I never get my nails done so I went for the first time in forever because I was getting pictures done with my fiancé. And the guy doing my nails ripped the acrylic off without acetone and it hurt. He ignored my cries for acetone. He handed me off to another lady and she did the gel x crooked and also tried to rip it off but I was prepared this time. read more

Absolutely beautiful nails done by Tiffany (I believe that was her name). She was precise, didn't hurt me once, and followed my reference to a T! I'm not a big talker when getting my nails done and she allowed me to just sit and enjoy my manicure. She also talked me info more expensive gel polish so that no drying time and both can leave early. My question is if tgey don't have enough time to do why they took a client in. I walked in around 6 pm and they close at 7pm. I noticed the open sign was on even at the end ! The skinny girls there they think they can fool us. Not going back there. If only there were a ZERO rating. If only. What are the basic and major problems with this nail salon? I will try to answer these Q's as precisely as possible. 1) Kasey - the 1st person with whom you come in contact when you make an appointment. A nastier, more arrogant, angry person you'll never meet. She's related to the owner?! The WORST- when you're actually in the salon and she picks up the phone, if the person wanting an appointment asks her a Q, which she deems STUPID, she answers in a snarky tone and when the convo is finished (after the FUTURE customer of the salon makes the appointment) Kasey bashes them to the customer she has at her station!! Making her customer and others very uncomfortable. She does this too often!! She's also the 'greeter', for lack of a better term. I've been a customer since 12/2021, coming in every two weeks for a gel manicure, and to this day she makes no effort to even acknowledge that I've entered the salon, much less say "hi Liz.' She knows my name she's had to say a couple of times, unprompted. Her disposition is indicative of a miserably unhappy human being and I don't need that in my life. ENOUGH! 2) John - the person who has consistently done my nails, both on my hands and feet. Every two weeks I have made an appointment with him for the last 8 months. He, along with Kasey, have on at least 4 occasions shown a blatant disregard for my time by not honoring my appointment time. I've had to wait up to 40 minutes bc he had already started acrylic nails on someone else! Apologies? A couple halfhearted, without ever saying "sorry". Why even bother taking APPOINTMENTS in the first place. And then there is "oh you wanted a manicure?" when getting acrylic nails. DUH! I have been getting manicures EVERY TWO WEEKS FOR 8 MONTHS! What would make you THINK that, that had changed? Did I ALL OF A SUDDEN GET MAGICALLY DISAPPEARING CUTICLES AND DISAPPEARING TINY BITS ON THE SIDES OF MY NAILS?!! This last time with acrylic nails from my last visit, in need of cutting, clearly, bc John said "you want nails cut, yes?" To which I responded "yes, half", meaning half the current length (this went well with no misunderstanding, but it will come up later in this review.) 3) John's Filthy Station - management (RYAN) should be on top of this. Dust and who knows what, left from previous customer(s), especially on the cushion where you rest your wrists. And can we talk about the filth and polish inside the gel lamp(s) he uses? I can't imagine they've ever been cleaned, since they were bought. And general cleanliness - after working on my nails (gel or acrylic) dust and other particles are scattered EVERYWHERE. Brushing them away takes care of some of it but not all of it and since John DOES NOT use gloves, (that he could discard before he puts oil my nails and cream on my hands), with his unwashed hands that still have particles and dust, he applies both oil and cream to my nails and hands. Are you getting the picture? I'm feeling the grit being rubbed all over my hands and up my arms! The only saving grace here is I get to wash my hands once he's done!! We're coming to the END of this review! Finally, right?! Paying Time Yesterday! After John "filled" the outgrown acrylics and not given me a manicure, I go to pay and he says "$40" and I say "$40?" and he says "$35 for fill and $5 cut your nails". Have any of you ever been charged for getting your nails cut whilst having acrylics? Off and on for the last 30 years I've had acrylics and I've had them done in NY, London, Paris, Mexico City and San Francisco and I have NEVER been charged to have them cut down, whether it was a little or a lot! This was the the very last straw; BEING RIPPED OFF!! Final thoughts: Just bc a nail salon is around the corner from where you live or work, if it's this bad, it's worth your time to drive elsewhere. I've always loved my time having my nails done. It's a mini vacation I give myself. I work hard and I deserve to relax and enjoy the experience. This is the antithesis of JOY! THE END! read more

