From the minute I first talked to Alihan, I knew the trip would be amazing. We must have talked on the phone for 20-30 minutes. Such a nice, polite man who is hilarious and charismatic. Just a very genuine person. Once we got off the phone, he sent me an email with a list of wineries with links that we looked through and chose what we wanted to see. We get into the limo, Alihan has a bottle of champagne waiting and a jazz CD that went perfectly with the drive up from the San Francisco fog to the Napa valley vines. He was incredibly knowledgeable not only of the vineyards there but also the history of the whole are, the who's who of the area from all eras. He even recommended the last winery we went to and got us an appointment very last minute and it ended up being one of the best we went to that day. I travel to SF quiet often for business and always need a reliable transportation during my visits. I have tried several limo companies before I came across A Star Limo. Usually I ask Alihan (the driver that I mostly work with) to drive me from and to the airport but last time I combined my business trip with some rest time and asked him to show me the best but not touristy places in the city. Actually before he told me, I didn't even know that they have special tour options both in and outside of the city. Next time I'm in SF I'll try to go to Napa for wine tasting. A Star was BY FAR the best limo service I have used in the Bay Area. Everything was very easy from booking all the way through the day of our trip. The folks on the phone were super helpful and friendly. Our driver, Alex (Alihan?), was a total rock star. He made us feel welcome and totally taken care of from moment one. He was attentive, funny, efficient and professional. He personally made sure every bit of our trip went smoothly: - He stocked, cleaned, and restocked the limo between stops - He always dropped us off and picked us up just at the right time and place - He knew where everything was, including sightseeing stops, the vineyards, and shortcuts - He takes phenomenal great photos, and takes the time to make sure they were posed and framed right - When he noticed someone in the group was walking around with a jacket or sunglasses, he would offer to take the things back to the limo to make our tour more comfortable; likewise, he offered to retrieve things from the limo if we needed them - He took the time to make sure the controls were working, and we knew how to use them. Instead of shouting back to us how to to something, he would pull over and come show us how to do something. - He also took care to make sure we had plenty of water at the end of our day. Alihan at A Star Limo was great! He took a group of us from SF to Napa and back with ease. He was accommodating, kind and professional. He has agreed to drop our group off in 1 location in downtown SF. But when a irate childish person in our group pleaded to dropped off in Oakland, Alihan was extremely nice and helped him out. I have used this company -- and specifically been driven by Alihan -- a couple times, and they always wow me with their competitive prices, fun party ready and very clean and feature-full limos, and awesome customer service. I was once trying to surprise my sister with a limo ride after dinner, and our dinner ended up taking two hours longer than I expected. I hired A Star Limo for my friend's San Francisco bachelorette weekend back in May. Ali was our driver, and he was fantastic! He was so easy to work with: he communicated easily (via phone and text once he arrived at our hotel), was courteous, kind and professional. He dropped us off and picked us up at our various spots in the city- dinner, then dancing, then drinks, then back to the hotel. He had this great system where he asked that I text him 10 minutes before we would like to be picked up, and he was always there 10 minutes later waiting out front! I was organizing a company trip and contacted a few limousine companies, but Alihan at A Star Limo was the most professional by far. From booking the trip on the phone to dropping us off at our last location, he was incredibly accommodating. He arrived early to pick the seven of us up in San Francisco at our office and dropped us off in Napa for the weekend. We also arranged for him to pick us up at the end of the trip to take us back to San Francisco from Napa. Alihan was our driver and was early both times, making sure that we didn't have to wait. He even loaded our bags with care as he told us to make ourselves comfortable inside the air-conditioned limo, as it was a warm day outside.
