Over time, the service became very minimal. Areas of the yard were left uncut, bushes were not properly maintained, edging was not being done, and there was very little weed eating under the backyard fence line. This allowed the neighbor's grass to grow into my yard. During one of the final visits, several areas of grass were left over a foot tall, which made it look like parts of the yard had not been cut at all. When I emailed Pedro to cancel and explained the issues, he did not ask any questions, offer to come inspect the yard, apologize, or try to make it right. He simply acknowledged the cancellation. He later billed me for May, which was the same month I cancelled due to the poor service and the yard not being properly maintained. When I questioned the invoice, he insisted that the balance was still owed and stated that they provide "high quality work." In my experience, that was not the case. The work performed on my property felt rushed and incomplete, and the response after I raised my concerns was disappointing. I would not recommend this company based on the quality of service I received and the lack of accountability when problems were brought to their attention.

So, after 2 years of shock with all the junk builders throw on the ground, it was looking more raggedy than ever. We had our gardener try to trim it, but he just made it worse. Finally, we couldn't stand it, so my husband googled around and found Winthrop, who responded promptly. Jay came out and assessed the tree, found it healthy, gave us a very reasonable estimate for the trim and shipping. Came back a few days later and did the work with his very nice crew. The estimator, Bert, came out twice for an estimate and was always on time, very punctual. The crew that removed the tree was punctual as well. They quickly, efficiently, and safely removed the Water Oak tree in our backyard that was in a tight spot...close to our house, backyard fence, other trees, bird feeders and plants. They dropped the tree on a dime. We will use Whack em and Stack em again for any tree service needs in the future.
