If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would! A Smooth Move moving company came highly recommended. And what a smooth move it was. We were out of state when our home quickly sold. I reached out to Ryan at A Smooth Move & went over the situation & gave him an exact date (February 22) that we needed moving day to take place. Ryan took over from there. We were able to set everything up including the estimate, times, & forms via e-mail. My husband and I flew home for the move on the 20th. I called Ryan that night after realizing I would need more boxes. The next morning I had a special delivery from Andy, Matt, & James. My boxes!! They put all of my worries at ease, especially reassuring me the large, heavy massage chair would make it out of the basement. With the impending snowstorm on moving day, we decided on a 7:30 a.m. start time. The guys were very prompt, polite, and professional. All floors in the main walkways were protected. We did a pre-walk through and they got to work. All of our pieces of furniture were wrapped & padded & loaded with great care. They communicated with each other & us throughout the process, which kept things moving efficiently. Andy, James, & Matt went the extra mile to wrap up loose ends for us. After a final walk-through, they followed my husband to the storage unit where they somehow got everything to fit inside our existing units, with a little room to spare! Thanks ANDY, MATT, & JAMES. We recently moved from Oshkosh to River Falls, a move that required two days. Our experience with A Smooth Move was outstanding from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Ryan, the owner, was prompt in scheduling a walkthrough, provided a clear and accurate quote, and even sold and delivered moving boxes ahead of time so we could get an early jump on packing. That extra level of service was greatly appreciated and helped reduce a lot of moving stress. All team members we worked with were professional, hardworking, and attentive to our requests and directions. What stood out most was their calm and positive presence during what can often be a very chaotic and stressful time. They treated our belongings with care and worked efficiently while still taking the time to make sure things were placed where we wanted them. Delivery and setup in our new home went exceptionally well. Matt and his team were wonderful to work with and incredibly accommodating as we settled into a new space. Moving is never easy, but A Smooth Move made the entire experience far less stressful. I scheduled a move from a house and a storage unit into a new house in the NE Wisconsin area. I normally find moving to be a very stressful event. In this case, it was the least stressful, easiest move I could imagine. First of all, the owner Ryan made it clear to not hesitate to ask for anything I may have forgotten. In this case, once they moved everything in, they helped me place several area rugs underneath furniture. The fact that there were 5 movers (I've always had just 2 or 3 with other moving companies) made everything go remarkably quickly and smoothly. As a project manager by trade, I really appreciate that they communiated between themselves as a team, were well-coordinated, and took care to protect both the items being moved, as well as the floors and walls. Ryan and his crew from A Smooth Move moved us into our home a couple weeks ago and we were just blown away by their efficiency. It didn't matter if a piece of furniture was from Walmart, IKEA, or a family heirloom, each piece was individually wrapped and packed with care. They had our entire 5 bedroom house worth of furniture loaded up in the truck in 2.5 hours. When it came time to unload, it didn't matter how many times we sent the guys up to the third floor, they never complained. And when we remembered we needed them to haul our washer and dryer down from the second floor just as they were getting ready to leave, they didn't hesitate to run back upstairs and haul the appliances down for us. The company was extremely professional in everything they did, from laying down cardboard to protect floors to wrapping every piece of furniture before moving, They move our large items to new home garage before closing on house and made time to come back the next day to move the items in to house after closing. Would recommend this company and would use them again without hesitation. The cost for the move was also very reasonable and worth every penny. read more

They drove from Appleton to Maple Grove, Mn on a Thursday morning, arrived at my house and loaded my entire household by 4PM. I have moved quite a lot thru the years and these guys are hands down the best I have ever worked with. I moved my 81 yr old father 200 miles to an assisted living facility and they were outstanding. They were fast and efficient while taking the time to explain what they were doing so my father felt comfortable the entire time.
