My mother, who had dementia and Alzheimer's, had poor care here. I (not the staff), discovered her completely unresponsive. Her roommate told me she'd been thar way all day. The staff were aware, yet ignored her. Paramedics came because I called, no DNR in place. They revived her rushing her to the hospital. The hospital staff informed me my mother was severely dehydrated, as indicated by the indentations near her temples, and was obvious that the showers they said she got, never happened. They sloughed a hill of dead skin off one leg.
She returned to the home for a couple days after her hospital stay. I brought her delicious puréed food from my table, the staff at this home slamming doors as I fed her.
I returned to work the next day, and was informed she'd passed. When I arrived at the home, I was unable to breathe, the stench of death was so bad. My mom had been dead for hours, and no one called me.
The owner seemed nice at first, then bought another home and handed this one off to an uncaring family who was obviously just looking for a place for their family to live. They came from another country and didn't work.
There is no care nor activities in this house of horrors. If you love your loved ones, don't subject them to this house. Kamala, Clive and their boys mostly watch TV, instead of caring for those who can't care for themselves. read more