Last time I was here I had to wait an hour when I was told the wait was 15 minutes. I was told to call for an appointment and there would be no wait. I showed up on time and was put in a pedicure chair. 45 minutes later the water was cold and I wasn't close to having a technician as there were 2 others ahead of me in the same position. As I walked out I mentioned to the owner that I had made an appointment and wouldn't co tinge to wait. He just shrugged his shoulders. They do reasonable work but my time is too valuable to be treated this way. I WON'T be back EVER. I gave a one star as there was no do not waste your time or money. read more

I go to this place all the time. My daughter and I went on a Saturday and did not even get asked what we wanted. They have us the minimum treatment and quick wam bam ty mam and on our way. Waited 30 min. Then our pedicure only lasted 30 min. Trying to get as many people in and out as possible. I would not recommend this place if you want a relaxing day when you finally get one as a mom!!! read more

NO! The price sheet says 22$ for fill in and 14$ for toes painted. My nails were half way painted!! My toes are clumpy and also poorly painted. I had to ask the lady to fix a few toes from halfway painted. Then I get to the checkout and they say 52$!! I asked them to fix my nails first. She kindly put another layer of paint and tried to fix it. I will never go back. From prices going high because if there mistakes and poor paint job. I would also like to add that they were all very kind and caring. The nail tech tried to help and fix it but the kindness is not worth 52$ and a crappy fill in and toes painted. read more

I had a gel manicure done here a while ago, very relaxing! I even walked in less than an hour before they were closing and asked if they were still taking people, and they welcomed me in! Good experience getting my nails done, and for $25+tip they lasted for 3 solid weeks! The only thing that could have made it better was the quality of the gel manicure- while it was applied away from my cuticles, in some areas it still reached my skin on the side of the nail, which lead to the peeling away of the gel about 2 weeks later. I would definitely go again- as that is a super common problem with gel, but it wasn't a 100% experience for me! Maybe better next time! read more

I got a full set of acrylics from this salon for vacation. The design that I asked for wasn't to my liking. When I no longer wanted these nails I came back to have them removed. The nail technician used an acrylic tip to rip the acrylics off my nail causing some of my nail bed to rip off. This was also painful! read more

Not really good quality but it is what it is we went to the closest nail salon so we came here. The service was good almost all were nice but when they got to the nails it was kind of nasty they didn't make me wash my hands after the buffing and stuff and moved on to nail painting instead they also didn't paint my whole nail completely and made it look like I haven't my gotten my nails done in like a week and looked crusty after a day (my cuticle) so service was nice but it just wasn't it for the job but thanks :) read more

The service here is pretty bad. The woman who did my gel manicure scowled the whole time and all of the other nail technicians looked equally miserable. The only time they perked up was to blatantly make fun of a man who apparently came in fairly regularly. Talking about how gross his toes were. It was very unprofessional. My gel manicure was the worst I've ever received. Paint all over my fingers, sloppy application, I seriously could have done it better myself. Don't waste your time here. I went in with a thick layer of dip nail polish! They did a great job they weren't thick! The service was nice! It was near closing time... i didn't feel like they were rushing. They took their time and did an amazing job on both my nails and my moms! I've been they multiple times and had different experiences and for sure this time was one of the best! If you're looking for fast, mediocre service then this will do. Every single time I've gone in they have rushed through pedicure and manicure. So much so that they have literally cut either my toes or fingers EVERY SINGLE TIME. No joke, I leave there every time with a cut. Before going, I think to myself "it won't happen AGAIN" and it does. Do they discount service when they cut you? No. So you've sat through rushed services, they do an okay job nothing to call home about, and then draw blood and they don't say anything about it and charge you full price. Oh, and it's also not the cleanest salon. The last time I went they were using the same towel they used to clip my nails to rub oil off my hands. So I had nails and skin all over my hands! At one point I told her to use the other side of the towel. They also don't wear gloves. I've experienced nice welcoming employees, none of the rudeness the other reviews talk about. So like I said if you aren't looking for the full relaxing experience and just need something quickly done. This place is fine for that. read more

