I called a couple of times to ask when the crew would get scheduled. I was always told that they aren't sure when the crew would actually come out to do the work. Understandable, they're busy. But a month or so later, with zero warning, the crew came out to do the job. Why not notify me? They proceeded to compelte only half the job and left the outside of the house littered with rusted nails and trim for several weeks. For what little they did install, it was not all installed correctly. I call them they need to fix certain parts of the installation. I asked if they could put a weather barrier up given the monsoons were coming. No response. Several weeks later, I finally get someone back out after calling and calling. They came to finish the job, but same issue - the trim wasn't installed correctly. Not only this, but one of the crew members broke my window. They said they would replace it for free. I spoke with Briggett and she re-assured me that they would resolve it. I let them come by, and they finish the job with the superintendent. I must say, this has been such a ridiculous effort. It took a total of about 4 months end to end to get a few pieces of wood correctly installed. Given everything that happened, I truly believe a discount should have been applied but they did not. I did not want to have to write this review, but I truly don't recommend this company. It was nothing but pain.

We should have went with window world. American Vision Windows was not the lowest cost, but we…read morefelt they were the most qualified. We were wrong. Here are a few of the issues we dealt with them on. We were offered $75 refund (off of an almost $50k bill) for taking a delivered door that was damaged, or a month delay to reorder. Much to their surprise, we took the delay, and it was delivered much quicker. American Vision Windows tried pushing their project management off on me by asking me to report to them if their sub contractors did not show up. I had to tell them that was their responsibility, but ended up having to call them on multiple dates to let them know work had not been done. After the install was "complete" there were areas where daylight was visible through the framing and wall. Sliding doors were installed where more than half of the threshold was unsupported causing warpage and binding. Within 30 days, caulking was failing (still an ongoing issue), roller tracks warped from southside exposure (also still an ongoing issue) resulting in sliders unable to open (even though we paid extra to have their "south west desert tested windows" installed), interior trim falling off. Other issues include sub contractors showing up hours late, or not at all, wanted to charge me extra to install a light even though it was included in their quote (note that the light was required per local code), stucco sub contractors beat on exterior of wall hard enough to knock off items hanging on interior wall and break, door undersized for opening and the use of fiberboard used to shim the security locks. As of a few years later, I am still dealing with water infiltration issues, and warping threshold that make opening the door impossible. Threshold have had to be replaced at least 4 times due to warpage and the inability to open doors. Which is a safety concern. Individuals who were part of these issues were Elias Arreola, and Thomas Foster among others. If you are unfortunate enough to have American Vision Windows on your property, and have these guys assigned to your remodel, ask for someone else, or better yet run away and count your lost time as lessons learned. American Vision Windows will tell you they provide a lifetime warranty on the windows. It is just a pass through from the manufacturer. The only thing AVW provide a warranty on is the workmanship, which you can see from my pictures is horrible, and it is only good for 1 year. This was the worst $50K I have ever spent. Again, these guys were not the lowest cost we were quoted, we were not looking for low bid. We were looking for a quality install/product and we were dupped.

When we tried to switch window vendors and order from a different vendor, they were very apologetic and sent a quote. Since then we have been completely ghosted. They have not returned phone calls, emails, text messages and their physical address is an empty office building. Long story short: we have not received our deposit back or the product we ordered. After six months of waiting, we moved on and the new slider was delivered and installed within four weeks (by a different contractor)

Once two years pass, it becomes extremely difficult to file a formal complaint or claim warranty support, which leaves you completely on the hook for their mistakes. Writing this review so that we can help someone. Just like many other reviews, we were initially very happy with the window installation at first. However, here we are 4 years later dealing with active leaks that have caused interior drywall and patio damage. We had an independent inspector evaluate the windows, and they confirmed the original caulking job was rushed, improperly sealed, and poorly executed. There was some areas where the caulking wasn't even applied. Please take time to see the pictures. When we reached out regarding the water damage, the unprofessionalism of their team was unbelievable. Instead of taking accountability or offering a real solution, Kris was dismissive, sarcastic and condescending--telling us to "Take a walk, grab a beer. Cool off bro". They also said it was basically our fault for not maintaining the windows by painting the caulking, which we were never informed to do. They tried to smooth things over by offering a complimentary recaulking, but that simply isn't right--a free patch job doesn't fix the drywall damage or make up for a job that should have been done correctly in the first place. We sent them the invoice hoping they would cover any amount of the patio damage resulting from the leaking window, and we still have not heard back. You pay a premium for new windows so you don't have to deal with leaks, home damage, and poor workmanship. To pay that amount of money only to be met with cheap quality and blatant unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. Please inspect every exterior seal thoroughly as soon as possible.
