I was the adult on the premises to speak with the technician about our issue at the time. The nice young man who worked on the unit inside and out of the house was extremely respectful, knowledgable, and candid with his explanation of the services he performed. At my other brother's house, the furnace started puttering out in mid-February 2023. His wife's cousin and the company he worked for tried some half-effort work, not repairing the issue at all. We suggested Caprock. That issue has been resolved since Caprock's repairs. In both instances a technician was available at each house within a day. Repairs took less than an hour. I've heard no complaints about the costs. Lol. For my own house which should be ready for move-in a couple months from now, I'll have this company on speed dial should any issues arise.

All my husband told them that he wouldn't allow them to put in schedule 40 conduit because it wasn't up to code and he could call the electrical inspector to prove what he was saying is true. Now this is how Jay himself acted. Gesh what is wrong with people. They want your money but they want to come and do a half ass job. What kind of business does this and stays in business. I can assure you I will never send people to them again. I think I will call the BBB and see what I can do.

My AC went out around 5-30-18. After replacing the Run/Start Capacitor due to physical damage, (I…read morehave an Alabama HVAC license - inactive and I am a 40 yr veteran electrician), I had to call a service company on 6-4-18 as I did not have my tools here for working on the refrigerant loop. When the service company came out, they said it needed a TXV and a fan motor. I ask why a fan motor and they said "because you had to replace the capacitor" (this is an extremely low speed fan, the motor did not need to be replaced). They did say it was warranty work as they had installed it originally. When I received their quote it included parts on it. I reminded them it was warranty work and they said their quote didn't include parts and the price did not change. After nearly 4 weeks of phone calls and no progress, I gave up on them and ordered the parts myself. The parts arrived in 4 days. On 6-28, they contacted me to schedule access to my property for the repair. On 6-29 I called them to tell them that I was going to do the repair myself as I had found the damaged TXV line and did not want them on my property. They informed me at that time, it had been repaired. I had to go turn the unit on during the call to know it was working. While I was looking into repairing the AC myself, I found that the TXV equalizer line looked like it had been filed through at a location where it did not contact any other part of the unit. (I have pictures). It also looked like it had occurred on at least 2 separate occasions. One set of marks had a patina of 2 to 3 years old and the second damage was 1 year or less old ( AG Sheet metal had the service contract with the original owner). This service company is asking for nearly $2,000.00 for less than 4 hours onsite for the repair work. I believe this is outrageous and is price gouging. 2. He told me he would do it for $250.00 U paid him…read morehe never did the repair , left me in the cold for days and actually told me it was a frozen gas line , that I needed to call the gas company. in short I called C and K hvac they arrived and had the repair completed in 10 minutes . I paid $282 to them . Drennan is totally incompetent and kept my money ! use someone else that is honest !
