sent me their disclaimer for the irrigation and I had to send them pictures that the irrigation was visible so not covered by their disclaimer. They keep harassing me with requests of payment regardless of our phone conversation, proof of damage and emails. There is an obvious disconnect within the company and the customer is trapped in this net.

Great customer service, great response and affordable.

What impressed me most was the level of pride he takes in his company. Even as the owner, Roland personally pressure washed our fence and driveway after the job to make sure everything was left clean. That says a lot about the type of business he runs. His crew of six was professional, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. They kept our property clean throughout the entire job and didn't leave behind any trash or mess. Travis in particular is extremely good at what he does and was great to work with. It's rare to find an owner who is this involved and genuinely cares about the finished product and the customer's experience. Roland runs a first-class operation, and I would recommend Charleston Stump Stompers to anyone needing tree or stump work. Five stars all around.

As I mentioned previously, Carlos was a great contractor when it came to cutting down the trees. My yard was too soft to move the heavy trunks and he let them sit there for weeks and weeks. I asked if he could just mulch them and he said yes but didn't do anything, and then hauled them away. He said he'd come back to fix the fence he pulled down. I had to threaten to hire someone else and bill him before he finally came out. He said he'd fix it quick so the dogs wouldn't get out and he'd come back, but ghosted me. Gave me a sob story about his divorce and moving and having to take on more work, but who DOESN'T have struggles?! My fence is embarrassing and I've had to get quotes from other companies and work a side job to save up to have it fixed. If you hire him - pay the deposit, but withhold the last 25% until he's ACTUALLY done. He'll ghost you otherwise.
