I tried two different mechanics for an older car in our family and had nothing but frustration. The last place "fixed" a major issue, only for the entire repair to fail just a few weeks later. After that headache, I called around to a few new shops. The second I got on the phone with Niko at A Plus Automotive, I just had a feeling I was in good hands. When I actually visited the shop, I was genuinely surprised. It is incredibly clean and tidy there are no old, junk cars sitting around being stored. The whole place has a great vibe that honestly feels more like a hangout than a stressful repair shop. I have easily set up my laptop and gotten work done in the inside sitting area and/or outside while I wait. The owners and staff are all so friendly. This is a true family business, and they genuinely treat you like family the second you walk through the door. I've gone back a few times, they keep the car running great. I have recommended them to my sisters and several female friends. They are the type to shop around extensively for prices and vibes, and every single one of them ends up coming to Niko. No one in town can beat his prices nor his customer service. My friends always thank me afterward for sending them here. Five stars all the way I cannot recommend them highly enough! read more

Needed an oil change for my BMW M8 Competition and after calling around, I finally found A Plus Automotive. Spoke with Niko over the phone--he got me in on short notice and took care of everything seamlessly. Super knowledgeable, straightforward, and the pricing was better than expected. Hard to find shops you can actually trust with a car like this, but these guys earned it. Highly recommend--this will be my go-to spot moving forward. read more

Niko and crew did a great job installing over axle pipes on my Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely return.

Nico was kind and personable and patient. He was able to assess the vehicle quickly and efficiently got the part we needed and arranged for us to come in. It was absolutely a painless process and we're super happy with the results. The business is a family business and is totally helpful with answering questions. Love this, cannot thank them enough! read more

If you're looking for a mechanic who is not only skilled but also trustworthy, Niko is the one to go to! It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about their customers and their vehicles, but Niko does just that. Only local shop that sells AMS oil & though rare, always comes through. Very convenient, friendly & accommodating. Thanks Niko!

I would highly recommend A Plus Auto for any service they have! If they don't do the service themselves, they will recommend a good quality place to get the job done. Nico, who has been our mechanic for several years now, will take the time to explain what the issue is and not tell you something is wrong if it isn't just to make money. Nico is honest, reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, and knows his stuff!! I really appreciate knowing that I can rely on Nico to do a stellar job on our vehicles! I feel very comfortable knowing my car is in good hands! Thank you Nico always for a job well done!! Go to Nico and see for yourself. He will most likely be your go-to mechanic once you see what he can do:) Laura Morrione & Todd Joseph read more

I've had my 2002 BMW 530i for 23 years and have seen my share of mechanics. Nick is as good as any and better than most. He never charges for the little things. He's honest, reasonable, personable, and competent. He's kept my car running as good as ever. He truly lives up to the A+ name. read more

Good service. Personable experience, which is important. Honest recommendations by the owner.

I stopped by A plus auto on a friends recommendation to get a second opinion on my brakes and I'm so happy I did. The first guy I went to piled up this and that saying I needed all these extra things. Took my car to Nico and man was he professional. Looked at my car while I waited in a really comfortable break room. He told ne the other mechanic was just trying to get a quick buck and just needed breaks done. He did them the next day, I'm so excited I have a new mechanic. read more

A guy from Auto Zone recommended this shop for servicing my BMW 740iL back in 2010. It was the greatest blessing! Now, I choose to take my vehicle to Armen & Niko. They have serviced both German and Japanese cars for me from aesthetic work to regular maintenance. And, over the past 10 years, have served my family & I with honest quality work. They are timely with their service and even have a comfortable waiting area for clients. I look forward to continuing business with APlus Automotive and highly recommend you stop by to maintain any vehicle! They are honest mechanics and well worth the prices they charge. Thanks A Plus Automotive for always taking care of my family and I! Beverly read more

Highly Recommend :) Oil Change : Drove into the auto shop and was greeted at my car by Nico. He was very friendly and showed me and my 17month old to the waiting room whilee wait for my car to get the oil change. The place was immaculate . No joke. Very clean, smelled really nice and clean and it was cool. There was a lot of memorabilia from Nico.. I felt like I was sitting in his home garage. He honored the yelp discount kindly. BIG PLUS FOR A MOM, there was a massage chair in the waiting area. It was nice to relax even though I had my daughter with me. I waited no more than 20 minutes and was out the door! read more

