The owner of this company is the one doing the cleaning. He talks a big game, but unfortunately he's better at sales than he is that carpet cleaning. He also jumped the price up to $300 on the day of the cleaning when he quoted me $250 max originally. I needed the carpets cleaned in the apartment that I recently moved into, prior tenants had cats and urine smell in the unit. Carpet cleaner was quick to cover his butt saying there are also yellow spots on the walls, so I should expect cat urine smell to continue. The reason I know he didn't do a good job is because I sometimes leave my laundry on the carpet, and within hours my laundry ends up picking up strong cat urine smell. This is after I already wiped down all the walls and repainted areas. After reading about cat urine neutralizer, I learned that all of the windows need to be opened when spraying the neutralizer because it causes the uric acid to turn into a gas. If the windows are closed, then the uric acid can't turn into a gas and stays saturated in the carpet. I'm sure the carpet cleaner enjoyed the AC while he was doing the carpet cleaning with windows shut, but at the expense of leaving my apartment smelling like cat piss. Dude should know how to use his tools properly. No point in complaining to have the job redone properly, I wouldn't trust it to be any better the 2nd cleaning. Also sure that I wouldn't be able to get a refund even though the work was done poorly. read more

My bedroom ceiling collapsed after a water leak. Carpet was a mess; water, insulation, dry wall debris. Damon picked up bedroom carpet plus two smaller area rugs I decided to include (I have a dog). Damon at A-Plus just surpassed himself, again. He does outstanding work, satisfaction guaranteed. Damon's ethics are great, too. I did have a spot come back in my dining room, Damon was out the next day and used a cool piece of technology to suck the soaked in stains out of the pad so it would not re-surface - it worked! This saved me a bundle, as I did not have to replace the carpet. Damon has completed (I think) five jobs for me. I'll employ with him again when the need arises. I've had A plus Carpet Cleaning for many years and can't say enough good things to recommend the high quality & efficient​ manner my carpets are taken care of. I have white carpets and love plants. These beautiful plants compliment my white carpet, unfortunately I'm not always careful with watering so occasionally​ water drips onto my carpet leaving ghastly​ yellow stains. A Plus Carpet is a miracle worker those stains disappear after they clean my carpet. I can't say enough positive things about the owner. My carpet was old wool loop and previous homeowners had pets, nuff-said. Damon, the owner, listened to my concerns about not leaving the carpet to wet and focused on the pet stain areas. After he finished (which was within a reasonable time) I could tell right-away the difference in the brightness. My 25 year-old carpet looked a whole shade brighter and smelled terrific. I had the worst experience with Damon, the owner of this company! I was moving in a new house I just purchased and scheduled him to do the carpets 2 weeks in advance so that they would be done the morning I got the keys. He totally flaked on me the morning he was supposed to clean the carpets and never called. I waited for 45 minutes...and he never showed. When I called his office the lady that answered the phone said he was sick & had been sick all week. He never had the courtesy to even call me so I could find someone else. I was then late for work, had to scramble to find someone else to clean them and was forced to move in late. Really sucked because I was so excited to move into the my new house :(( read more

I'm pretty disappointed with the owner of this company!! His compassion for people truly sucks!! I made an appointment with him when I saw he had a deal for 120 per room. it was for the month of December, but I wanted my carpets cleaned in the new year he still gave me the deal since I scheduled in December switch I thought was great! I like getting my carpets cleaned every year so I was going to have him start being my new guys since the last guy retired; however the night before he was supposed to come and clean the carpets my husband started throwing up and was sick I gave him a covid test and he tested positive I was worried and spaced the carpets that was my bad! I called to reschedule since I wasn't home when he got here. I told him what happened he didn't care was short and rude didnt ask if my husband was ok, and before I could ask about the discount he told me he won't offer it and if I didn't want to reschedule that was fine!! We are visiting my parents in redding and my husband happened to spill his Christmas day breakfast all over the carpet. We are talking syrup and strawberries and stuff. Some serious damage. So I checked yelp for the closest carpet cleaner and found A+Carpet. I called Damon the morning of the 26th and he was at my parents home an hour later. He was able to get the spills out of the carpet and my parents were so impressed they had him clean the rest of the house. He moved some small furniture for us that we didn't even ask him to move and he made sure all the corners were cleaned as well. We've never seen our carpet look so good. They actually clean the carpet and don't just dump water on your carpet like the last company we used did. He uses a natural cleaner instead of the harsh chemicals. The carpet doesn't look matted like before but looks fluffy again,smells good too. Wish we would have found them sooner.
