They charged me $200 to wrap my tv. If I didnt pay them they were going to take it to small claims. I could have went and did it, but I didnt want to deal with him so I paid it. and they charged me for 3 wardrobe boxes where they simple threw everything in. so 1250 actually was what I paid them they had everything loaded in 20 minutes. I see all these great reviews but that Is on the multiple sites that have 1 in freedom, I in Appleton and one in Neenah I DO NOT give reviews but they schooled me on this I would not recommend d

I contacted Hauling Assets to help me move things from my storage unit out to a different location…read more I am disabled and unable to do many things for myself so I definitely needed assistance on this job. Jake, the owner, got back to me right away. I am usually extremely anxious talking with people and found him very easy and pleasant to talk to. I had told him right away that I had contacted other companies as well to get estimates. He asked a few questions to get more information about exactly what it was I was looking to have done and made it a point to tell me some different ways I could save money, whether I chose to go through them or someone else, and said he would send me a quote for the job. He was by far the cheapest estimate I received! I chose Hauling Assets not only for the price, but also how friendly they are. They aren't a huge company so you feel like you are actually working with people. This is also a newer business and I wanted to support them. Though the business is newer, the movers have much experience, having been doing moving jobs for many years. The day of the move came and they arrived on time and prepared to work, with any equipment they might need. They moved my things with great care as well as time efficiency. The job even came out cheaper than the estimate. They were extremely professional and kind people! I would highly recommend them to any and everyone looking for moving help. I will definitely be using them again for all of my future moves.

Our moving project was to empty two entire floors of furniture and other contents to other parts of…read moreour home so we could have our hardwood floors refinished. Then, after the floors were refinished, we needed the movers to move everything back to its original locations. The third or fourth call I made was to Jean at A-1. The first thing I noticed was she actually answered the phone. With everyone else I had to leave a message. The second thing, again, unlike her competitors, was that she set up an appointment to come to our home to get a sense of the job and to give us an estimate. She showed up on time and gave us an estimate while she was here. What she charged was more than fair, and again, better than her competitors. On the first moving day, the movers, Mike and Max, couldn't have been more professional, more efficient, or nicer. They performed their jobs and were extremely careful in doing it. Two weeks later, they returned, again on time, to move everything back. They were exceptionally careful - again. This was even more important because of our newly finished floors. They made sure that all furniture they moved, before they moved it, had protective cushions on the bottoms to avoid any scratching of our floors. The invoicing was easy, everything was easy with these people. But all one had to do was to initially spend thirty seconds on the phone with Jean to realize that her company was going to be loaded with people who knew what they were doing and did so with a very pleasant demeanor. These people were outstanding, and should I have any future moving needs, Long's A-1 will be the only call I make. I cannot recommend them enough.