What a blessing. I was referred to A+ Auto through a trusted friend, they are amazing!!! They were patient with me a quick to fix a major problem for my Volvo within the same day. Niko took time to show me what the problem was, and their prices are extremely fair. I have been ripped off so many times by mechanics that I was so impressed with their prices, integrity, and kindness. Thank you Arman and Niko! My 2009 Mini is running like a dream! I was stuck with radiator fluid gushing out and was referred to this shop from O'Reilly. Hands down best auto service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Made an appointment with Niko to get new front brakes and rotors installed on my 2012 Mazda Mazdaspeed3. As soon as I pulled in I was greeted by Armen and Niko. First off the shop is nice clean and well maintained. Niko showed me to the customer lounge to hangout while he worked on my car. Lounge was a great spot to hangout with a couch, magazines, tv and to top it all of a pinball machine. Most lounges I go to are nasty but this one was amazing. While waiting Niko came over and then showed me a possible issue with my front shock. Great to have someone looking out for any issues while working on my car. Niko had both my front brakes and rotors installed in just over an hour as he promised. I'll be back here every time I need my car worked on. Highly recommend them. read more

I was going crazy looking for a decent shop in the west valley area to install an after market clutch in my 2015 Volkswagen GTI. After searching and searching I was able to find A plus after driving up and down looking for shops. What caught my eye was how clean and neat this shop was, no tools all over or parts laying on the floor like most shops around here. Decided to talk to Armen and he was very professional, gave me a really good price on the clutch install and gave me a quick turn around time. I don't really trust any shops or mechanics but this one I do. I would recommend it to anyone hands down! read more

I have know of A+ for 6 years, as they are my employers mechanics for their Fleet trucks as well as all employees personal car repairs and manintenance...for even more years than I have been employed. I recently had a battery issue and knew I needed a 50K tune up. Armen and his son were so helpful and took my car that morning I dropped it off. They provided a loaner car to me so that I can get back to work and the entire service was done the same day. A few years back I was in an accident and they also tooko my car for the body work. They handled that so well and in such a reasonable time frame. I definitely would recommend A+ for all car services and or body work. read more

Went to this place on Monday morning. My dad got their 5 minutes before I did. When I got there, the owner had pretty much lost his mind, he was muttering on about how he's not going to work on our cars, because my dad was hovering. Said he was booked and didn't need "this" My dad is 74 years old, he drove 25 miles, only for this diva to tell us to leave, the old man was genuinely shattered. We all have plenty of choices in where to take our cars to get serviced, my advice to anyone considering this place should think twice, unless of course you like your oil change with a side of drama and theatrics. read more

I've been working with Armen and Nico for several years now, and let me tell you - they are the best! Honest family owned business. Nice, clean facility. Great guys - I've known Armen a long time and he treats me like family. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else!! Thanks Armen and Nico! read more

A Plus Automotive lives up to it's name. It delivers; Service, Quality and Integrity. I had steam coming from the engine of my BMW and I quickly took it to A Plus that was close by. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello by Niko. He quickly diagnosed my problem as a broken cooling hose. He gave me an estimate and a time the work would be done. On top of that, Niko, dropped me off at my house and offered to pick me up once the job was done. (I live about a mile from the shop). The final bill was the same as the estimate and my car was ready several hours ahead of schedule. I must confess, I had the usual anxiety about going to a mechanic; worried about upselling, overcharging and possible repairs that were not necessary. But these guys seem to be the real deal. The real friendly and honest neighborhood mechanics that you can trust. I would recommend them to any family member or friend. read more

