The other day my bosses had gotten their vehicles tinted at this place. After seeing the quality work done on their vehicles I knew it I had to find out where they went. My cars been needing some tint and I wasn't sure where to go. My boss gave me their card and I was able to get fit in the next day (today). Meeting Richard he was very professional, friendly, and down to earth. He walked me through the process and told me what he recommended for my car. He doesn't have a big shop, but for a small operation it was efficient and better quality than most. I knew I was in good hands from start to finish. Richards a good man and he does an excellent job! My only regret is not knowing of this local small business sooner. Of all the vehicles I've owned I would've gladly returned if I'd known. Either way these guys do a top notch job. My husband had his truck windows tinted a few years back and loved A-Precision Tint. Raved about the owner and how great a job he did and how good the windows looked. So when he found a groupon he decided to take my car and his new truck in to get them done. Omg.... phone tag back and forth with no word from the owner to begin with for over 2 weeks before we got a call back. Then we struggled to find a time that would work for us. More phone tag without call backs for weeks. Finally my husband got an appointment for his truck this morning at 9am. He gets there and the owner is about to leave on a trip and says he tried to get ahold of my husband but he didn't have the number down right and could not reach my husband to let him know. I definitely admire business owners who take the Leap. Those that survive the landing, anyway. Especially out of their own garage. Richard ran what he claims was a very successful commercial tint business for years, owned his own shop, his clients included high volume car dealerships. But as he watched his kids grow up without him, he figured life was more important than 7am appointments, so he took the Leap: dropped the big accounts, shut'r down, and reopened out of his home. That's what he's been doing, going on eight years, now, and his kids still have plenty of daddy time. So yeah, everything I read about this business delivered. I went the Groupon route, got a great deal -- Richard worked out details on the extra windows and degree of tint I needed -- and the car was ready about three hours later. Since the biz is basically a two-man show, be ready to play a little phone tag to set up the appointment, but don't worry, he's responsive (far moreso than many Groupon companies I've attempted to work with). I stumbled upon Richards business while I was browsing yelp and Groupon. They offered great deals but I found it best for me to deal directly with Richard rather than Groupon. Richard/the owner was very welcoming! He discussed what I wanted to achieve for my car and price with no pressure. I've set an appointment to do my car at 1030 and I was out the door at 1215. Including the terms and all a 2-man team did my full car tint in under 2 hours! 6 windows, rear and windshield. The quality of tint is great, value for money.and included a lifetime warranty. I am happy with the tint job, I think the price was good, and I agree that Richard is very personable and I enjoyed talking to him. What I did not like was the fabric on my doors was stained. It is light upholstery and the spray Richard used to adhere the tint left unsightly stains. The two doors tint on the passenger side had to be redone, so I took my car back the next day. On that side each door was double stained. I noticed this later. I texted Richard and he said he had a product to take out the stains. I will have the doors steam cleaned, at my expense , as I think this is best to remove the stains. So if you get your tint done here be sure to have the fabric on your doors protected. This place used to be great with quick and easy service. I was happy when I got my Tacoma done a few years ago so of course I wanted to come back to get my new truck and the wife's car done. Ordered the Groupon he has a month and a half ago. Called several times with no answer. Left a few messages and didn't get a reply until a few weeks later. Finally made an appointment and showed up to get the work done this morning. Surprise surprise he says he's going out of town and can't do it. I came across this company on groupon I called to ask about appointments before buying and he advised me not to buy the groupon and he would still honor the same price. When I got to the location with an appointment there were 2 cars in front of me which I learned was like a first come first serve type of deal. I waited about 2 hours for my tint which I was not happy about but wanted to get it over with. The guys were nice and personable, I left satisfied. Within 2 years of getting my windows tinted my back windshield has started bubbling. I have tried calling 3 times , they have a voicemail box that is full. On the message it says to text message for faster response and I did that twice as well with no response. They offered a 5 year warranty against bubbling etc. I guess the way they get around fixing their improper installation is by not answering their phone. If you are looking for a good, reliable, customer service based company this is not it. read more

Had an apt for 2weeks scheduled with Rio Rancho glass and tint(only because they could only schedule me two weeks out!) they called and cancelled right before my appointment and did not seem to care that I was going out of town and that was the last chance I had to get it done. I've taken several vehicles to this guy (Richard); he does great work. He screwed up my windshield (an innocent accident) and didn't have time to fix it at the time. He said he'd fix it later, and claimed, "I'm good for it," only to claim that the temperatures weren't warm enough to fix the issue, or he was too busy; that went on for months. I decided to let it go for the time being. I just reached out to him to get a quote on a new car. He quoted $300, for all of the windows (windshields too). I told him that since he'd never gotten back to me to fix my original windshield, he would obviously agree to do my new car fir the $300 less the cost of a windshield, which he quoted at $100. But, Richard isn't a man of his word after all, now claiming that I'm trying to take advantage of him or name my own price. Apparently, keeping his word isn't worth $100; that's really what it comes down to. Today, he loses a repeat customer who has sent at least a handful of people to him. Not anymore, Richard. Instead, you've cost your business much more then $100 with this decision. It's a shame too, because you do good work and represent yourself as an upright guy. Five stars for good work. Four stars for price. One star for integrity. read more
