Hard to find, on winding back roads.... but well worth the effort !!! Everything about this restaurant is 5+ stars. Service was friendly, prompt, attentive. Started with the table-made guacamole - excellent. Chose three mains, and all were exceptional. I can't believe one of the reviewers here found everything lacking in flavor and authenticity. Mains includes Enchiladas (beef, chicken, veggie - great accompaniments), Mole' Chicken (1/2-chicken slathered with delicious mole') and the Beef Molcajete - beef strips, chorizo, queso fresco, cactus, & scallions in salsa, served in an authentic stone mortar. This restaurant: Is amazing. They are a family owned farm to table Mexican restaurant. They are doing an excellent job during these unprecedented times. The menus are propped up for contactless ordering and they also have a QR scan so you can see the menu using your phone. Everyone is wearing PPE and gloves. The food is served in disposable wear so you know is sanitary! There is good social distances and it's all outdoor seating with tarps. So no need to worry about getting wet under a cheap patio umbrella! And plenty parking. The food: is authentic and yummy delicious! I ordered the tamales, empanadas, and enchiladas de mole. The food is like eating at my Mexican grandma's table. I have not experienced this specially so remote from the big city. What a gem hidden in this tiny farm. For dessert I had the churros which where covered with sprinkled sugar and cinnamon and stuffed with amazing yummy caramel goodness. Served with ice cream and raspberry sauce. Absolutely incredible!! I drove 8 hrs to be here and they did not disappoint. This place is totally under rated. The problem is not many people who come here know about yelp. Although it seems to be really popular with the locals, they are typically older farm folks and families. I wish they got more reviews. This restaurant is such a surprise. The decor is amazingly authentic and it somehow fits in perfectly to the Catskills experience we are always looking for. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband talks about the steak about once per week. The grilled peppers were so special. I had the enchilada: quite simply amazing! This is such a little gem of a Mexican restaurant hidden out in the middle of nowhere in upstate New York! I think the food is probably delicious but it was cold by the time it got to us and the waitress was a little inexperienced, not very friendly, but that could all be due to the situation's in 2020! We had a 4:30 reservation for dinner. We arrived on time and were seated by our server. We ordered our drinks which she soon brought to us and took our order. That was the last contact we had with her until almost an hour later. 3 minutes before our dinners came out she came to our table and apologized for the delay saying they had a takeout order for 15 people ahead of us. So what! Any decent restaurant should be able to handle that AND our order. What do they do when the place is full? BTW, the other tables that ordered appetizers were all being served so I'm guessing that takes priority over our dinners... When the food finally arrived my shrimp tacos were OK ($19 for 2 tacos and 1/4 cup of rice) but my wife's Volcan de Polo and my son's Sonoran Steak Burrito were very disappointing. Both dishes were pretty much devoid of any kind of seasoning or flavor. They both left most of their "food" on their plates and we didn't take anything home. At no time did our server or anyone else check on us or offer to make any concessions during our unacceptably long wait. Needless to say we will never be going back to this sorry excuse for a restaurant. read more

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Great ambiance the wood inside is nice and gives a warm and inviting sense of place. The chips are fresh and the guacamole was fantastic (note: the guacamole contains dairy in case that's an issue for you). We had the chicken fajitas and the Cornish hen (I think) with mole. The fajitas were tasty and come in two tortillas - almost like big tacos and some fresh salsa and rice. The mole was excellent and the Cornish hen was tender and delicious - it came with three types of rice. The service was excellent and everyone who worked at the Table was very friendly and inviting. When we went it was BYOB, which was great for us. Would definitely return - we highly recommend. Note: we used yelp & Apple maps for directions and got a bit lost so you might want to use another app or set of directions if you don't know how to get to the restaurant. read more

WTF? When I first was told that there was an amazing farm-to-table Mexican restaurant in Meridale, I thought my friend was pulling my leg. It turns out to be true and the result is very yummy. The newly opened restaurant at Greenane Farm is serving up some of the most authentic farm fresh Mexican food in the Catskills. The Molcajete options are phenomenal, we got the steak and chicken. It was packed with food and flavor. We ate outside since the farm and land is so scenic. We had a charming waitress who told us all about the chef and the business, she was sweet and gave us free virgin margaritas to drink. Overall we are thrilled this unassuming Mexican detour wound up being an instant favorite. You must go out of your way to grab a table at the Greenane farm. Your sitting in the northern mountains but the taste is straight from the border. Bravo! read more

Incredibly lucky us. We found our favorite place in all of the Catskills to eat Mexican food. We got the Volcan, tamales, tacos and chips and guacamole. The Volcan is incredible, you have to share because there is so much deliciousness. The horchata was creamy and light with a not too sweet quality that has me craving it right now as I write about it. Our kids gobbled down the tamales and tacos and we got a kale salad with strawberries and honey dressing. How can you do something (new) to kale that makes it so easy to eat? We are NYC foodies who look for gems like this to knock the city chefs down a peg. We also grew up in TX and CA, if you must know our Mexican food pedigree. We've been around our fair share of taco trucks and dives. But here at Greenane farm, we had lovely, attentive waitpersons and a rustic barn surrounding with fresh flowers on the table and as garnish. We will go back even though it's an hour away from our summer place in Hunter. read more