Im from Ohio & relocating in LA during a heat wave with a broken air conditioner was not fun. I called & they told me to come right over. They told me my AC compressor was broken & they had it in stock & could do it that afternoon!!! Now again Im from Ohio, it would have taken at least a week to get this done. And they gave me a free rental car for the day. I went to pick it up & had the oil changed as well. They informed me there was barely any oil in my car & showed me where the optimum level should be at. They are the best. I would recommend this place to anyone. They are professional & courteous. And very fast. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! Armen is the man! He has taken care of me twice now. Let's face it, when you go to a mechanic you are usually super stressed with car problems. He puts me at ease and reassures me that it's no big deal and can be fixed. Not to mention, he gives me a free loaner every time which makes my life 1,000 times easier! When I pulled in and saw the Maserati and Ferrari logos above the office, I groaned a little, immediately excepting my Chevy Cruze to be treated like an afterthought. My experience was the complete OPPOSITE. As a petite young woman, I've experienced my share of sexism when trying to get my car serviced -- I almost always expect to be treated dismissively. Armen listened very attentively to all of my comments about the problems the dealership couldn't seem to fix or even properly diagnose. There's been a faint high-pitched noise under my hood for the last 3 years that the dealership had certainly heard while working under the hood, but they never seemed to notice or mention it. Armen recognized it as overlapping with another issue I'd mentioned that was causing my check engine light to come on. This means the dealership probably could have caught this years ago if they'd been paying better attention. The service I received was top-notch. Armen treated me with great respect and was extremely communicative. He was very engaged, jumping in my car and taking a ride with me to listen to the air conditioner noise I'd also been trying to get the dealership to handle for 3 years. He offered to pick me off, drop me off, or give me a loaner car multiple times. He also got me a good quote on some body work with a shop down the street. I have no intention of ever letting anyone else touch my car ever again. Lifetime customer. read more

They are a father & son duo & im floored at how nice & honest they are! We thought it was going to be a quick fix until I could bring it in, but they fixed it on the spot!!! They were knowledgeable & quick...they have fixed my auntie's car on more than one occasion & she had the same experience!! Definately grade A service. Trusted my gut on a shop close to work and glad I did. What an incredible experience! I'm usually very cautious about who I choose to work on my beloved Bimmer, especially with my past experiences with shady mechanics. But rest assured! Your Bimmer is in the hands of a bonafide Bimmer Master, Armen. I came in knowing that there was an issue with my brakes. Armen took my car for a drive to feel out the kinks. Meanwhile, I was chilling in a very comfy, clean lounge. Armen's son (Niko, I believe?) then called me out to examine the brake rotors. This was the first time I've had a mechanic take me "under the hood" to thoroughly explain what the issue was. I really appreciated that. I agreed to go with a full replacement of the rotors and brake pads. Armen explained he only uses parts imported from Germany, so you know your car is getting quality parts that will pay off in the long run. I was prepared to chill in the lounge for the duration of the repair, but Armen was kind enough to lend me one of his cars to drive home. What a great gesture! After roughly 3.5 hours, my car was ready for pick up. Armen assured me that my car was in good condition to drive. We then chatted a bit about Bimmers in general. He took me round back to his garage to show me his beautiful '85 6 series. My jaw literally dropped! That was very cool of him to express his love for BMW. That's how I know I can trust my car in his hands. Overall, great experience! Very please to have finally found my BMW go-to-guy. Even when I move out the valley, I'm 100% positive I will make the journey to come back out here. Thanks Armen! read more

Several years ago I paid $1200 to fix my 1997 C230's air conditioning. So when the AC on my 2000 C230K went out a few months ago, I was determined to hold out for as long as possible. I did too, until temperatures hit 113 degrees a few days ago. The first mechanic I took it to couldn't find the problem, and misdiagnosed it as an electrical fault which he couldn't fix. He recommended MBZ, the Benz specialists, but they said they didn't do air conditioning repairs (they were too busy and to far anyway). So back to Yelp I went, and chose A-Plus for the rains and the proximity. It didn't hurt that they open at 7 am (the early bird catches the worm). Three hours and $175 later, my AC was working good as new. Price would have been much lower if Armen hadn't spent an hour trying to find an electrical problem that didn't exist. Now I understand why mechanics don't always trust other mechanics diagnoses. The place is spacious, clean and well run. I'll be back. read more
