Very nice place to stop. Building was big, open, clean, and had a lot of options to refresh. Vending machine food and drink, women's restroom was clean and stocked. I found it very cool there was an opioid emergency supplies kit on the wall the restroom. It's sad that in today's world that we have to have an opioid emergency supply kit. I enjoyed that music was playing outside, there were rocking chairs to sit in outside, and lots of informational signs about the native plants and surrounding areas. I think it's super important to have a decent welcome center for visitors to stop in and Ohio did it justice. 10 out of 10! read more

One of the very nicer rest areas, clearly it's been improved since some of the earlier reviews. A big open airy building with seating, murals and displays with information on Ohio attractions and amenities. The men's room was clean and I think they even have a wifi here. I had a great night's sleep here in my RV which was far enough away from the trucks to be quiet. This was pretty darned awesome, one of the nicest rest stops I've encountered on this trip. The building's dull gray exterior matches the Ohio sky well, the leafless trees and soggy ground is confusing me while the weathermen sing that spring is in the air, it's thirty eight degrees mid-day on the tenth of April. Its as if this well hidden welcome center has been abandoned not one soul in sight, has the world been raptured and no one told me, I truly feel like "the one left behind" here. Yes this place is eerie no lying ground hogs, no birds, no squirrels and no custodian mopping the piss laden floors. There's plenty of literature inside the information center to hoard for those that take the pamphlets only because the'er free, cigarette butts exposed by the melted snow circle the trash cans, some are smashed but most are whole discarded by their shivering slaves standing in the cold trying to get that last drag in before going inside. This is one of the most unwelcoming stops I've made - surely this isn't Ohio putting its best foot forward I've seem more lively spirits and decor at mausoleums... read more

This is a pretty nice Welcome Center. It ranks right up there with a few other welcome centers, notably Texas and Michigan and Ontario's. Always clean and relatively well-maintained, but over the years, I have learned to avoid the soda vending machines. They tend to take your money and deliver nothing in return. read more

You pull quite off the road to get to this Center so you end up being surrounded by trees and grass when you get out of the car. A nice welcome after a long day of travels. The bathrooms are clean. They have a row of vending machines. And of course they have a million pamphlets of what you can do in the area. It's a welcome center after all. But that's it. read more

Very simple - not impressed with this stop - though it was there when I was desperate - I've have to be desperate to stop again! The place wasn't well-maintained - it wasn't clean - things didn't work and the damn vending machine took my money! read more

This is about a month or two late but when I was here this really is a decent travel center me and fiancé stopped here to use the rest rooms and to my very much surprise hey we're actually clean!!! There is plenty of close parking and lots of places to sit all in all pretty decent place to take a rest thanks Ohio :) read more

This rest stop looks awesome from the outside, but it's run down inside. In the men's room, there was only one stall and urinal working, ALL of the others were out of order. It was incredibly dirty. The women's room was very similar, according to my mom. Extremely dirty. Mark this place as a "stop only if you have an emergency." Also, no food nor gas here whatsoever. read more

This places exterior is fairly well maintained. Interior is cleaned, it's clear they have maintenance- but their restrooms are very low tech, faucets aggressively shoot water, they have benches that are wrapped in construction tape, and no paper towels. A bit disappointed, but still better than any stop in Pennsylvania. read more

Not pleased at all & very disappointed. For starters, the trash cans were overflowing with trash that was not picked up. The parking lot was covered in cigarette butts. The restrooms were filthy, toilet paper everywhere and urine left on the women's bathroom floor. There were no paper towels to dry off your hands (not everyone has time to wait in line for hand dryers) and the floors looked like they hadn't seen a mop. The staff was also very rude! The older short skinny man wearing a yellow & orange safety vest was yelling at people going into the building and was loud and rude, and used a lot of profanity when there were other families with children there that afternoon like myself. I will stop at a McDonald's or Burger King Bathroom before i ever stop here again. read more

Nice grassy space with charcoal grills if that's your thing at a rest stop. Really clean bathrooms...which is always a plus. No food or vending machines which is odd. read more

Typical. Not as over the top as some of the others I've been too. Everything was clean and safe. We stopped at night and there were some "sketchy" people just hanging about. I wasn't too concerned since they we're just keeping to themselves. I've been to rest stops in multiple states and for some reason this is the ONLY one where I questioned my safety in a bathroom stall. I mean there wasn't even any threats I just was sittin there, TRYING to do my biz and the little thought came in. "Man, I could totally be raped right now!"
