Up until last night I'd never gone to this salon, and I'm so glad I walked in last night. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't your place. (Hence the 4 stars) However if you're looking for friendly and good service you should give it a shot. I'm assuming it was the owners that were working last night. My daughters went there and their nails were horrible and the acrylic was way to thick and bumpy and the lady raised her voice at my daughter and made her cry like what kind of customer service is that I'm more than pissed. And the amount of money they charged f***ING ridiculous don't ever go there. I will never waste my money on that place again. read more

Very unimpressed. The prices are the same as everywhere and they do a terrible job! We decided to check this place out and if I'd known of the poor quality ahead of time, we would have kept looking. The woman who did my nails asked almost no questions about the length or shape that I wanted. I wanted them curved and said that once I saw she was going to make them boxing. She told me she would do that at the end. After she put on the gel I again mentioned that I wanted them shorter and rounded which she then seemed confused about. After 10 minutes of her attempting to round them she tried to push us out the door before I was happy with the shape. Very unprofessional. Along with that, she didn't clean up any of the skin around my nails so I had to go home and fix them after spending $25 on this terrible nail job. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The best experience I've had at a nail shop. They weren't busy, they were funny, their english was good, and they did a great job on my nails! I don't get my nails done often, but I will be back. Extremely cold and rude and got worse when I asked her not to cut away my entire skin surrounding my nails. Manicure and pedicure. My own natural nails are nice, but they file and clip away. No lotion at all with manicure or ANY kind of hand massage, which left nails and cuticles dry. No foot massage. Polish was horrible with paint left on skin. Made an attempt to talk to everyone else in the shop but me the ENTURE time. Had so much better and treated so much better so many other places. So won't go back and leaving my first bad review ever. That's how bad it was. The nails were 1 out of 4, but service was 0 out of 4. Glad I live somewhere else. Oh, and they don't tell you there is a charge for using a card, I just read it in these reviews and realized they charged me $2. I'm from out of town and had no idea they prefer cash. I went in to get a pedicure. I was placed in the foot soak/spa area for 45 minutes. The water got cold, I had to wait so long. I would have preferred to wait in the waiting area for some of that time. Staff wasn't rude but wasn't friendly either. Got what I would consider to be an average pedicure for $30. For that amount I expect a much greater level of attention and involvement in the pedicure experience. This was basic, at most. I may give them another try to see if I receive the same service, but Tu Nails has given me much better service for the money. read more

Rude nail tech! Called at 7 asking to get my nails done came in and told her I wanted pedicure and fill in. Did my toes but not nails because it was close to closing. I understand that but I told her what I needed done prior to her doing it. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN. Phoebe was the one who did most of the talking. I even called it express my disdain. She's laughing. Very funny since I'm a consistent customer and always tip 20% or more. Pedicure was average, good maintenance of feet but polishing was alright. read more

I am new to the area and have tried a few nail salons. I finally found Eric who did a great job. My fill was done beautifully. Thin and articulate. Other places have burned me while doing my nails but he was gentle and nice to talk to. I'll be back! read more

I paid $25 for a gel manicure, the polish started to peel & chip within 3 days ( at other salons the polish lasts for 3 weeks) ! I will not be back! read more

The lady and the younger man were both extremely rude, and the "manicure" which consisted of just painting was mediocre. The older man was the only one who seemed respectable and kind towards his customers. I won't be returning. read more

I've been a regular however the last visit and the rudeness of the tech will make it my last. I generally go to Phoebe but Eric was the tech ths time. I've actually joined Yelp to give this review. The work was okay, but the condescending attitude was awful. When I was finished he simply walked into the employee lounge after taking my check. I didn't know if he was coming back or if he was just done. He had a bad attitude from the time he walked in. If I'm paying for a service I would at least like a little respect. I was looking for a new nail salon. They charged to remove an old set of nails even though I was getting a new set. Way over priced and they let me soak in acetone for over 45 minutes. My skin is a mess! Nails aren't even filed properly and not shiny. I will NOT return. read more

Phoebe was great! Very professional and efficient. The prices were very reasonable (though try to pay in cash if you can). My only complaint was that I had an appointment and still had to wait half an hour before anyone was available to see me. However, the reason they were backed up was because they had lots of walk-ins, so I'm guessing they are well liked by the community. I had many good pedicures there and love the chairs. But then one of the men cut my nails round and very short. My toes hurt for a couple of days. The next visit the other man started to cut my nails and I told him they were too short. He cut anyway and I asked him to stop. He went back and cut again when I wasn't looking. My toes hurt for three days from being cut so short - and round, not straight across like they are supposed to be. read more

Worst place ever! I was not happy with the end results of how my nails turned out! The man who did my nails had the worst attitude and did not take his time what so ever. The shape of my nails were off and were not filed correctly. Went back the next day to have them fixed because I was really unhappy with the way my nails looked (this place is not cheap so I felt I should've got what I have paid for).The woman who works there is nothing but rude (I believe her name is Febie) I would try to explain that I would like my nails to be fixed properly due to me paying $52 for them but she did not care at all. She would constantly cut me off and start yelling at me In front of her clients which I feel is very unprofessional. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I just went to get my nails done today with my friend. We walked in and they weren't so friendly. They just said pick a color and sit down. So we sat down to get our pedicures done and towards the end when she was painting I wiggled my foot just a little and she yelled and said DONT MOVE! Next was manicures. I was hoping to sit next to my friend but she sat all the way at the other end of the gross shop. When I was getting my nails painted I lifted up my finger to look at the color I smudged it on her hand and she started saying things that I didn't understand. Then she bumped her hand against my thumb and started telling me to stop being so clumsy. Then when I sat down at the drying table and I smudged it this time and she once again said things I could not understand. When my friend was done she came over and showed me that when the man was cutting her cuticles it started to bleed. And then he put ALCOHOL on it! And then he blamed it on her because she chews on her nails! When I took a look at my nails I saw how horrible they looked. She got the polish all over my cuticles and skin. It was the same on my toe nails. We walked out of there and they did not say anything. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. Do not come here!! read more
