There are also after kindergarten programs if you'd like your kindergartener to have a full day of school. Prices are very reasonable considering the level and quality of the programs here. The teachers are great, and the teacher to student ratio is excellent (3 kids to 1 teacher in the 3 year old program). The entire facility is very aware of childhood allergies, and if your child has a sensitivity of any kind, it is addressed. This is great to keep in mind. Fortunately, my kids aren't allergic to anything, but I understand what a challenge this for other families.

The Head of School, Ms. Taylor, cares deeply about the wellbeing and growth of each child. The lead teacher, Ms. Karla, is incredibly warm and caring, and has been meeting the unique needs of each of my children. This is a true Montessori school: the environment is carefully prepared and when you observe the children in class, they attend to their own work happily and independently to the sounds of instrumental music. Sometimes Cathy can be opinionated, and very frank when talking with parents. She has been with me. She has strict rules for lunches (no popcorn, grapes must be cut, etc.), but she is always motivated by the best interest of the children. The teachers are all warm, dedicated and knowledgeable. This school is a local institution for a reason- there are very few traditional nursery schools left in the area. In the last few years, Cathy has updated the facility and added more options for the days/times students can attend (lunch, 5 day and full day options)- she has not changed her dedication to preparing our little ones for school through social and play based learning.

They are the best…read moremix of high quality daycare providers that you would get from a standard home daycare & larger daycare center. They truly feel like part of the family, helping to raise our daughter in a loving environment; and they operate a reliable business. For example, Kids Village always prepares for coverage during their personal time off; whereas a typical home daycare provider will take vacation time off, and you will need to adjust accordingly. On the flip side, they offer off hours child care with someone that your child is already familiar with. This is extremely important to us, as we don't have any family nearby for nights/weekend babysitting. The size is just right too; not too big where our daughter's only exposed to her own age range, and not too small where she doesn't have plenty of role models (and opportunity to be a role model). We have been so pleased with the clean, loving, fun, nurturing, educational environment that they've created. They truly are helping us raise our daughter, the way we could've only wished for.

It takes a special person to do what these ladies do and they do it very well. My son loves them, as do I, we feel like we are part of a family. As a first time mom, it was tough trusting the care for my son to another, but at our first meeting it felt warm and inviting like I've known them forever and had no doubts that this was the place for us. My son just turned 19 months old and I've been amazed at how fast he's learning. They are great teachers, role models and all around great people. Thank you for taking such great care of my son and teaching him everyday. We love you all very much.
