On our most recent overnight stay, we were one of only three occupied spaces in the entire campground. When we returned from a day out with our granddaughter, we found four large trailers filled with groups of adult men placed just feet from our camper. With dozens of empty spaces available, this placement was completely unnecessary and inconsiderate. The booking process specifically asks how many people will be on site, yet no effort was made to inform us that such large groups would be packed in so close. Each trailer,(not camper) contained at least five men, and the resulting noise and disruption ruined what should have been a quiet family stay. These men kept wondering around our campsite and occupying empty campsite picnic tables all around us due to the size of their group. When we voiced our concerns, the response from the office was unprofessional and dismissive -- essentially a "too bad, so sad" attitude. We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we packed up and left early. This complete lack of regard for guests' comfort and experience is unacceptable.

Really lovely (huge) campground that we stayed in for one night off season during September. Since…read moreit wasn't peak season and it was also mid-week we were able to get a spot overlooking the pond and use the Passport America discount. The grounds were maintained really well. There are a lot of seasonal campers here but they all seem to take care of their spots. Expect to see a lot of golf carts zipping around but everyone was friendly enough. Our site was flat with both a gravel area as well as a grassy area with a tree. Although they pack a lot of campers into this RV park the site felt pretty spacious (what a nice change). It was nice to sit outside, watch the ducks and geese and enjoy the fountain in the middle of the pond. One note, if you do have a site near the pond be watchful of the geese poop. It's plentiful because that's just how geese are and it's probably impossible for the campground to stay on top of cleaning it up. The check in process was quick and the girl who checked us in was friendly. They also gave us a zip up pouch with face masks, hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. Quite a nice touch during COVID! It seemed like during off peak, non-COVID times there was a lot to do at this resort. We saw miniature golf and some bouncy thing for the kids to play on. We were there to rest and lay our heads down for the night on our way to our destination so the current lack of activity was perfect for us. Lake Erie is right across the street though so we took a little walk in a local park and it was lovely. We wish we could have stayed another night because it was so nice. Hopefully we'll get the chance to return in the future.

When families make plans to return year after year for a particular holiday or event, having the opportunity to reserve the same site is something we've come to expect and appreciate at other campgrounds. Unfortunately, that was not the case here, and our site was made available without us being given the opportunity to rebook it first. It was extremely disappointing and definitely something we will take into consideration when making future camping plans. A simple priority rebooking period for current guests would go a long way toward encouraging returning campers and creating a better overall experience.

Do you love hiking and bird watching? That is there too. Historic lighthouses? Historic markers? Great lookout points? Those are all there too. They even have boat rides. This is a great place to spend time as a family, have a romantic date, hang out or get some exercise. The beaches have a variety of facilities and have different types of beach experiences depending on where you are. It is worth a drive to feel like you are getting a beach getaway closer to home. I highly recommend a visit here.

Lots of activities to keep people engaged and show off the great asset that PI is to Erie. One thing they could do a bit better with this festival is communicating when events are changed/postponed/cancelled. The park itself is amazing and looks like the visitors and the staff take every good care of it.

Water is murky, but it makes sense because it's a lake. About four benches were taken from other people/families because a family refused to rent the pavilion. Had many water cases from Sam's Club (about 3 cases), a couple of different pop varieties from Sam's Club (4 cases of 12 packs), and a bunch of snacks? Same person left flags in the sand, Jordan. Not sure why, guy was by himself.

This campground is the type of place I always wanted to visit as a kid. It is huge with so many…read moreactivities that you could literally spend your entire vacation here and never leave the grounds. I recently visited with my partner and our two kids. Let's just say, we aren't totally the dedicated campers where we need to pitch tents, bring all the accessories and sleep on the ground. That's why this place especially stood out as they had luxury cabins for rent. Or as my partner said, I'm good as long as I have air conditioning and running water! The cabin came with a screened-in porch, an outdoor fire pit for evening s'mores, a loft where the kids slept, a full living room and kitchen with refrigerator another room with bunkbeds, a bathroom and then the master bedroom at the back of the cabin complete with dressers to put away your clothes. I'm one of those people that always unpacks and must have things organized, so it was a lifesaver. You can rent golf carts, highly recommended as the grounds are spacious and some of the cabins are located far away from the activities. There are also communal laundry facilities, which were great to have since we had to use them day 1 of our trip! The common area offers free activities like playgrounds, mini golf, character meet n' greets and wagon rides along with firetruck rides. Other activities cost extra like ceramic making, tie die shirt making, glitter tattoos and several others. Some nights they offer free movie screenings and other programs. Overall, this was like camping without the pain! That's my kind of camping. Cabin rentals are a little pricey, but with all that space, it could accommodate a large family or even combine it with others to help split the cost. Finally, the biggest hit was the water park. This is a can't miss. We got a poolside cabana and spent most of our days here. The kids didn't want to leave!

Save your money and go to the Mill Run Park.
