Their high-shrilled voice manager was so rude when I tried to ask him to come back and wanted to charge 2 trip charges for a technician with no common sense. (sigh)…read more In the past, Pasquini had been a remarkably capable service organization and with some amazingly talented techs in-house, had been my sole trusted partner to help keep my 8 year old Bezzera lever espresso machine running in tip-top shape. I moved to Vegas from LA almost a decade ago and since I have a specialty machine that doesn't really have locally trained support here in town, Pasquini had been my lifeline that could offer preventative maintenance. I would drive it over to them every 4 years or so to overhaul the machine and keep it running in perfect condition, which they did. Robert, the tech that helped keep my machine humming along was extremely friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent resource. In the interim, I would use Pasquini to order simple replacement parts such as showerhead gaskets and such and it was such a relief knowing they were there, and their kind assistance over the years can not be overstated. Unfortunately, when I recently called to get some advice and some related parts, in addition to wanting to setup a calendar date for another "tune-up" service call, I was essentially kicked to the curb and told that they no longer are going to service machines or offer advice on anything that wasn't originally bought from them. Period. Full stop. Additionally, I hate to echo other comments that others have left recently but the person taking my initial call was amazingly unfriendly and clearly had no interest in hearing me out as it related to my existing service relationship with them. I received such an over the top toxic response in the way that it was delivered that I have a hard time believing this person is allowed to answer the phone. Just wild. It's such a shame-- there aren't that many choices for those that shopped around online for their specialty machines to get in-city support. Those that have used Seattle Coffee Gear or 1st Line, or Whole Latte Love (or similar) have likely done so not just because of price, but also because it can be difficult to locate some of these machines in town. I hadn't been aware of Pasquini in 2017 or I probably would have loved to stop by their shop and support our local merchants but their decision to not offer support of any kind or even to CONSIDER grandfathering for those that have had existing service relationships removes my ability to service my heavy fragile machine without shipping it at this point. While that's not a great future to look forward to, and while it's certainly Pasquini's perogative to decide how they want to conduct their business model, I think it was the absolute lack of empathy and horrible support from the rep I spoke to over the phone after previously (and happily) spending almost $1,000 in repairs with them that left such a bad taste in my mouth and prompted me to share this story with you all. Let's hope they turn this ship around because their behavior seems quite self-destructive. It's truly a shame. Very sad about this one.

In despair i called Matt on Memorial day he answered the phone and gave me a same day appointment. He had the problem fixed in less an hour...Just a loose wire causing intermittent electric failure which Jura failed to notice. Now it has had no problems since. Charged me $80, what a hero and what a great service he provides. Saved me from buying a new machine for $2700! He also does servicing of Jura and has refurbished machines for sale. I would not hesitate to use him for all your coffee machine needs, especially Jura.

Sharp needed a second opinion and sent out A+ Appliances. A+ Appliances claimed it was working fine. Not the case. Top rack dishes do not get washed, bottom has a detergent film. They ran part of a cycle with no dishes and said it was getting water (not the problem but they claimed that because of this, they found it in perfect working condition.) They have promised they'd send another tech out and they are not answering my calls and no one has come out. They were also supposed to submit pictures to Sharp and have not. Do not call these guys and if they are sent out by an appliance company for a warranty check, ask for someone else. Its been over a week and no response or next steps.

My oven had already been worked on twice within the first year warranty, but the company that Home Depot sent was unable to fix the problem after two attempts, even though the oven was new at the time. Nick, on the other hand, diagnosed the problem and fixed it successfully on his first attempt. His work was very efficient and he could not have been more professional, courteous, or pleasant throughout the entire process. The second appliance was my washing machine, which presented a little more of a challenge because the necessary part was difficult to find, but Nick was able to locate the correct part and complete the repair really quickly. The three visits to work on both appliances included the initial evaluations, identifying and obtaining the correct parts, and completing repairs to both appliances. Considering the amount of time Nick spent working, and the fact that three separate visits were required, I found the prices to be extremely reasonable. By today's standards it's worth repeating....the prices were extremely reasonable ! I highly recommend TJ Appliance Repair, and if you have the opportunity, I would recommend asking for Nick. The tech came to downtown LA (dtla) without hesitation (which is very unusual).  We were impressed enough we provided their info to the buildings chat group and our property management company.
