As soon as I pulled in I was greeted by Armen and Niko. First off the shop is nice clean and well maintained. Niko showed me to the customer lounge to hangout while he worked on my car. Lounge was a great spot to hangout with a couch, magazines, tv and to top it all of a pinball machine. Most lounges I go to are nasty but this one was amazing. While waiting Niko came over and then showed me a possible issue with my front shock. Great to have someone looking out for any issues while working on my car. I was going crazy looking for a decent shop in the west valley area to install an after market clutch in my 2015 Volkswagen GTI. Went to this place on Monday morning. My dad got their 5 minutes before I did. When I got there, the owner had pretty much lost his mind, he was muttering on about how he's not going to work on our cars, because my dad was hovering. Said he was booked and didn't need "this" My dad is 74 years old, he drove 25 miles, only for this diva to tell us to leave, the old man was genuinely shattered. They told me my AC compressor was broken & they had it in stock & could do it that afternoon!!! Now again Im from Ohio, it would have taken at least a week to get this done. And they gave me a free rental car for the day. I went to pick it up & had the oil changed as well. A Plus Automotive lives up to it's name. It delivers; Service, Quality and Integrity. I had steam coming from the engine of my BMW and I quickly took it to A Plus that was close by. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello by Niko. He quickly diagnosed my problem as a broken cooling hose. He gave me an estimate and a time the work would be done. On top of that, Niko, dropped me off at my house and offered to pick me up once the job was done. (I live about a mile from the shop). The final bill was the same as the estimate and my car was ready several hours ahead of schedule. I must confess, I had the usual anxiety about going to a mechanic; worried about upselling, overcharging and possible repairs that were not necessary. But these guys seem to be the real deal. When I pulled in and saw the Maserati and Ferrari logos above the office, I groaned a little, immediately excepting my Chevy Cruze to be treated like an afterthought. My experience was the complete OPPOSITE. As a petite young woman, I've experienced my share of sexism when trying to get my car serviced -- I almost always expect to be treated dismissively. Armen listened very attentively to all of my comments about the problems the dealership couldn't seem to fix or even properly diagnose. There's been a faint high-pitched noise under my hood for the last 3 years that the dealership had certainly heard while working under the hood, but they never seemed to notice or mention it. Armen recognized it as overlapping with another issue I'd mentioned that was causing my check engine light to come on. This means the dealership probably could have caught this years ago if they'd been paying better attention. The service I received was top-notch. Armen treated me with great respect and was extremely communicative. He was very engaged, jumping in my car and taking a ride with me to listen to the air conditioner noise I'd also been trying to get the dealership to handle for 3 years. He offered to pick me off, drop me off, or give me a loaner car multiple times. He also got me a good quote on some body work with a shop down the street. Went to this place to get my brakes checked. Niko went out of his way to take off my tires and show me my brake pads and let me know that it didn't need to be changed. He could have lied and said that I needed them and I wouldn't have questioned it, but the fact he was completely honest was great. I have been a Customer since 2016, I had purchased a 1999 540I BMW and the person I bought it from referred me to his Mechanic Armen who I learned that it was his Daughters car...I have always had regular service Oil changes done by Nico his Son, I needed an Air Conditioning Part replaced for a 2001 540I , and I always do research, and I have learned that the part runs around under $60.00 genuine BMW online...It took them less than 1/2 hour to install the part and I was Charged $420.00...Recently I had my Check Brake lining light come on and I was told by Nico to go Fuck myself several time and He does NOT want to do Business anymore...I had advised Armen by phone prior and he said to bring in the car, I did just that and this is how I was treated...I also wonder how a business can NOT charge you for Tax if you pay with cash and never give you a receipt? read more