The people here are rude. It's very clear they don't care about customer service. Also, I've been here a couple times and it was always "alright " so I stopped going. Went back the other week with my mom and they did a TERRIBLE job. I got a simple gel manicure and the edges were very sloppy and lifted within days (due to edges not being properly capped). My mom got a pedicure and the guy told her he could do the design then when it actually came time to do it he said he actually couldn't do it. They were extremely rude. Very stressful. The lady, Kasey, kept telling me non-stop to relax my wrist, and keep telling me that I was fighting her. I was as relaxed and limp as I could be. She keep slapping me on my wrist and telling me to stop and told me to look away. She continued to do this the whole time, and it was worst than the dentist. Literally the worst service I've ever received from a nail salon. I got my acrylics filled on Jan. 20th. Normally, I don't get gel polish put on my nails but I was in a hurry and the extra $5 sounded worth it. By Jan. 24th, my gel polish had come off of 4 nails while I was in the shower. I went back into the salon & told "this isn't my problem" by one of the technicians. The manager must have noticed I was upset so he came up front to see what was going on. When I explained to him that I just wanted to get my nails repainted, another technician jumped into the conversation and said "I don't have time. Come back to me when you make an appointment." I'm not sure how this could ever be considered good customer service, especially considering I was very polite and quiet about the entire ordeal. I feel that the salon is very unprofessional and it's very sad that the people who work there are so rude. Now, I'm walking around with 4 bare acrylics trying to find a new salon to go to. I have gone here off and on for over a year and I am not going to go any more. The people that work there are not nice! They act like they are doing you a favor instead of you paying for the service. They also will do what they think you want instead of listening to what you really want. They try to up sell you on things you don't need. For example- I went in and had my nails and toes done and the rude last who did it asked me if I wanted gel nails (an additional charge) and I said, ok. I didn't realize they had the same color? Well, it wasn't the same color. One was orangeish and one was pink! When I said something she offered to change the color, but I didn't have time to sit there for another 30 minutes while she did that! Then I went in one time to get a sheer pink color with gold glitter on top and the foot lady said, we don't do that and acted pissed that I even asked. Then she told me she would get the color and picked out an antique gold and put glitter on top. I had grandma toes!! It was so ugly and then when I asked if I could get my nails done with the sheer she quickly scurried off and said I had to ask manicurist. So I just left because I did not want grandma nails to match my hideous grandma toes. Every time you ask something they get huffy and pissed. I feel like I have to be quiet the whole time I am there because I might make someone mad. I am a laid back easy going person and not much bothers me, but this place is just bad. The customer service is HORRIBLE. I noticed this last time I was there that there weren't as many clients as usual. I am sure other people are tired of being treated like crap too. read more

They might call themselves A Plus but if the mother of the owners starts toward you to do your nails, run, do not walk out of the salon! I get my nails done regularly at Lee Spa Nails in Holly Springs but needed a gel manicure near my work. My mistake. I knew something was wrong when she took out a drill to take off soak off polish. Now, thanks to mom, I have an indention line around each of my nails and can't wear French again until her goof grows out. Plus she painted over my cuticles instead of taking care of them first. I had a gel mani and by day 5 my nails were peeling off. Went back to the salon to let them know how my nails were ruined. They blamed on sunscreen?!?. The attendant did not even offer to "fix my nails", the few left with polish. The attitude of "nothing we can do" was unacceptable. I have had gel polish all summer and not once had an issue.
