I was ecstatic! I thought I had found someone who stood behind their workmanship.......WRONG! A week later I received a bill in the mail for almost $700.00!!!!!!! I nearly had a heart attack since it costing me anything was never mentioned during the replacement. I immediately called Phil's and tried to reason with them........long story short they proceeded to take me to small claims court which was decided in my favor but Phil's appealed the decision. Lo and behold Judge Herrington decided in their favor. (crooked????) The Police Officer who originally served the Small Claims notice told me that he also had problems with Phil's Plumbing & Heating. After having them do some work for him, which he promply paid the bill in full, received a bill in the mail for $1200.00 addition charges for "incidentals!"

He assessed the project, explained our options, answered all of our questions and provided us with a detailed quote. Equipment was ordered and they were able to work us into their schedule in about a week; (over a week ahead of the initial date which was 3 weeks out)! This was wonderful as the weather had turned cold and our old furnace was barely working. Two guys showed up at 8:30 am and got right to work and a little later 3 others came to work also! By 4:30 they had removed the old furnace and a/c and completely installed the new furnace and a/c and had it all up and running! They were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful, going above and beyond the required amount of work necessary. Receptionist stated a technician would be out in the next couple of days 6/2/2021 - received phone call from technician saying they would be coming out, they provided less than a 5 minute notice before showing up. Luckily I was working from home this day. Jake's requested that all new clients pay up front/not wait for a bill. I gladly paid. 6/4/2021 - called again requesting a technician come out to take a look at the mini splits that were worked on as the SAME ISSUE was still occurring (mini splits not working, same error code). I was told someone would be in contact with me 6/8/2021 - called again asking when a technician would be able to come out and look at issue. 6/14/2021 - today's date. I still have yet to hear from this non-responsive company. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM YOU. So the facts are you charged me for service upfront and I paid, thinking we were doing an HONEST business deal.
