While that doesn't always indicate the quality of care, it is a good first sign. The front desk was careful about making sure visitors checked in. I appreciate that they are keeping an eye out. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby and a cafeteria in the basement. When you are visiting, it is nice to have these service on site. My father was here due to a stroke and was not always the easiest person to have as a resident. The RNs and PTs were universally good in addressing my father's pain and rehab needs. I have to particularly complement the PT in encouraging my father to take part in physical therapy. Most of the CNAs were good with repositioning my father but there were a few who did not show enough caution when repositioning his leg where a part the ankle bone had been removed because of an infection. Any movement of the leg was painful and any sudden move was excruciatingly painful. No one wants to be in a facility like this. If any of my relatives were to need this type of assistance again, I'd be comfortable with having them stay here.

She also does not wear clothing appropriate for work and serves unsafe food. I will be removing my mother from this facility asap and ensuring the health department pays a visit. Send your family here to die in disgust and food-poisoning along-side the miserable employees.

From the initial sales tour with Suzy through the nurses review and meeting all the aids, I new this was the right place for Mom & Dad. They all went out of their way to welcome M&D and help them transition to their new home. Even Kara in billing helped by providing billing details for our insurance company. When questions or concerns came up, all I had to do was ask and the team responded with solutions that fit our needs. It is very comforting to know that my parents are in a safe and loving environment, and if they need anything at all, it's just the push of a button away. Now they can live out their golden years in comfort and safety. My sincere thanks to all the people that make up the team at Silver Maples of Chelsea!

The facility is well done and clean, the staff genuinely warm and caring and her fellow residents an extremely fun and interesting group with diverse backgrounds, such as university professors, retired judges and published authors. Mom developed many close relationships, always had something engaging to do and always felt loved and cared for. A true blessing for the later years of her life.

We are so thankful that our loved one ended up at Regency on the Bluffs. Everyone--i mean…read moreeveryone--was so caring, supportive and professional. They are all very hard-working. I know, because I spent almost 24 hours a day there during my husband's last days. (We had hospice care while he was there.) SO I was able to observe the staff around the clock. There were therapists of all kinds: physical, occupational, speech, respiratory, etc. Doctors, and P.A.s who checked on him. Social workers, etc. Best of all were the nurses and aides who attended to his needs--and ours--with understanding. We are truly grateful to Regency.
